A fan podcast celebrating all things Penelope, Colin, and Bridgerton complete with episode deep dives, book rereads, theories and speculation, and plenty of spiraling from a group of friends who anxiously awaited Season 3 and now are braced once more for the Wilderness Weeks.
The podcast What a Barb! A Polin Podcast is created by What a Barb!. The podcast and the artwork on this page are embedded on this page using the public podcast feed (RSS).
Pucker up, dearest listeners. There’s a full moon in the sky and a question on Penelope’s lips.
Join us for Part 2 of our S3E2 rewatch, as we take cover with an abandoned pirate coat, sneak a peek at a little Parisian smut and take a crash course in Bandaging Mister Bridgerton.
Once Pen’s made sure her hand is all patched up, we shall be galloping along to the nearest lunar soirée to search for a missing bonbon, take a sex ed class with Portia and mourn the loss of a quickly departed steed.
As we get back into the saddle with Season 1 Colin, we’ll also be commiserating with Window Pen, planning our next paycheck with Rae and slipping into the garden for a covert meeting with an old friend: the Pointy Topiary.
And once hope is lost, on an unknown night of the week, in the heart of Mayfair, in a moonlit garden in Grosvenor Square, we’ll sobbing along as Colin Bridgerton kisses Penelope Featherington.
And, dear listener, it will be bloody glorious.

Imagine it with us, listeners.
A dashing suitor – sorry, tutor – and his very teachable pupil dedicated to academic pursuits. What could possibly go astray? Accompany us to Rotten Row for fresh air, a fluttering of fans and a little failed flirting as we begin our rewatch of S3E2 ‘How Bright the Moon.’
As a brightly coloured bonnet and a fatalistic gust of wind conspire to forge this particular history of connection, we’ll be reminiscing over mornings at the bordello, Sunday teas at Bridgerton House and a most remarkable shade of blue.
So take a gulp of your emotional support lemonade and grab your playing cards – it’s time for an eagerly awaited visit to the classrooms of Grosvenor Square.
You wish for no more talk of books, Colin? We’ve heard through the grapevine that your star pupil is preparing her own seminar, ‘Romancing Professor Bridgerton,’ and we’d bet anything she’s going to get full marks.

Delicate and oh so agreeable? Crack open the bonbons, dearest listeners, because Harry Dankworth has come to call.
Join us as we welcome the astonishing James Phoon for a splendid conversation about his time on Bridgerton, including Prudank nose boops, a cheese-loving brother-in-law and a newly Christened Baby Dankworth.
We’ll be following James’ time on the show from a mysterious audition and inspiring costume fitting, through to the weird & wonderful celebration of our favourite citrus-loving family.
And once the final butterfly has flown from the Dankworth-Finch Ball, we’ll be heading to the Yorkshire Moors for a discussion of the other, other, other Brontë, the importance of claiming your own space, and navigating life through journaling.
A journal by a Regency gentleman? Colin Bridgerton, eat your heart out.

Dearest Polin rewatchers, we have been apart for far too long.
After four months, seventeen cities and zero letters from redheads with exquisite roobies, the tides of change have finally swept our sturdy pirate back to English shores. And it seems as though he's arrived with a new friend: the Emotional Support Curl.
As we swagger glove-first into the finest match of the year, we’re raising our lemonades in honour of fashion icons past, cold shoulders and texts that really should’ve stayed in drafts.
And thanks to Rae’s side hustle of making a profit out of one man’s desperation, we’ll be returning to the scene of the Polin crime for an entirely platonic love confession, a titillating double handshake and the formation of a rather splendid plan.
Doomed to fail spectacularly? Surely not. After all… are they not friends?

Filming leaks falling down like pieces into place...
The cameras are rolling. The churro truck has opened up. It's time to pack Gregory off to Eton and welcome the newest family to town as we celebrate the beginning of Season 4 production.
While Portia and Colin battle it out over the Featherington ledgers, we pull up our silver gloves, borrow a few items out of Westley's wardrobe and steal away into the gardens for a late-night rendezvous, (not so) far away from prying eyes.
And as we dream up family plans for the festive season, we recruit a pedagogical gerbil to help us track down a missing Viscountess, a Succubus of the First Water, and everyone's favourite Plant Daddy.
Our very first look of a midnight masquerade? That's fifty points to Ravenclaw.

