Christina and Elle are late to the party, but they just watched two episodes of Love Your Enemy! They like it and feel like it is a great drama to watch right now because it is a light romantic comedy (from what they got from the first two episodes). 

Love Your Enemy is about two Ji-Wons whose families are rivals (Romeo and Juliet vibes-ish) and end up falling in love. What more can you ask for?! Christina & Elle talk about how they love the high school storyline and look forward to how this story unfolds.

Family By Choice has ended and EVERY SINGLE PERSON is sad about it (not to be dramatic…). This show focused on the importance of found family and how vital it is to have people in your life that will be there for you no matter what. 

In this review, Maddie & Christina go in detail discussing the second half of the show. They talk about the changes that happened 10 years later, they dissect San Ha and Ju Won’s relationship and how they feel about Hae-Joon & Dal. These characters are so lovable and you feel like you are apart of this family while watching.

Maddie & Christina have finished The King Eternal Monarch and what a ride (through multiple universes?) it’s been. The drama started out strong, but dwindled when it got closer to the ending. 

In this review, Maddie & Christina talk IN DEPTH about this show and what went wrong. This show had all the parts that make a kdrama great, but the ending really wasn’t it.

Their biggest takeaway: have only two universes and call it a day. NOTHING MORE, PLEASE. IFYKYK.

Love Next Door officially ended and the ladies needed to talk about this show ASAP! 

Love Next Door was a drama that had many unexpected turns and wasn’t the ‘romantic comedy’ that people were hoping for. What this drama did give the viewers was two love stories, Jung Hae-In’s puppy eyes, a family dynamic that was chaotic and warm, and the theme of how the impact of sharing your struggles with others helps you heal. 

In this episode, Maddie & Christina deep dive through episodes eight through sixteen and gush over Jung Hae-In & Mudflat Man (Christina is OBSESSED…and hoping to marry him). They will miss the iconic banter from the two leads and the paramedic’s epic love story with Dan-Ho and his sweet daughter. All the actors in this drama did a fantastic job and the ladies were sad to say good-bye to the show.

Christina & Elle gush about Hometown Cha Cha Cha to celebrate the three-year anniversary of this drama’s release! Both ladies find this show perfect and they absolutely adore the people of Gongjin that make the town so incredibly special.

They have also come to the conclusion that everyone deserves their own Chief Hong. Yes? YES.

In this episode, Christina & Elle discuss Hye-Jin and Chief Hong and how they remain to be one of their favorite kdrama couples of ALL TIME. They talk about all the precious villagers and how community and friendship is the backbone of Gongjin. 

If you are looking for a show to pull at your heartstrings while giving you a warm hug - this is the perfect show for you. You will fall in love with every single character and feel like you are apart of the Gongjin family by the end. HomeCha is a timeless drama that continues to be loved by so many.

It is FINALLY Lee Min-Ho TIME!! Maddie & Christina are watching The King: Eternal Monarch as their next throwback series! In this series, they find a drama that they both haven’t watched before (and the rest of the world has). They have done Reply 1988, Healer, and I’m Not a Robot.

This show was highly anticipated because of Shin Min-Ah, but the ladies are having a hard time understanding the dynamic between the two leads. Shin Min-Ah is great, but the character she plays (as of right now) is questionable. It also has been hard to pinpoint where the male lead is coming from.

Elle and Christina review Miss Night & Day and thoroughly enjoyed this drama. The mystery, the humor, the acting, and the overall charm of the show keep them watching.

In this episode, Christina & Elle talk about how much they loved Mi-Jin and Ji-Ung and how they wished there were more scenes of them together. They wished that the bestie ended up with kpop boy and really hope that the investigator doesn't keep getting scammed, ha!

MOON KANG-TAE BELONGS TO MOON KANG-TAE

Picture books, Mang-Tae, a castle, a Psychiatric hospital, perfect kiss scenes, beautiful music, lots of humor, interrupting deer, a HUGE reveal, and the most perfect and heartbreak porridge scene you will ever see — this is just a small taste of how beautiful this drama is. 

Christina FINALLY persuaded Maddie to watch It’s Okay to Not Be Okay (she has been begging her to watch it for years now). 

Maddie & Christina cannot rave enough about this drama and how much it pulls at everyone’s heartstrings. The Box Man, the Masked Boy, and the Emotional Princess must be protected at ALL COSTS. This show was just too good and adored by many.

The ladies love the leads, but find that everything else not involving them in the drama doesn’t need to be there. The ex-boyfriend is a huge red-flag, Ji-ah needs to advocate more for herself, and Kim Min-kyu with a K should attend a class to help him figure out the difference between robots and humans. 

All jokes aside, the leads are SO likable, and Maddie & Christina are WAITING for them to get together because human Ji-ah is pretty awesome (with her cute short hair, too).

Christina & Elle watched the first two episodes of Miss Night & Day and they like the premise so far! They love the leads (both young & old Mi-Jin) and find the male lead super swoony with all the umbrella-saving he does. The actress Lee Jung-Eun is doing a phenomenal job acting as twenty-eight-year-old woman.

In this Through Two, the ladies talk about how funny this show is, how they have empathy for the female lead, and contemplate on whether or not they will continue watching the drama since a new murder element has been introduced. 

One thing is for certain: Mi-Jin deserves EVERYTHING. PROTECT HER AT ALL COSTS.

Word of Advice: Don't marry Ji-Won's husband. ... Maddie, Elle and Christina have a lot of thoughts about Marry My Husband. Were they hooked on the first 11 episodes? Yes. Were they frustrated with episodes 11 - 16? Also, yes. .... The ladies talk about how Min-Hwan and Su-Min stole the show and how they were team "first villians" when Ji-Hyeok's ex-fiance entered the picture. (Why, just why?). They are still bitter that Ji-Hyeok pushed Ji-Won OUT OF HIS HOUSE right after they kissed and felt like it was hard for him to redeem himself after that. They discuss how the story shifted in a direction that didn't seem necessary, how Ji-Won's character drastically changed, and how this show could have been 12 episodes. Period. ... Best part? Reply 1988's ending decisions have left Maddie and Christina with a sour taste in their mouths because of LIPS and his outcome (JUSTICE FOR LIPS IYKYK). Besides that, this memorable drama continues to remain a top contender and has left a lasting impression on many KDrama watchers for all the right reasons. It's a beautiful show that people continue to talk about.

From the mouth of Maddie, their review of this drama is, "We... we.... we liked it? We liked it. Yes, we liked it. We liked it!" In other words, Maddie and Elle totally dug this drama, but it won't come out on top as one of their favs. Maddie fell in love with Kang San but also with he possessed a little more gumption. Elle loved "Dimples" (AKA Yoo-ha) and was glad he didn't turn evil. And both Maddie and Elle were surprisingly pleased with how hot the Watchman turned out to be (ummm hello black triangle hat!!!!)
