UFOs part 15! This episode is packed with historical information in the traditional Marty style. Prompted by the upcoming congressional hearings on the new whistleblower information about a possible program called "Immaculate Constellation", Marty leads us through more than 5 decades of history to provide a much more clear understanding of what this program may be involved with, and how it came to be.

We discuss some very interesting new developments in the maverick research being done on the ancient stone vases from Egypt. Ben and Russ took a trip to Florida to get some fragments of vases examined using a Scanning Electron Microscope. No copper was found, but there were traces of other metals that the ancient Egyptians are not supposed to have had access to.

Martin takes us through more of his research into alignments of the megalithic structures in the UK, demonstrating that some of these monuments may be aligned with each other across vast distances, implying that there could have been an overall plan for all of them, rather than simple random placement.
We also look at some alignments of sites with the word "Devil" in the name, and how those may be correlated with churches named after St. Michael.
Thanks to Troy for the excellent episode art!
Martin returns for the second part of his presentation on his research into the possibility that at least some of the megalithic landscapes in the UK are enormous star maps that span many miles.
This episode is heavy on the visuals, so be sure to check the YouTube version so you can see the images Martin is referencing.
Stay tuned for part 3, which we will post just before we depart for Egypt!

In this episode, we read from the five papers recently published by the Comet Research Group in their new journal, about evidence for an airburst that destroyed Abu Hureyra ~12,800 years ago, and comparisons of impact proxies at Meteor Crater to materials found at known nuclear test sites. There is also a paper about a possible impact or airburst much more recently, around 700BC, over Kansas, that was witnessed by the native american Pawnee.
We also discuss the new paper about Gunung Padang, a megalithic mound in Indonesia that has evidence it's earliest building phase may be as much as 24,000 years old.

Drew joins us for the final episode on his collection of tales about little people, fae folk, and pygmies, this time from the Americas. It is amazing to hear the striking similarities with stories from the other side of the world.

We discuss some recent scientific discoveries in detail, reading from articles and the source papers about ancient solar storms that caused a massive increase in Carbon 14 in the atmosphere, and fossil prints at White Sands that definitively breaks the "Clovis First" model of the peopling of the Americas.
In the final segment we discuss a bit about where our minds are at regarding all these mysteries, as well as future plans for exploration on the podcast and in the field.

Heather is also an accomplished astrologer. We discuss the connections between these different techniques, and the philosophical implications of the existence this kind of access to information.
Thanks to Troy for the episode art!
This week Drew takes us through the Arthur Conan Doyle saga with the fairies, and how he fell for hoaxed photographs....but we also read some of Doyle's writings on the subject of fae encounters, and they seem entirely rational. We then spend some time reading and discussing the topic of Homo Floresiensis, also known as the "hobbits" of the island of Flores. There are tales of encounters with "little people" that persist on this island to this day, despite the fact that the fossil evidence of these "hobbit" people is at least 12,000 years old, and perhaps as old as 50,000 years.
We then move on to tales from Japan, with very similar themes, trickster beings that can be beneficial as long as the humans interacting with them abide by their word.

Some of you will have seen/heard some of this material before, as we went through it in a much less refined form in Episode 243. But this version is much more concise, and it has new observations as well as some helpful diagrams. It definitely relies on the visuals, however, so be sure to watch the YouTube version! https://youtu.be/18f_fHwWm30

Luke is an Anthropology student who specializes in the study of the ancient Maya. He is also one of the presenters for the Cosmic Summit. When we heard what Luke was going to talk about at the Summit, we decided we had to get him on the show. We contacted him, and it turned out he was right in our area, so he drove out to join us in person in the Tangent Cube to talk about his background and his experiences traversing the deep jungles of Mexico and Belize, looking for lost Mayan ruins.

