’You’re Not Allowed To Say The ’S’ Word – A Heartstopper Podcast’ is the small Pod which is big on heart and HUGE on Heartstopper! Host Luke Sibson is joined by the Yellow and Blue Crew – a wonderful group of young, and not quite as young, folks – as they rewatch every episode of the hit Netflix series ’Heartstopper’ and share their thoughts, feelings and their own Heartstopping experiences. Join them each week as they take a different episode of Heartstopper, analyse it, maybe sometimes have a little cry about it, and pick out favourite lines, top fashion picks and those moments that made our hearts flutter the most. Look out for bonus episodes with special guests and deeper discussions. Keep in touch on Insta to share your thoughts, ask questions or perhaps even guest on future episodes: @mr_s_teaches or @flx_wrestler

This one may require an apology...
Against our better judgment, and all advice, we have decided to share with you some of the bits that we absolutely could not include in our discussions about series 2 of Heartstopper. Don't worry, there won't be any obscene or offensive language, but expect stumbles, fumbles, childish behaviour and A LOT of very heavy innuendo. We just hope that this doesn't alter your opinions of us and that you come back for more episodes of You're Not Allowed to Say the 'S' Word. Be warned, this is definitely a blooper collection for ages 15+.
If you feel the need to tell us off for our terrible behaviour, then you can do so on our Facebook group or on Insta: @aheartstopperpodcast
Join Luke, Ellie, Finn and Indigo for a full de-brief on Series two, discussing thoughts and feelings on the series as a whole. The crew will be be sharing their top music picks, heroes and villains of the series, reviewing their favourite moments and much more.

This week, we have chosen some of our favourite moments, be they funny, emotional or reflective, either from, about or inspired by episodes 5 - 8 of Heartstopper series 2. So, settle in and enjoy!

Thank you for your patience in waiting for this episode over the past weeks. We are very pleased to finally bring you this episode, but we begin this week by sharing some news with you all which will explain our absence. This week, we take on topics such as school survival games, giving people the time they need and 'she who must not be named' all whilst picking apart the episode that brings us to the halfway point of series 1.
Your new playlist tracks are:
What's It Gonna Be? by Shura
Heart by Flor
We'd love it so much if you could drop us a like, review or share and tell all of your friends! Swing by and say hi on Insta: @mr_s_teaches or flx_wrestler
IT'S ALL TOO MUCH!
We have some very strong responses as we discuss the second half of episode 3. The conversation goes deep with talk about the daily fears for those living outside of the binary, finding your place in the world and yet more dirty shoes.
Absolutely phenomenal songs to add to the playlist this week:
Clearest Blue by Chvrches
Alaska (Toby Green Remix) by Maggie Rogers
Keep the love, and awesome contributions, coming through Insta: @mr_s_teaches or @flx_wrestler and feel free to leave reviews and share with your friends via your Podcast apps.
Why am I like this?
We wrap up our breakdown of episode 2 which means we finally get to discuss the song, and the moment, that have been haunting us for 2 weeks!
We also talk queer representation on TV from the past 25 years, having friends you can be open around and punctuating text messages.
The iconic song from the end of this episode is:
Why Am I Like This? by Orla Gartland.
Feel free to add it to your Heartstopper playlist and listen to it on repeat like Luke and Indigo have!
If you're enjoying listening to us talk and talk then please 'like' the podcast, perhaps leave a review, tell all your friends and fellow Heartstopper fans and most of all, drop in to the Insta: @mr_s_teaches or @flx_wrestler.
Thank you so much to all of the new Yellow and Blue Crew members who have already stopped by to say 'hi'!
Thanks for coming back!

You'll have to join us next week for the rest of our thoughts about this amazing episode.
In the meantime, check out the songs mentioned from this episode:
Sappho by Frankie Cosmos
Girls by girl in red
Dance with Me by beabadoobee
