As long predicted, the closer the public gets to the truth about UFOs, the harder the pushback will become. That day has finally arrived. At the same time, a cabal of hard-core debunkers, masquerading as skeptics, had been outed for its secret takeover of all Wikipedia content regarding UFOs and prominent people who have investigated the subject. And on various social media platforms, where civil discourse is a rarity, a cohort of the usual suspects have participated in unleashing personal attacks that are vile, even by their own low standards. So, what's going on? Is all of this unfolding at the same time purely by coincidence? In this episode, Jeremy and George review some of the more glaring examples of the new era of pushback against UFO truth and give shout outs to some of the unsung heroes who are fighting hard to push back against the onslaught of propaganda.

In the fall of 2017, security personnel at a U.S. military base in Iraq detected a highly unusual intruder. The bizarre object was essentially invisible to all but a thermal imaging system. A thermal recording of the object as it flew across the base was made by astonished observers. Within minutes, a video feed of the episode was cut off from U.S. allies located within the same base. Intelligence assets at the base continued to monitor the object as it crossed the facility, then zipped over an adjacent body of water, stopped on a dime, plunged into the lake, then emerged 17 minutes later and blazed into the heavens at an astonishing speed. 

An attempt was made by the base commanders to collect and suppress all evidence of the incident. Witnesses were all sworn to secrecy. The full video files were seized, then buried. But somehow, a partial copy of the video was made and stored on an secret internal server. The object, dubbed "the spaghetti monster" by those who later saw parts of the video, seemingly resembled a jellyfish. It was widely viewed by base personnel in the months afterward.  

In this episode of WEAPONIZED, Jeremy and George reveal details about how and when they obtained a video of the sensational Jellyfish UFO, what steps were taken to try and discern what it might be, and also respond to spurious attempts to explain away the jellyfish UFO as something other than a legitimate UAP. That Jellyfish video exploded onto the UFO scene days ago and has now been viewed by millions of people around the world. Included in this episode are comments from one of the military personnel who was present at the base soon after the incident.

Long before the existence of AAWSAP or AATIP, there was another UFO investigation within the Dept. of Defense named ATP [the Advanced Theoretical Physics program], headed by a veteran intelligence officer named Col. John Alexander. Alexander and colleagues searched for hidden evidence of UFO crash retrieval/reverse engineering programs but didn't find any. For years afterward, Alexander was skeptical whenever "crashed saucers" were mentioned, but what about now? 

His detractors refer to Col. Alexander as "Dr. Death”. He is purported to have psychic powers and mind control abilities, is often associated with the shadowy "Aviary" group of UFO insiders, and is viewed with fear and suspicion whenever he attends a UFO conference, on a par with the Men in Black or Darth Vader. Alexander chuckles about how he is perceived by ufologists. He led special forces teams into combat during the Vietnam conflict, was involved with the US Army's remote viewing program, became the head of Non-Lethal Weapons research at Los Alamos lab, and in the 90's, hooked up with NIDS, the National Institute for Discovery Science which was created and funded by Las Vegas billionaire Robert Bigelow. Alexander was with Bigelow when the businessman purchased what came to be known as Skinwalker Ranch.

Inspired by the sworn testimony of UFO whistleblowers, Congress is grappling with legislation designed to force the disclosure of materials, craft, and bodies allegedly collected from crash sites. The current wave of whistleblowers is not the first to spill secrets about UFO crashes and reverse engineering efforts by military contractors. In 1997, a high-ranking Army Intelligence official Colonel Phillip Corso shocked the world with his account about a Pentagon office charged with dribbling bits and pieces of alien technology out to major corporations and labs. The tech, Corso said, came from crashes near Roswell New Mexico. Corso's book "The Day After Roswell" became a huge bestseller in 1997, the 50th anniversary of the Roswell events. 

But five years before he released a book, long before he was known to anyone in the UFO field, Corso told his story to George Knapp. Corso also sat down for two lengthy interviews conducted by personnel associated with NIDS, the National Institute for Discovery Science. The interviews were recorded, though the recordings were never released. In this episode of WEAPONIZED, Jeremy and George revisit the Corso tale and take a deep dive into the unreleased Corso tapes.

