David Broder is Jacobin’s Europe editor and a prolific historian of French and Italian communism. Most recently, he's authored Mussolini's Grandchildren and First They Took Rome, about the rise of the Fratelli d'Italia and the Lega, respectively, and he is the translator of such works as Mario Tronti's Workers and Capital and Jean Paul Sartre's What Is Subjectivity, among others.
