157: Solar Plexus Chakra Agency - The Second "A" of Healing (from Dr. Gabor Mate)

The healing continues this week as we explore Agency, the second of the "As" Dr Gabor Mate offers in his book, The Myth of Normal. Agency is directly related to the Solar Plexus Chakra basic right of being able to act on your own behalf for your highest good. We'll learn how the skill of responding allows us to be sure we're showing up in the world in a way that aligns with our energy and values, as well as how we can have agency even when we don't have control of our circumstances. We'll also revisit boundaries (see episodes 44, 147, and 148 for more) and why a considered "yes," even when it is uncomfortable is authentic and important.