We went live on youtube again for another Listener Communications episode, with Laura(SnakeWife) in studio. Thank you all for the wonderful emails, maybe soon we will actually get caught up!
We went live on YouTube to discuss our recent trip to Turkey with Ben from UnchartedX. We talk about Gobekli Tepe and the popular narrative that has been built around the site, and the newer scientific information that is being published that changes what archaeologists think about the site. We also discuss Karahan Tepe, Sogmatar, Nemrut Dagi, and the general area of Turkey around the city of Sanliurfa.
Executive Producers: Troy Peter Shell Johnathan Bracken NewPhaze
We are joined by John from Living Dreams Mexico to talk about the Maya, their long history, and the development of their culture and building styles. John runs a tour company in Mexico and is very familiar with many of the Mayan sites, and he gives us a lesson in the basic Mayan history and the associated architectural styles. We also discuss a bit about Mayan theology, astronomy, and the connection with the Olmecs.
After the interview with John, we give an Ag update and tackle some emails.
We went live on Youtube to talk about the amazing sites we visited in Turkey, and to show some of our video footage and photos. We discussed Nemrut Dagi, Gobekli Tepe, Karahan Tepe, Sogmatar, and more.
If you want to see the video with all the images and footage, check it out on our YouTube Channel: https://youtube.com/live/utTC8_XPDjU

We are back in the cube from our trip to Turkey, discussing the culture of the country, the beautiful city of Sanliurfa, and the many amazing ancient sites we visited.
After an overview of the trip itself and some brief discussion of other sites like Karahan Tepe, Harran, and Sogmatar, we get into some details about Gobekli Tepe that we observed, as well as some of what we learned from reading the scientific literature associated with the site.
As always, there is more to come. Enjoy!

We're about to leave for Turkey and we have so many great emails from listeners to catch up on before we go, we decided to tackle some of them in a live-to-youtube broadcast. Once again this was a lot of fun, thanks to everyone in the chat and all the superchat donations.
This will be the last of the regular episodes until we get back from Turkey. Meanwhile, check our youtube channel for livestreams, the discord for pics, vids and boots-on-the-ground updates, and maybe even the RSS feed for audio uploads, if we can manage it.
Also, as was mentioned during the show, Russ/Brothers of the Serpent now has an "affiliate link" for purchasing a livestream ticket for the Cosmic Summit event. Use the link below to get a ticket and also support us! Thanks!
With our trip to Turkey coming soon, we sit down to record this episode with Gobekli Tepe on our minds, and this leads to a discussion about the origins of civilization. What came first, the temple, or civilization? How do hunter gatherer people become farmers and ranchers?
Obviously, we don't have the answers. But we work through our thoughts in this episode, and it will be interesting to see how much we learn, and how that will change what we think now, after we see Gobekli Tepe for ourselves.
We tried something new with this episode and streamed it live to the Youtube channel. It was fun, thanks to everyone who participated in the chats(and donated!!) We read lots of emails and played some music and enjoyed ourselves immensely. We hope you enjoy it as well.

Ben from UnchartedX joins us to discuss the amazing high quality scan data of a pre-dynastic Egyptian stone vase. Ben has discussed this object, the data from the scan, and the implications of the staggering precision evident in the manufacturing process several times on his channel. Since the STL file of the data has been made available for download on the UnchartedX website, many people from around the world have been performing their own analysis of the vase, and we discuss some of the results of that on this episode, as well as some interesting results that Kyle has discovered on his own in his attempt to better understand the initial analysis techniques used by professional metrologists Alex Dunn and Nick Sierra.
There is a lot of visual data being referenced on this episode, so be sure to check out the YouTube version(it should be out within a few days of the publishing of this audio).

Another UFO conversation, this time with Darren and Graham from Grimerica joining us in a swapcast, and of course Marty Garza as a guest, making it more of a round table discussion.
We talk UFOs, coverups, government and academic involvement in the subject, physics, secret projects, and more. A lot of the conversation was in regard to the JRE episode #1945 with Eric Weinstein as well, if you're interested in the UFO topic and haven't listened to that episode yet, go listen to it!
The second half of the conversation with Grimerica and Marty will be available on our Patreon feed, or on the Grimerica Outlawed feed.
You can get more Grimerica here: https://grimerica.ca/
Despite being out of town on vacation, Marty Garza joins us remotely for the first half of the show to discuss the current events regarding the objects that have been sighted and shot down over the Americas. We discuss possibilities, ideas, speculation, and conspiracies surrounding these objects. Marty also talks about a sighting he had while driving on a remote desert highway on his way to his Vegas vacation. He stopped his vehicle and managed to get some video with his phone, which is included in the video version of this episode.

