Derek & Michelle Loperfido

In this episode, I got the chance to talk to Derek and Michelle Loperfido about the church they Pastor, which happens to be the church I grew up in. Derek and Michelle took over Lighthouse Community Fellowship in 2015 from Chris and Carol Ball. Now name Freedom Life Church we had discussions on what that transition looked like for them and what God has done since.

Derek and Michelle have faithfully served this church family for over 20 years and have been the Senior Pastors since January 2015.

Derek has a unique and captivating way of communicating the scriptures using stories, humor and practical application. Michelle has an incredible way of hosting the presence of God as she cultivates the worship culture at Freedom Life Church.

Together, the cry of their heart is that people would experience and live in the freedom that only comes from God. They also have a tremendous passion to see people walking in all that God purposes and desires for them. They have three beautiful children, Abby, Maryn, and Evan and reside in Wolcott, NY.
