We had the pleasure of chatting with Lauren and Lorenzo from Lorier watches for the second time! Hot off the release of the much anticipated Hyperion they were able to walk us through how busy 2020 was for them from a release perspective, how they decided to revamp the different models, and their goals for 2021.
We had the opportunity to spend some time with their newly released dual crown Hydra II, and the three of us are huge fans of that model. Lauren and Lorenzo walked us through the design process for that model, what made the dual crown case more complex than usual (hint, acrylic) and some of the feedback they have gotten from the watchfam.
We also talk about their early 2020 trip to Hong Kong, and what this year has meant for the micro brand space when it comes to watch releases, prototyping, designing, etc.
Spence and Lauren also gripe about being lefthanded, and the struggle that us lefties go through when it comes to writing, notebooks, three ring binders, and baseball gloves. It is hard to believe that it has been just over 6 months since they were first on our podcast. It will definitely not be that long before these two return!