The final part of this (long) book report series. We finish up Hapgood's thoughts on evolution and how the idea of repeating crustal displacements might fill some gaps in the understanding of the process, then move on to the final chapter for Hapgood's conclusion, and suggestions for future research. We also read from some of the many notes and addendums following the main body of the book, including some correspondence and meetings with Einstein, work on the physics of the axial stability of a rotating sphere, and more. There is a lot of great information in this section of the book, much of which we did not discuss. We really do recommend you all get a copy so you can read it for yourselves.

We continue exploring the fascinating information in Charles Hapgood's book, Path of the Pole, starting this week with a detailed look at pleistocene deposits in South America that contain enormous amounts of megafauna and, sometimes, human remains. In caves, valleys, and massive mud deposits, these fossil remains speak of a geologically recent catastrophic event.
We then move on to Hapgood's discussion on the subject of evolution, and how his crustal displacement theory may help to fill in gaps in the explanatory power of natural selection and mutation.

We are joined on this episode by Marty Garza, guest and researcher from the UFO series, and Seriah Azkath, host of the excellent podcast Where Did the Road Go, for a full length roundtable discussion on the topic of UFOs. We start with the current state of things in the UFO/UAP subject, then the conversation morphs into a much more broad discussion on the nature of the phenomena itself.
You can find Seriah's podcast here: https://wheredidtheroadgo.com/
We continue our in-depth reading and discussion on Charles Hapgood's Path of the Pole, finishing up the section on megafauna extinctions in North America at the end of the last ice age, and moving into evidence for massive geological upheaval in South America in the recent past. Hapgood talks about the Altiplano area of Peru and Bolivia, Lake Titicaca, and Tiahuanaco, all of which show signs of being involved in an enormous geological uplift that brought the lake from contact with the ocean to its present location far above sea level.

George Howard joins us to discuss his knowledge of the Alaskan Pleistocene bonebeds we were reading about in Path of the Pole. George has a lot of interesting information about these deposits, including a Comet Research Group study on cosmic material recovered from sediments embedded in the bones themselves.
We also discuss a similar massive bonebed right here in Texas that George has known about for many years. For various reasons, these bonebeds haven't really been properly studied, but maybe that will change in the near future...

Back to the book report! We had a great time in Egypt, and there are more Egypt episodes coming, but meanwhile we still have to complete Charles Hapgood's Path of the Pole. This week we complete the section on mountain building, continental drift, and crustal composition, and move into chapter ten, which is about the extinction of the Pleistocene megafauna.

Laura joins us in studio again for a Listener Communications episode. Thanks to all of you who have written in with your questions, comments, and stories about how you found the podcast!
We are joined in studio by Laura for more discussion on the 2022 Egypt trip. We talk about what we learned, further observations we made, and plans for the future. Laura asks us about the goals we had for this trip and if we accomplished any of them...which we did....mostly. Kyle talks about mapping the Serapeum and jumping in and out of the boxes, checking the interiors and using resonance to get rough measurements. We also discuss the statues, the differences in skill and style you can see between them, and the possibility that the large object that was being cut out at the Aswan Quarry might have been a rough block for a standing statue.
We're getting back into the normal swing of things here at the SnakeBros Institiute, so we finish up with some Space Weather news and a few emails, and a 1Up box present for Laura.
Thanks very much to everyone who supports the show! We have the following Producers for this episode:

Marty Garza and Chuck Kizina join us for this episode, discussing their observations and speculations from the Egypt trip.
Marty, who has been on the show many times for the UFO episodes, has decades of experience with engineering from his years in the Monster Truck industry. Chuck is a geologist by education, specializing in planetary science, and has a lot of experience in stone cutting and shaping.
There will be a video version of this episode coming out within the next couple of days, so if you want to see the images Marty was showing toward the end, look for it on our YouTube channel!
We're back from our epic three week trip in Egypt! We learned so many things and explored many new places. We have Ben from UnchartedX on with us to discuss some of the sites we visited and our evolving thoughts on what we learned. There is so much to discuss, expect more Egypt episodes in the coming weeks!

