Today we're talking about the Flight response to stress! This is a very common response and can show itself as avoiding, distracting, and procrastinating. We'll learn about how this response might be useful when confronted with a physical danger, but how the emotional and mental dangers that we most often encounter in our modern lives can't be run from.
This stress response is based in fear and lives in the Root Chakra. When we're unbalanced here or chronically stressed, the blocks that we experience could even be holding us back from owning our true self and living authentically. We'll discuss two ways to help reduce our stress perception - facing and grounding - and why it's so important that we do so as soon as possible (no procrastinating!)
