This week's episode is an education for Spence and Buzz as we chat with Method Spirits founder Cory Fitzsimmons to talk vermouth. This spirit is a key ingredient to many cocktails we all love, from Spence's beloved Manhattan, to Buzz's Boulevardier, to the WIS-centric Negroni. A key to a great beverage is quality ingredients, and having tried Method prior to recording, we can easily say it is up to the standard.
Cory walks us through his experience in bar tending and hospitality (by way of ND's school of architecture, so please excuse the trip down memory lane for these three Domers) and how his goal is to create a local product that still hits all of the right flavor notes for your favorite classic cocktail. The process is interesting, and the end result is one we would recommend trying for yourself!