Note: We are leaving for Egypt, this will be the last normal episode for a few weeks!
In Part 7 of our deep dive into Charles Hapgood's The Path of the Pole, we continue the discussion of the mysteries of "orogenesis" or mountain building. What forces can cause the enormous uplifts of so much rock? What is the cause of the numerous "basalt plateaus", where enormous amounts of magma poured out from underground and covered hundreds of square miles in layers of basalt hundreds of feet thick? These questions and more are described in detail by Hapgood, in this week's episode.

Continuing our deep dive into Charles Hapgood's The Path of the Pole, we discuss the evidence that advances and retreats of the massive Pleistocene ice sheets in North America and Europe were apparently in opposition, such that whenever there was an advance in Europe, for example, there was a retreat of ice in North America, and vice versa. Hapgood points to this as evidence that these advances and retreats were not caused by global cooling or warming, but perhaps they may have been caused by lithosphere displacement. Near the end of the episode we start in on "orogenesis" or the process of mountain building, and the mysteries of how the world's enormous mountain chains came to be.

Below are some excellent images of the fossil human footprints at White Sands, evidence that humans were in North America ~20ka, as provided by listener Greenman in an email we read in the last segment of the show. If you can't see the images, check our website.
Getting into the depths of the Path of the Pole in our ongoing book report. We talk about volcanism and its possible role in drastically affecting climate during catastrophic crustal shift periods, causing all the glacial and interglacial periods we see evidence for in the recent glaciation.
Hapgood also details evidence showing the timeline of the advance, retreat, and complete disappearance of the last ice age, and how this timeline is very short, meaning the disappearance of the ice cannot be explained by standard slow-moving geological processes.

Part 4 of our deep dive into Charles Hapgood's The Path of the Pole. This week, we look at evidence for a warm arctic during the last ice age, with islands currently within the arctic circle showing evidence for much warmer climates in the late pleistocene. We also read about evidence from other key places around the world having climates that align with the hypothesis of a north pole at Hudson Bay. Hapgood also briefly discusses Maps of the Ancient Sea Kings and the Oronteus Finaeus map.

Part 3 of our deep dive into Charles Hapgood's The Path of the Pole. This week, we look at more evidence of past pole configurations different from the present, as well as evidence against the idea that in the past, the earth spent long periods of time with a uniformly warm or cold climate, which was one of the attempts to explain away evidence for warm climate flora and fauna in what are now polar regions, and evidence for polar conditions in what are now tropical and sub tropical areas.

The long-awaited part 10 of our UFO series with Marty Garza is actually the first in a subseries of episodes exploring more of the topic of what kinds of "technologies" have been gleaned from interactions with the phenomena of UFOs and otherworldly entities. How much does this topic really overlap with the occult? With ancient myths of gods, demi gods, "demons", "angels", and "ancestor spirits"? This episode we start with strange psychological effects of polar exploration, take a look at large studies of strange and "paranormal" occurrences by Russian and German scientists in the era leading up to the world wars, and how these studies seem to have affected the course of history moving forward.
More on this subject to come in future UFO episodes!
Executive Producer of this episode: The Grimerica Show (thanks guys!)
Part 2 of our deep dive into Charles Hapgood's book, The Path of the Pole. This week we cover more of Charles' ideas on how the crust may have moved catastrophically, as well as the possible evidence for drastically different arrangements of continents in the distant past, such as evidence for large glacial masses in what are now tropical areas in India and Africa.

After our interview with Maartin from MarioBuildreps about ancient sites possibly being aligned to previous north pole positions on the earth, we decided we should take a deep dive into Charles Hapgood's book, The Path of the Pole, and look at historical research into this topic. The second edition of this book, published in the 1970s, is over 50 years old at this point, and is a revised edition of the 1958 printing of the original work, Earth's Shifting Crust. It's certain that geophysical science has progressed since then, but it is still worth looking at the state of the art at the time.

