The next major incident was the first immigration to Abyssinia which is in Africa. When these tactics of torture and humiliation continued at the hands of the pagans, the Prophet ﷺ suggested to the Sahaba of migrating to Abyssinia. One has to imagine how difficult and utterly demotivating was the situation in Mecca for them to prefer going to Abyssinia over staying in Mecca. What were the wisdoms of choosing Abyssinia as the safety net? Listen intently and be mesmerised by the sheer intellect of our Prophet ﷺ.