After a summer swimming in the Polin seas, we’re almost ready to pack up our seashells, buy Pen a stick of rock and head home for an Autumn of filming crumbs and rewatches.
But before we lock up our trunks and board the boat back to Mayfair, we have one last task on our hands: ardently, fervently and loudly declaring our Season 3 episode rankings.
Which episode left our Polin hearts soaring inches above the ground like a slow-moving hot air balloon? Is that really the Grim Reaper toasting marshmallows with us at the Floral Ball? And why oh why is Lechi crying again on a Zoom call?
We wish you the best of luck, S3 Episodes. To the field of combat we go.

Sigh no more, listeners, sigh no more. The Lady in Silver has been found at last.
But there’s no rest for the Wicked as Beans has found herself with a new mystery on her hands: we don’t even know which rare Bavarian text it is, but we’re looking for it.
As we scour the shelves of Shakespeare & Co. for the elusive tome, we’ll also be searching for answers to burning Season 3 questions about bandaged flashbacks, Italian Contessas and babies named Ginger.
Elsewhere, we try to recover from the shock of finding Kanthony inside their own home by sitting down to talk Regency mommy bloggers, Daddy issues and whether Mr Bridgerton said he’d buy the flowers himself for the Featherington estate.
And as August(us Gloop) slips away into a moment of time, we’ll be reminiscing over summer love at the Polin wedding and the cryptic identity of a most important guest.
Fife or not Fife: that is the question.

The Ton’s out for summer. But over here, the Class of 1815 is still very much in session.
In the first of our S3 Q&As, we’ll be turning on our Regency location settings, standing on Crumbs sentry and tackling the hard-hitting questions of the social season.
Which Soft Colin line still has us swooning? Which moonlight bisoux stole our hearts? And why can’t we stop ourselves from laughing at the bleakest moment in Polin history?
Elsewhere, we cool off from the heat by dipping our toes in the Season 4 waters, discussing a mysterious meeting at a masquerade and an urgent call for a tiny, unnamed redhead.
And as Colin gets a taste of his own carriage-flavoured medicine, we’ll be revisiting old, oblivious friends, mourning the missed moments of the season and confronting the most important question of all:
Who broke the heart of everyone’s favourite snake?

Paint brushes at the ready, dearest listeners. Just as we’re busy basking in the glow of our (finally) happily married Polin, it’s time to begin the next part of our journey.
While we search high and low for an elusive Lady in Silver, we take a quick dip in a lake with Benedict, stop by a silent Scottish castle to check in on Eloise’s sanity, and reminisce over Tudums of days gone by with a leprechaun and her pot of gold.
Benedict Bridgerton, you may run and hide from settling down – but a face will still pursue you. But who can name the face?
Certainly not us. But if anybody knows who she is, tell her we’re looking for her.

Budge up, Mr Bridgerton. We’re hopping in the carriage and this time we’ve got company.
Join us as we welcome the remarkable Archer Marsh to the podcast, composer of Season 3 covers “Give Me Everything”, “Confident” and “Lights.”
We’ll be following the journey from the tracks’ creation and their inclusion on the Bridgerton soundtrack, to the astonishing viral reaction from fans across the world.
And as we discuss an innocuous little carriage ride, we’ll be pondering over the power of music in storytelling and why although Pen might not have got everything, she certainly got enough.
Then when the carriage pulls up at Bridgerton House, Archer Marsh will also be sharing his perspective on hustling & hard work in the music industry, the need for bravery in creativity, and the essential art of letting go.
For everyone except Colin, that is. You keep holding on tightly to that rope, old friend.

Dearest Gentle listener, you may think we have been enjoying a much-needed respite from discussing Season 3 Part 2.
Alas, we have instead spent the week on the sofa, awake with thoughts of planned entrapments, secret dealings and sad rainbow fish.
Not to worry, we are back. The tree of Tu-doom may still be shaking in the Polin winds but we are on hand to raise a toast to no-longer-nameless judgy mamas, the music licensing gods and the succubus of the first water.
So grab the last chocolate macaron and lie down. This most anticipated love story is finally complete and we're skipping to the final chapter.