Executive Producer: Anne who Knits
Conversation on the main topic starts in the second half of the episode.
It's the end of August, and for us, it is the harvest season. We discuss this year's harvest of the grapes and the beginnings of this season's winemaking. Kyle reads a few news stories and we discuss those, then in the second segment Russ reads a long story from the Mysterious Universe website about four cases of strange mass animal deaths.
In the second half of the show, Kyle talks about the "philosophy of narrative", how common stories have a powerful influence on people and culture. How much have ancient mythologies influenced us? We also talk about the ability to focus on one thing versus the need to pay attention to the big picture, and how to balance these two ways of looking at the world, and how that connects to ancient mysteries, structures, and mythology.

We dive back in to The Character of Physical Law by Richard Feynman, again using short clips pulled from the lectures themselves and reading excerpts from the book. This episode we focus mostly on the second lecture, "The Relation of Mathematics to Physics", where Feynman talks about how Nature seems to follow sets of mathematical rules, and how those mathematics might be related--at least in some cases--to large numbers of simple processes in the physical universe.
Near the end of the episode we start on the third lecture, "The Great Conservation Principles", discussing the various "conservation" laws in physics such as the conservation of charge, the conservation of energy, etc.
At the beginning of the episode we also take a quick look at the working relationship between Tycho Brahe and Johannes Kepler, their backgrounds, and the standard history of their story. Jahannah recently got involved with the team from the "Builders of the Ancient Mysteries" documentary to help them with the English narration, and she's become fascinated by the mystery of the amazing rock-cut chambers in India called the "Barabar Caves". These chambers are explored in the documentary itself, along with many other megalithic mysteries of the ancient world, and the BAM team is working on a new documentary that focuses on the Barabar Caves.
Jahannah joins us to talk about her work with the BAM team, her fascination with the Barabar Caves, and possible upcoming trips to visit these enigmatic chambers.

We explore over 180 images we took on our recent trip to Egypt, discussing the megalithic stonework of Menkaure at Giza, the Osireion of Abydos, the quarry at Aswan with the Unfinished Obelisk, and the Serapeum of Saqqara. At these sites, there is evidence of anomalous, unknown techniques of stoneworking, evidence of multiple stages of construction with vast amounts of time between them, and evidence that the people doing the work seem to have just vanished in the middle of the job, never to return.
Shout out to Ben from UnchartedX for some of the images from Peru that we show near the end of the presentation.

Ben from UnchartedX joins us this week for a long-form discussion on the technical aspects of some of the anomalous ancient megalithic stonework we see around the world. Are these sites connected stylistically? Do the precision, difficulty, and advanced engineering evident in many of these sites indicate the presence of a lost precursor civilization in deep history? We tackle these questions and many more in this episode.

George Howard, member of the Comet Research Group and owner/operator of the excellent Cosmic Tusk website, joins us this week to deliver a presentation he gave at the recent WorldViewzMedia conference in Sedona. In this presentation, George lays out the evidence for the Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis as an explanation for the massive changes that took place on Earth at the onset of the Younger Dryas period, just before the beginning of the Holocene.
Many of you will be familiar with much of this information, but there's always something new to learn about this fascinating period in Earth history, and George delivers the information with style, as always.

This episode we dive into the subject of channeling, automatic writing, messages from beings claiming to be from space, and the formation of UFO cults with "apocalyptic" prophecies...all of which seem very similar to the formations of much more ancient religions with similar beginnings and similar prophecies of the end of the world.

Thunderstones, lightning strikes, bronze axes, and other artifacts fall from the skies during storms in this episode of our deep dive into Charles Fort's The Book of the Damned.
We're also joined in the first segment by Chris Cottrell of the Dabbler's Den to discuss new information on the possible age of the formations known as the Carolina Bays. Listener Josh Smart joins us to discuss and show his field explorations of the numerous old stone walls, chambers, and possible effigies that dot the landscape of Vermont. Listeners may recall that we have been to Vermont many times due to having family up there, and the last few times we have been, we have taken a day or two to drive around and look for these structures ourselves, including visiting an area known as the "Smith Farm" which has many of these strange and beautiful stone mounds and walls. Josh, being a native to Vermont, has developed a system for finding these structures and has hiked out to see them and take pictures. He shares his photos and thoughts with us on this episode, explaining what he has found and the questions he has been unable to get answers for, despite consulting local authorities, libraries, and historical societies.
We did record video for this episode, so look for it on our YouTube channel if you want to see Josh's photos.

