50th Sutra Chapter I
तज्जः संस्कारोऽन्यसंस्कारप्रतिबन्धी
tajjas-saṁskāro-‘nya-saṁskāra
pratibandhī
tajja = arise from
saṁskāra= latent and subtle impressions, memories, and habitual tendencies
saṁskāra= subtle, mental impressions
anya= different, other
pratibandhī = contradictory, that which obstructs, blocks, cancels, neutralises, nullifies
The subtle impressions born of that cosmic intuitive wisdom cancel all other samskaras.
Then spontaneity flows and thoughts and actions are instantaneous and correct. Being in the present moment is total. The habit of such spontaneity prevents the reappearance of thought based on memory and reasoning.
Remaining available, present and open enables one to see clearly – immediately.
The voice of the soul becomes the guiding force in all of life’s endeavours.
