Featuring Phil Edwards:

Dr Edwards studied English at Cambridge and worked in IT and the media for several years before gaining an MA and PhD from the University of Salford. His doctoral research, published as More Work! Less Pay! in 2009, used qualitative and quantitative data to analyse the growth and decline of radical social movements in 1970s Italy. He came to Manchester Metropolitan University in 2010 after working at the University of Manchester for five years, and has published widely on counter-extremism and the rule of law, as well as teaching on extremism and restorative justice.