Marty returns for the end-of-year episode to dive back in to the more esoteric aspects of the UFO subject with us. As always, Marty brought an enormous amount of prepared work and research with him, which we presented on the show by having Russ read it, as we did with the previous two UFO episodes.
We covered everything Marty brought this time in one episode, which means this is a massive episode that extends for more than three hours, with Marty bringing up more occult connections, strange visitations and visions, altered states of consciousness, the Collins Elite, and the seeming interest of various intelligence agencies in these phenomena.

Sebastian Lonberg joins us again this week, this time we do take a look at, and listen to, some of the video and audio Kyle and Sebastian recorded while in Egypt. Specifically we listen to the resonant qualities of some of the boxes in the Serapeum, and Kyle and Sebastian use various tools for analysis of the frequencies, and we talk about the details we noticed regarding the quality of the boxes themselves.
Sebastian also reads some excerpts from a book called Egyptian Sonics by John Stuart Reid, who did some very interesting experiments in the Great Pyramid using cymatics. The book is not available for free unfortunately, but you can find a link to John's website and a link to purchase a PDF of the book below.

There is video of this discussion, so check our YouTube Channel if you want to see the images and video we're looking at during the show, as well as the diagnostic tools Kyle and Sebastian use.

Judy SchwartzWe are joined this week by Sebastian Lonberg, an audio engineer from Sweden who was with us on the Egypt trip. Sebastian was very interested in the resonant properties of the sites and objects we visited, and we had great discussions with him while we were there about his thoughts and theories on these effects.
On this episode we talk about our overall thoughts on the acoustics and the possible reasons for them. Sebastian also reads from an excellent article by Tom Danley about his explorations of the acoustical properties of the great pyramid in the late 1990s. A link to this article can be found below. We had planned on going through some of our own recordings of the various resonant properties we investigated, but we didn't have time to get to it on this show, so we will probably be recording another episode with Sebastian soon.

Dynasties, Periods, Kingdoms, what they are, when they occurred, how long they lasted. After that, Kyle reads selections from Petrie's The Pyramids and Temples of Gizeh, specifically parts where Petrie is discussing his research on evidence for "anomalous" stone cutting evident on some artifacts from Egypt.