It's the final crumbdown.
As we prepare to hang up our archaeology tools for the last time, we take one more walk down crumbs memory lane during the fabled, long-awaited, highly-unanticipated Block 4 Part 2.
Yes, the Prodigal Block has returned at last as we sweep up the few remaining crumbs from Season 3 filming and lock in our final predictions for Episode 7 and 8 with mere hours to spare. We'll be scattering blue and yellow confetti in celebration of some very special nuptials, pondering the future with Eloise on the garden swings and stopping by the kitchens for a salaciously instructive installment of Baking with Legumes.
So join us as we wave goodbye to the years of waiting, reminisce over fandom days gone by and strain our eyesights one final time on this hallowed Part 2 eve.

We'll also be helping Colin rearrange furniture and popping the kettle on for the most tragic cup of tea since...uh, Colin's previous most tragic cup of tea.

Tick tock on the clock, but the bounty don't stop, no...
As our carriage pulls up outside Bridgerton House, it's time to carefully adjust our dresses and head inside to face the music (3/4 is far sweeter) as we react to the Season 3 Part 2 teaser trailer.
While we wait for Pen to hurry up and tell Colin a tiny piece of information, we decide to kill a little time by taking a trip across town to pull down dust sheets and corsets alike.
And as the hunt for Lady Whistledown finally gets underway, we’ll be dancing at a flowery ball, squinting at some dodgy printing and pulling out our cow-culators to figure out just how much the Monarchy has been impacted by the cost-of-living crisis.
Time to make haste, Penelope. The clock on the mantlepiece is ticking and midnight is fast approaching.
And if all else fails? Well, there’s nothing quite like the good old art of the swoon.

We’ll be slipping into studies to caress a pirate’s coat, sprawling ourselves over the yellow sheets of a very Pensive man and following a redhead into *checks notes* tents, gardens, ballrooms, trees, carriages and uh, you get the idea.
And as our oldest friends face crushing-by-slow-moving basket on a picnic blanket and crushing-by-fast-moving-friendzoning under a willow tree, we finally get the long-awaited answer as to which Mayfair family will have that carriage cleaning bill dropping on their doorstep.

In this special bonus episode brought to you from the cutting room floor, we dust off our evidence boards and attempt to piece together Season 3 Part 1 using only a folder of stills, a handful of crumbs and the ramblings of some very tired co-hosts.
We’ll be debating the skills of a 14-year-old archer, measuring the circumference of ever-expanding sleeves and enquiring just how easy it is to transport full-length mirrors to country estates. (Asking for a friend-to-lover.)

Welcome to May. Welcome to chaos. We'd tell you to get in the circus tent but this one's already occupied by Pen's finger lickin' good crumb and the final shred of Colin's sanity.
In this emergency Weekly Crumb, we'll be sprinting outside palaces with Colin, wiping the tears away from a distressed Enchanted Pen and squinting very hard at blurry pieces of paper. The more things change, eh?
Get the carriage cleaning crew at the ready, Footman John. Things are about to get rocky.

Pritt Sticks at the ready, dear listeners. It's the morning after the night before and we've got a lot on our breakfast plates.
In the last of our book reread episodes, we'll be sneaking an extremely dishevelled Penelope back to Mayfair, hastily moving up the dates of a small but magical wedding and taking a quick trip to some oddly brown Highlands.
And as our beloved newly-weds find themselves in a rather sticky situation, we'll be stopping by The National Archives to enquire just how many cows one tiny blackmail plot can get you.
Worry not, dear listeners. Because just when it seems all has come unstuck, we have a feeling one assuredly, fervently, loudly tack-tic might just swoop in to save the day.
Did somebody say My Wife?

Get up, dear listeners. We're taking you to church.
In our third reread episode, we'll be chasing hired hacks down Fleet Street, contemplating the logistics of carriage-based activities and indelicately faceplanting onto the streets of Mayfair.
We'll also be turning up bright and early to the Tuesday Featherington family meeting, fetching watercolours with Felicity and staring out of rainy windows with a plate of smoked salmon sandwiches.
And as a triumphant engagement ball turns sour, we'll be rummaging in the drawers for candles and moments of realisation.
Because, dear listeners, this was Penelope and this was love. But be warned: this kitten has claws and she's not afraid to use them.

