Sifting Through the Fads and Facts Inside (and Outside) Modern Medicine
From ketogenic diets for cancer, weight loss, and longevity to “vampire” face lifts to O-shots to increase libido, erections, and orgasm in both males and females, there are a lot of exciting and encouraging life-saving and life-enhancing possibilities emerging inside (and outside) the medical arena today.
And, let’s face it, there’s also a lot of headline-grabbing fads that might look good on the surface, but may not be as reliable as touted. So, how do we know the truth? Who can we depend on to sift through the facts and the fads and give us a more reliable heads up on what we might want to put in and on our bodies than the media or drugs companies are prepared to offer us?
Over the years, one person I have always turned to for good, solid, well-researched information and advice is Naturopathic Physician, Dr. Donese Worden, who joins me this week to help us sift through some of the fads and facts that are currently garnering attention. So, if you want to know where much of the information that is currently emerging from both the mainstream and the not so mainstream medical arenas is coming from, how much of it is valid and/or can be trusted, what to believe and what to beware of, or indeed have questions about something you’ve been reading about or considering, join me this week for some answers you can rely on.
*While Dr. Worden cannot offer individual medical advice, If you have any topic, treatment, diet, drug, or innovation or you would like to know a little more about, send an email to
[email protected] with a few lines describing your interest and we will consider it for inclusion in our discussion.