Chandra Chell Michael Burroughs Associate Executive Producer: Liam JohnstonWe're back from our epic two week trip in Egypt with Ben from UnchartedX and Yousef from the Khemit School. We have many things to say about what we saw and experienced, and a mountain of photos and videos to go through.
For this episode we are joined in-studio by The Watcher to attempt to give an overview of our thoughts and some highlights of the trip. Expect many more episodes like this to come as we dive deeper into the questions we have about what we saw in Egypt. Thanks so much to all of you who have listened to the show and supported us in various ways, this would not have happened without you!
We're busy preparing for Egypt but we did want to get another episode out before we left, and what better time to catch up on listener emails right before we leave for two weeks and get way behind again?
Kyle reads some excellent news stories on human origins and humans in the "new world", as well as some strange and interesting new physics. We then tackle your emails for the rest of the show, which, as always, results in some great and fun discussions.
We're finally back from our Scablands trip and long road journey home, and, with only a week before we leave for Egypt, we plan to release a couple of episode to make up for the weeks we missed.
Ben from UnchartedX was with us in the Scablands, so we got to hang out and get to know him better, and we agreed to do an episode together before we headed off to Egypt. Unlike our earlier swapcasts with Ben, this one is audio only and consists of a great philosophical discussion about the reasons we are fascinated with ancient mysteries and why we make these podcasts and videos. We talk about the origins of life, consciousness and spirituality, the rise and fall of civilization and intelligence, aliens and UFOs. We talk about Egypt and Peru and exploring ancient ruins, and at the end we go over the itinerary for our upcoming trip to Egypt.
We're on the road, driving the whole family from the Scablands in Washington State all the way to Texas, and stopping at lots of cool and beautiful places along the way.
We recorded this with a little handheld recorder in a sweet AirBnB cabin in Wyoming. It's raw and unedited.
Hope you all enjoy. We'll be back to regular podcasting soon!
This episode is a free-form discussion about the topics and information presented by Marty in the UFO episodes, specifically focusing on the previous two episodes, 213 and 214, but also referencing some of the earlier UFO episodes as well.
Do these complex rituals actually work? Or are they also a form of deception? Or, are they possibly Quant Suff of an actual science/technology of an earlier age? What is the nature of the things people call the "spirit" realm and the "supernatural"? Are these things accessible to science if it is advanced enough? What is the "simplest hypothesis" for the UFO phenomena? As usual, we have plenty of questions, and no answers.
This is the second episode in the two-part series of episodes titled "A History of Unlikely Coincidences" with Marty Garza. We recorded both of these in one sitting, reading through Marty's prepared material(which will hopefully become a book at some point) and discussing.
By the time we finished with this episode all of us were too tired to record more, so there will be follow up to discuss these topics more at some point in the future. In this episode we continue from where we left off in the last episode with Jack Parsons, and continue forward discussing L. Ron Hubbard and Scientology, the Collins Elite, the Philip Experiment, and much more.Marty Garza returns once again with more of his excellent research and insights into the history of the UFO phenomenon.
Marty had so much material prepared that this is the first in a two-part series, the second of which will be released next week as Episode #214. We recorded both episodes in one sitting. Lots of excellent material, as usual, fascinating stuff. This time we tried something different; Russ did all the reading of Marty's prepared material, like a normal book report, allowing Marty to guide the conversation through both his written material and with further comments and responses to questions from us. As this is the first in a two part series, there isn't actually much mention of "UFOs" in this episode....that will come in the next episode as we reach the conclusions of this part of Marty's research. This episode sets the stage for what we will be exploring next week, as we look at a series of historical accounts and events starting with John Dee and his Enochian Magic, and ending with Jack Parsons, L. Ron Hubbard, and Aleister Crowley and the Babylon Working.
David Mathisen joins us once again to discuss the celestial origins of mythology. This episode we focus on Dionysus, the god of wine and revelry. This discussion syncs up well with our current situation here in Texas, as we are in the middle of harvest season and we are making wine ourselves.
David tells the story of Dionysus, the thrice-born, giving many of the details and aspects of this mythological personality, and then shows how these details and aspects can be seen in the stars and constellations. As always, David's presentations are entertaining and informative. There was video recorded with this episode, so look for that on our YouTube Channel. You can find out more about David's work at his website, https://www.starmythworld.com/ Blog, books, videos, everything.
We've been so far behind on listener emails for so long now that we decided it was time to catch up with a Listener Communications episode. We spend this entire episode reading your emails and responding to the topics and points you bring up. As always, the emails are excellent; fun to read, insightful and funny.
We also streamed this show live to the Discord Chat, which is always fun. If you want to get in on the occasional live stream and join hundreds of like-minded snakes in excellent conversations about topics we cover on the show, use the link above and join the chat!Every once in a while we decide we need to make an episode that can serve as an "entry point" for new listeners, and also to talk about our current state of mind and ideas on all the topics we discuss, and how they're connected.
We first tried this in Episode 82, at the request of a listener. It was a good idea, and we now think we ought to do it every so often, to talk about these subjects broadly, and to work out where we stand now.
So this episode is a rambling, free-form conversation that hopefully can serve as an overview of some of the topics we explore on this podcast, and a bit about why we explore them.
Long time listener and friend of the show Shannon joins us from across the pond in Yorkshire to discuss the fascinating legends, myths and folklore of the area she lives in, as well as a few of her experiences visiting some of the numerous ancient sites that dot the landscape. We talk about legends of druids and devils, giants and dragons, and of course, the fae.
Shannon provided copious notes, images, and links for this episode, some of which we will include below, along with a few extra images of specific sites.York A city in northern England, Old English Eoforwic, earlier Eborakon (c. 150), an ancient Celtic name, probably meaning "Yew-Tree Estate" but there are numerous references to the origin of the name York, so it just remains obscure and open to interpretation…