Pack your bandages and earplugs – curtain’s up on the most melodious event of the season. Mozart, stand down. Lou Bega’s got this one under control.
In the second of our read-along episodes, we’ll be making puddles with Colin, taking First Aid lessons from Penelope and dipping our thermometers in half-hour old bath water.
Ahead of the weekend, we’ll be spending an unremarkable day sampling lemonade, squinting at inkstains and getting a little too excited on Mount Street.
She kissed him on a Friday, dear listeners. And it was glorious. (And probably tasted like cheese.)

Up, up, up and away, dearest listeners! It’s time to soar into the S3 trailer heavens at long last.
As our ship docks back in London, we’re trading sea for air as we float above Mayfair alongside an extraordinary balloon, a winged god and a sleepy-but-sturdy Bridgerton.
We’ll be enjoying splendid weather with Lord Wilding, laughing in the library with Blue Pen and attempting a little archaeological excavation of a broken Grecian column.
And as our leading man pulls the Uno Reverse card from the chaotic deck of romance tropes, we’ll be keeping our lanterns close-by as a tiny flame finally takes flight.
Rejoice, dear Polin fans. The lights are on and Colin Bridgerton’s home.

Hold onto your hats, dance cards and wallflowers, dearest listeners.
It's time to discuss the Season 3 promo that has wrought such chaos into our lives that even Book Colin would blush.
We'll be taking a trip to Hyde Park for a startling encounter on a blanket, having our dance cards filled by a hands-on Vegetarian and swooning over the long-awaited appearance of Enchanted Pen.
And if you're missing our dear thirdborn Bridgerton, then worry not. It seems a Wallflower's shoulder has finally defrosted thanks to the trailing hand of a much-loved pirate.
Hold on tight, Polinators. The Social Season is almost upon us and a splendid plan is underway. Show Notes

We’ll be taking a fatefully muddy ride through Hyde Park, uniting in the glee of matchmaking mamas everywhere and putting up the wet floor signs to mop up a rather concerning blob of Chantilly cream.
And as those April showers sprinkle their way across London, we’ll be taking our black parasols for a bittersweet trip across Berkeley Square as we head for afternoon tea with a very special Lilac Pen.
Orange Trees of Mayfair, watch your pots: Colin Bridgerton is back in town.

Just put your hand on the glass, dear listeners. It’s time to reflect on the latest Polin mirror-cle.
We’re starting with the gentleman in the mirror as he finally gets around to crossing off his two-hundred-year-old to-do list, before catching up with his good friend Pen and a most hardworking pair of fingerless gloves.
Meanwhile, Necklace Truthers arrive from across the fandom to ask the most important question of all: Mirror, Mirror in Pen’s room, is that her necklace from Tudum?
And just as our looking glasses are getting a little too steamed up, we find ourselves plunged into the Arctic Tundra courtesy of one very cold shoulder from a less-than-impressed wallflower.
Has all that Gruyère-ling self-reflection worked up an appetite, Mr Bridgerton? Well, do Comté the kitchens for a spot of evening caseiculture with Beans. Cheesemaking on a Polin podcast? You’d feta find a whey to brie-lieve it.

Pop the kettle on, the Brits are coming round for a cuppa.
We’ll be nibbling on a plate of Season 3 crumbs, including the current whereabouts of Colin’s emotional support curl, Penelope’s secret garden and the passing of some very special torches.
We’ll also be swinging by the drawing rooms of Grosvenor Square to squint at more blurry leaks and brew up a few loose leaf tea-ories about our favourite Regency nerds.
But who’s that swirling amongst the Earl Grey? Have we been sipping on a certain Greek elixir or is Colin Bridgerton just pleased to see us?
Drink up, dear listeners. After all, he’s just our cup of tea.

We’ll be clinging to the corners of the ballroom with a very sad wallflower, throwing back cocktails with the Lord Squad and twirling around the dance floor with a loved-up Viscountess.
And as we sip on our lemonades, we can’t help but wonder if It's Too Late for a certain Bridgerton to get to the ball on time or if he’s still hanging around that box of biscuits in Milan.