The Pentagon and its defense contractors are poised to crush pro-UFO transparency legislation. Indications are the DOD and its allies are using their political muscle and campaign dollars to pressure key members of Congress to guy the so-called Schumer/Rounds amendment, which called for the disclosure of UFO crash retrieval and reverse engineering programs. Former intelligence officer David Grusch spilled more secrets this week in a blockbuster appearance with podcaster Joe Rogan. Grusch hints that other whistleblowers are poised to tell what they know no matter what action Congress takes. Grusch also lent his voice to the inaugural Sol Foundation conference, hosted in part by Stanford professor Dr. Garry Nolan. Grusch met and interviewed more than 40 people who have seen the evidence first hand. That information has previously been conveyed to Congress in sworn testimony delivered behind closed doors. Grusch had previously been targeted for retribution by higher-ups in the intelligence community, which is why he filed whistleblower complaints with the Inspector General of the Intelligence Community, then shared his story with journalists and with a House committee. In November 2004, one of the most powerful and sophisticated naval armadas in the world had its maneuvers repeatedly interrupted by unknown intruders. The USS Nimitz carrier group was jam-packed with high-tech sensor systems, but over a period of two weeks those sensors were repeatedly stymied by the appearance and disappearance of unidentified objects in the vicinity of the fleet. CDR David Fravor, the highly esteemed leader of the Navy's best aviators, the Strike Fighter Squadron 41 (also known as the "Black Aces”), was directed to pursue one of the mystery objects. On the heels of blockbuster testimony from UAP whistleblower David Grusch, a letter has surfaced which alleges the UFO coverup is a multinational effort. Recently-retired intelligence officer David Grusch did not want to become a UFO whistleblower. Grusch spent much of his life protecting the most sensitive secrets in the world, many of them housed inside Special Access Programs that were unknown, even to congressional overseers. In April 2021, dozens of US Marines stationed at the sprawling Twentynine Palms base in the Mojave desert witnessed what they describe as an unusual array of lights in the night sky. These Marines, many of whom work directly with flares and other ordnance, were at the base for an extended two month training exercise. Several of them said they saw the outline of a "craft" behind the lights and, in their opinion, the lights in the sky did not resemble any of the flares that are routinely used in training exercises or that they are familiar with. Last week, in an effort to generate additional information, WEAPONIZED unveiled several videos recorded by the eyewitnesses, along with low light photos which appear to show the outline of a triangular object. In the spring of 2021, almost two years to the day, dozens of U.S. Marines being trained at the sprawling base at Twentynine Palms watched in awe as a massive, triangular-shaped object sat motionless in the sky for a period of more than ten minutes. Several Marines recorded images of the triangle on their cell phones, including phones equipped with low light features. Base commanders reacted quickly to the sighting. They mobilized ground units, dispatched helicopters, and fired off flares to try and illuminate the mystery craft. Jeremy and George have obtained multiple videos and photos recorded during the incident and also interviewed several of the Marines who were present. The witnesses alternately described the object as the size of a two story house and as long as half a football field. Despite the number of qualified witnesses and the excellent images recorded during the encounter, the case was not reported up the chain of command, nor was the information shared with AARO (the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office), the government's formal UAP investigative agency. What do other world governments know about the UFO mystery? When the USSR collapsed in the early '90s, a brief window of opportunity opened. Biochemist Dr. Colm Kelleher was a project manager for the largest government-funded UFO investigation in US history. The Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) spent $22 million over 27 months in its study of UFO incidents, cases, and technology. Five years ago this week, former US Senate Majority leader Harry Reid arranged and hosted a closed-door meeting in Washington DC. The purpose of the get-together was a briefing about a then-unknown investigation of UFOs and related phenomena. For decades, stories of crashed UFOs and secret recovery operations have permeated popular culture. Colm A. Kelleher, Ph.D., is a biochemist with a fifteen-year research career in cell and molecular biology. Following his Ph.D. in biochemistry from the University of Dublin, Trinity College in 1983, Kelleher worked at the Ontario Cancer Institute, the Terry Fox Cancer Research Laboratory, and the National Jewish Center for Immunology and Respiratory Medicine. He more recently has worked as project manager and team leader at a private research institute (NIDS), using forensic science methodology to unravel scientific anomalies, including animal mutilation cases, investigations of black triangle incidents, and other unexplained phenomena. He was a program manager for the largest government-funded UFO investigation (AAWSAP) overseen by the Defense Intelligence Agency and is currently senior manager with BICS, the Bigelow Institute for Consciousness Studies.

The presence of a Chinese surveillance balloon over American airspace culminated in the dramatic destruction of the balloon by a U.S. warplane. In the days after that highly publicized incident, three additional "unknown objects" were detected and shot down over North America. The government says it has not yet determined what the objects are. Does this represent a new level of transparency regarding UAP intrusions, or is the public being misled? Between 2007 and 2021, the U.S. government authorized three distinct efforts to investigate and evaluate UFO/UAP incidents, cases, and effects - the acronyms were AAWSAP, AATIP, and the UAPTF. Only one person in the entire Defense Department had a key role in all three programs. Jay Stratton was a career intelligence officer who worked for the Office of Naval Intelligence, the Defense Warning Office of the DIA, and in other sensitive national security programs. He specialized in the reverse engineering of technologies, threats, and future scenarios. In 2007, he was recruited to consult with the DIA-funded investigation known as AAWSAP, the Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program, a contract awarded to a private company affiliated with Bigelow Aerospace. The first case he investigated was the now-famous "Tic Tac" UFO incident. After AAWSAP ended, Stratton worked closely with Lue Elizondo on a successor effort known as AATIP, which focused exclusively on military encounters with UFOs. After Elizondo left government, Stratton was asked to form a new program that eventually was formalized by Congress as the UAP Task Force. During those years, he created a massive, classified briefing presentation that was delivered to Pentagon officials, intelligence agencies, defense contractors, and members of Congress. Stratton left government in 2021 and is currently employed by Radiance Technologies. The interview with WEAPONIZED is the first public statement he has ever made about his work as the government's top UFO hunter.
