Foods for the Root Chakra
The first chakra is the root chakra, located at the base of the spine. It is associated with the color red, the earth element, and is energetically responsible for grounding, security, and survival. It is very much physically concerned with the structure and form of the legs and hips to keep us grounded and rooted to the earth. We'll talk about which foods serve those needs today!
Foods for the Sacral Chakra
The sacral chakra is located a few inches below the navel. It is associated with the orange color, the water element, and is energetically responsible for creativity and emotions. Physically, it is concerned with the reproductive organs, which play a significant role in creation. Sometimes we need more or less energy here, or different kinds of energy, so we'll talk about how to use your nutrition to find the energetic shift you want.