Pasta lovers, pack your bags. We're off to Milan.
But forget the Duomo and gelato, we're here to visit the Number 1 tourist attraction: Loved Up Polin in an Italian department store.

But rejoice, one and all. For Colin Bridgerton has finally taken his place at the side of his beloved: a box of Cook's famous butter biscuits. True love, united at last.
Oh, look. Hey Pen! You're here too!

Gather round, dear clowns. This is not a drill.
Join us for an emergency episode as we live react to the most coveted and mystical breaking crumb of all: the Season 3 release date. Or, should we say release dates. *Internal screaming*
We'll be sharing our initial thoughts and general bewilderment as we desperately try to get our heads around another chaotic day in the Polin Nation.
Bravery, my sweet...

Our dear Polin Archaeologists, it’s time to retrieve your excavation tools from storage because we’re heading off on another crumbs expedition.
Join us as we revisit the ancient wonders of July and August 2022, breaking open the Season 3 filming tombs and peering inside to see what Polin treasures we can find.
We’ll be unearthing relics from an intriguingly decorated ball, dusting off the feathers of a Bridgerton debut and standing in awe before the Holy Grail of all filming leaks: Pirate Colin.
We’ll also be venturing back into the Polin archive to consult the aged scrolls of casting announcements, social media posts and plot synopses before dragging all our crumbs into the Polin Lab for a post-excavation analysis, all in an attempt to piece together our predictions for Episodes 1 and 2 of Season 3.
Beware of pirates. Beware of clowns.

*Cue fireworks and sobbing at the window* Miracle of miracles, we have at long last reached the end of our Polin rewatch of S2E8, The Viscount Who Loved Me. Third time’s a charm, right?
In the afterglow of Kanthony’s happily ever after, we head back to Mayfair to say our goodbyes to a heartbroken Pen, a heartbroken Eloise, a heartbroken Benedict and…um, a pretty chipper Colin, actually.
Then, we jump through the time-space continuum for one final game of Pall Mall, where we trade in our yellow mallets for green, sigh over first love and swoon over our long-awaited Lilac Colin.
Elsewhere, we reminisce over the many Whistle Ups and Whistle Downs of the 1814 social season and spiral over, uh…spiralbound notebooks and stickers? Is that right? Let us just go check our notes.

*deep, deep sighs*
Notebooks at the ready, Polin fans, because Professor Colin Bridgerton is about to give us quite the educational experience during Part 2 of our Polin rewatch of S2E8, The Viscount Who Loved Me.
We’ll be joining Pen as she is enlightened by an array of important lessons, including the geography and topography of American states, the less-than-ideal consequences of your best friend uncovering your deepest secret, and what exactly is and is not in Fife’s wildest fantasies.
We’ll also be throwing back champagne with Colin, sighing over an astonishing but doomed waltz and quietly sobbing by a statue as we watch Colin smash Pen’s heart like it’s one of Cressida’s necklaces.
Yep, Dear Listeners. It’s time for THAT scene. If anyone needs us, we’ll be busy screaming into the Polin abyss.

All hail the mighty Biscuit Cushion – we have joyously arrived at Part 1 of our final-but-not-quite-final Polin rewatch of S2E8, The Viscount Who Loved Me. Yep, you heard us. We’re breaking our rewatch in half just like Colin will be breaking Pen’s heart at the Featherington Ball.
As the 1814 social season draws to a close, we begin our farewell tour of the ton, saying emotional goodbyes to Unnamed Modistes, Eloise’s friendships and Colin’s beloved baby blue jackets.
We’ll be defending the Featheringtons’ honour over at Will’s club, fawning over lovingly elevated objects at Bridgerton House and dusting off one last yellow dress as we prepare to relive the night that sank a thousand Polin ships.
Get ready, Polinators. Chaos Colin has entered the chat.

Hold onto your bannisters and toss your broken quills into the flames because it’s time for our (penultimate!) Polin rewatch of S2E7 Harmony.
We'll be trailing behind the scandal-hit Bridgertons during the Promenade of Shame, making midnight dashes to the Modiste’s and fighting our way through the crowds at the ever-popular Harmony Ball.
Elsewhere, we’ll be taking the week off from our Polin analysis and handing the reins over to the ton’s resident expert, Colin Bridgerton, who is here to explain to us all just how naturally his and Pen’s relationship has taken shape over the years.
Wait…did he just say relationship?! Someone get Freud on the line, pronto.

Pour yourself a celebratory drink and nab a piece of cake – we’re heading to the wedding of the season during our Polin rewatch of S2E6 The Choice.
As a hungover Colin ponders the plight of mankind, we join a bejewelled Penelope as she’s faced with a cockblocking Eloise and a most pleasing, stimulating, thrilling kind of torment.
Meanwhile, we’ll be mourning the one Polin mystery we may never solve, admiring an exquisite ruby necklace and turning over in our minds the events of a world-shifting conversation.
Fear not, listeners, he is beginning to believe that now.

Dearest Listeners, it's finally time to put all those crumbs to good use as we head to the lake to feed the ducks (and other assorted waterfowl) during our Polin rewatch of S2E5 An Unthinkable Fate.
As Colin frets over which cake to eat next from his plate of snacks, Pen frets over the state of her business and family affairs.
We also join our beloved pair at the Serpentine for a heart-to-oblivious-heart as Colin proves that telling the difference between ducks and swans is harder than we thought. An Ornithologist, he is not.
Elsewhere, we console ourselves over the latest Season 3 speculation and head on down to the circus to share a very special crack theory with the crowds.

Every Polin fan knows that unanswered questions make for the most pleasing, stimulating and thrilling kind of torment. But what better way to while away the Coming Weeks than by spiralling over those questions ourselves?
In this special Q&A episode, we'll be tackling Polin topics big and small, as we also contemplate our own fandom lives.
When will Colin find out about Lady Whistledown? When will Peneloise reconcile? Is a swan-shaped gravy boat really the best item on the Bridgerton set or have we finally lost our minds?
Pull up a chaise longue, rest your snacks on a biscuit cushion and prepare for clowning.

Dearest listeners, pack your copy of Flora Graeca and hop in the carriage to Kent because we're oiling our way right in to our Polin rewatch of S2E4 Victory.
As Pen sips on lemonade and tea at the Aubrey Hall garden party, we reluctantly accompany Colin for a trip down memory lane and a meeting of minds with everyone's favourite botanist.
Elsewhere, we get our pink dresses and empty dance cards ready for the Hearts & Flowers Ball, take a special tour of the orangery and endure a distressing adaptation of a Disney classic.
But dear listeners, do take care when dashing down the lawn - we hear there's a snake loose in the grass.

Worldly travellers, if it’s a clear Polin mind you seek then let us offer you quite the elixir during our rewatch of S2E3 A Bee in Your Bonnet.
As the Bridgertons fight it out over a rousing game of Pall Mall, we’ll be joining Colin for a very special tea party where we contemplate just how difficult life can be for single blades of grass.
Back in London, we’ll be forging new business alliances with Penelope, enjoying a splendid dinner with the Cowpers and celebrating the arrival of everyone’s favourite Unnamed Modiste.
Yellow mallets at the ready, dear listeners – to the field of combat we go!

Polin fans are united in their glee—Colin Bridgerton has returned from Greece! Join us as we head off to the races to celebrate the homecoming of our favourite thirdborn Bridgerton during our Polin rewatch of S2E2.
We'll be sighing over the Heart Eyes scene, admiring Colin's fencing skills and joining Pen for bridesmaid duties during the joyful union of a cheese-loving couple.
Elsewhere, our Polin hearts will soar as we learn more about the sacred letters, only for us to crash and burn as we relive that infamous Colin line. (He's innocent, Your Honour.)
Place your bets and hold onto your bows - we're in for a bumpy ride.

Dearest Listeners, dust off those giant white feathers and get ready to party like it's 1814 as we welcome in a brand-new social season during our Polin rewatch of S2E1, Capital R-Rake.
We'll be sneaking around London with our favourite Irish maid, trailing through daffodils with BFFs-'til-episode-8 Peneloise and musing on just how lovely Penelope looks in candlelight.
Elsewhere, our fangirl hearts squeal with joy as we stumble upon the Holy Grail of Polin lore: the scandalous thirdborn love letters - uh, we mean platonic correspondence. Right, Colin?
Speaking of, if anyone happens to see a guilt-ridden 6 ft tall gentleman with a newly-developed penchant for baby blue jackets, can you let him know we're looking for him? *

With true love matches, scandalous balls, dramatic confrontations and even a Polin dance or two, both seasons of Bridgerton pull at our heartstrings. But do you know which violin strings they pull at too?
In this special episode, we'll be taking a deep dive into the magical world of Bridgerton's music, all in the name of hunting down any Season 3 crumbs we can possibly find.
We'll be looking at how the music team work to create the world we know and love, revisiting our favourite Pen and Colin soundtrack moments and sharing our top picks from our personal Polin playlists.
And, finally, we'll be embarking on the most sacred of all quests: locking in our Season 3 soundtrack predictions. Take us to Polin church, indeed. The clowns are ready to clown.

Rejoice! It’s time to let mirth abound as we celebrate the end of the 1813 social season during our Polin rewatch of S1E8: After the Rain.
We’ll be clapping along to Colin’s astonishing performance of a fan-favourite tune, consoling Penelope as she receives some bittersweet news and assuredly, fervently, loudly declaring our love for all things Hastings Ball.
And then, to mark the end of our Season 1 Polin rewatch, all-out war breaks out as we furiously debate the meaning of a certain goodbye glance from our beloved pirate-in-training. Since Obvs is the one to write these episode descriptions, I’m here to tell you that I’m right and the others are delusional.
Farewell, Season 1. You’ve been one hell of a (carriage) ride. Altogether now: And let the catch, and let the catch, and let the catch and toast go rouuuuuuund…

Listeners, prepare to cry into your yellow bedding as we face the fallout of scandal during our Polin rewatch of S1E7 Oceans Apart.
As Pen navigates her family's ruined reputation, we'll be busy consoling a distressed Colin as he searches for answers (whilst also musing on exactly how much crying he will be doing in Season 3.)
When Colin's tears look this beautiful, perhaps we should tempt scandal more often?

Dearest listeners, we're wearing our black bows of mourning this week as we suffer our way through our Polin rewatch of S1E6, Swish.
As we learn that our definition of happy news is slightly different to Colin's, we follow Pen as she works against the clock to reveal the truth about Sir George and Marina.
And if that wasn't joyous enough, we also find time to attend the engagement dinner from hell. Grab your ear plugs and top up your drinks glasses - we'll all be needing it for this one.

Dearest listeners, we're in for one hell of a ride this week (and not the fun carriage kind) as we *gulp* our way through our Polin rewatch of S1E5 The Duke and I.
We'll be fiercely debating all things tomatoes, despairing with Pen as the plan to trap Colin takes a turn for the worse and screaming into the abyss as a certain thirdborn son comes up with a most splendid idea indeed.
Anyone else wondering why those wedding bells sound so much like a death knell? It's proposal time, baby.

Archaeologists of the Polin world, grab your trowels and brushes because we're off on our first-ever crumbs expedition! This episode, we'll be travelling back in time to March - June 2022 as we excavate the pre-production process and dig around for any Season 3 clues that are waiting to be uncovered.
We'll be delving deep into the Polin archive, brushing the dust off of cast interviews, announcements and other historical artefacts, all as part of our eternal quest to spiral and speculate our way to Season 3.
With our magnifying glasses in hand and the clown paint on our face, join us for the first instalment in our trip down crumbs memory lane.

It's the moment we've all been waiting for...it's Barb time, baby! Prepare to be scandalised as we head over to the sensuous Trowbridge Ball for our Polin rewatch of S1E4 An Affair of Honor.
We'll be celebrating every moment of a fan-favourite scene, despairing with Pen as her night goes from bad to worse and grabbing our seconds as we head off for an early morning duel.
What a barb, what an episode!

We'll be following Pen's debut into society, Colin's attempts at courtship and the arrival of a mysterious new gossip writer in the ton. With pining gazes, wretched sonnets and even a memorable dance at Vauxhall, what better way to mark the start of a new social season?