We are joined this week by friend of the show Kyle Delisle. We met Kyle on the trip we took to the channeled scablands in Washington State earlier this year with Randall Carlson. Kyle is a Native American of the Iroquois, of the Mohawk nation, and he has been researching Iroquois traditions, legends, and mythology regarding the creation of the world, the creation of humans, giants, and other strange beings that were said to exist long ago.
Kyle tells us about the formation of the Iroquois Confederacy, and the possible travels of the ancestors of his people. We read and discuss some of their stories and traditions about encounters with giants. We talk about their detailed creation stories, and speculate on the possibility that some of the symbolism in the traditions may be referring to constellations, and past catastrophes, especially the Younger Dryas period. All in all, a fascinating and illuminating conversation! Here is Kyle's conversation with David Mathisen that is mentioned during the show: https://cloister.org/david-warner-mathisen/post/y5xgccr6/Celestial-connections-in-the-Mohawk-and-Onondaga-creation-accounts And here is a link to the First Nations Technical Institute where you can find out more about the prophecies that we speak about in the show: https://fnti.net/
Years ago we went over some of the cases in David Paulides' book, Missing 411-Western United States & Canada. Now we're tackling some of the cases in the next book, Missing 411-Eastern United States & Canada. We've chosen a specific set of cases from the book that are less well known and for the most part show a specific pattern: very young children who go missing and are found alive, days later, miles from where they disappeared. This is part 2 of that case study.
We are using the book for reference but we are only covering a very few of the hundreds of cases in this book. We can't stress enough that if you really want to dive into this particular mystery, you should go to David's website, the CanAm Missing Project, purchase the books, and follow his YouTube channel. https://www.canammissing.com/page/page/8396197.htm https://www.canammissing.com/missing_411.html https://www.canammissing.com/missing_411eastern_us.html https://www.youtube.com/user/canammissingproject

Marty Garza joins us once again in the Tangent Cube, this time to deliver an episode on legends of the Skinwalker, and the history of Skinwalker Ranch. Marty says this is in preparation for the material he will be presenting for Part 5 of the UFO series.
We discuss the history of the skinwalker and the American Indian legends regarding them in the Uinta Basin, the wars and skirmishes between the Utes, the Navajo, and the European settlers of the area, leading up to the land of the ranch itself. We discuss the history of ownership and occupation of that area, Bigelow and NIDS and its connection to government projects. We also talk about some of the reported strange activity in that area and the surrounding region, some of which are very, very weird.
This is the final episode of our reading of The Hidden History of the Human Race by Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson. We finish the sections on the problems of "dating by morphology" in which anthropologists use their preconceptions about the evolution of man to place their fossil findings in a chronologically linear timeline even though the actual evidence does not present so clear a picture.
The final section of the book that we look at in detail is about reports and sightings of "wildmen", sasquatch, bigfoot, the yeti, and other hominid-like cryptids from around the world. With this section Cremo and Thompson are making the point that such reports possibly indicate that archaic hominids may still exist today alongside us, just as modern Homo Sapiens Sapiens may have existed alongside relict species of hominids in the ancient past.
Continuing with The Hidden History of the Human Race by Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson, we finish the section on the Piltdown Man discoveries and the later exposing as a very complex hoax. We then look at the details of the Beijing Man discoveries, the funding by the Rockefeller Foundation, and the methods used by the people involved to popularize this discovery when it was only a couple of teeth.
Again, it should be made clear that studying these discoveries through this book is not necessarily about trying to "disprove" evolution. It is about comparing the way the discoveries that supported the mainstream ideas about evolution were treated, versus the way that discoveries that did not support mainstream ideas, were treated.
Back to our deep dive into The Hidden History of the Human Race by Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson for part eight! We continue on from where we were in part seven, looking at the "Java man" discovery of what would later be come known as Homo Erectus, by Eugene Dubois, and the problems and arguments surrounding those finds at the time.
We read about another paleoanthropologist, von Koenigswald, returning to the same site in Java to look for further evidence of this "missing link", and the problems with his methods. There is also an interesting event in which a Jesuit priest, who had been involved in the discovery of Beijing Man and the Piltdown fossils, arrives and helps von Koenigswald get connected with the Carnegie Institute for funding of his work.
This episode is a celebration of 200 episodes of the Brothers of the Serpent podcast. (If you're wondering why we did this on episode 201 instead of 200, it's because the podcast starts with episode 002!)
Using an extensive list of clips from older episodes, all marked and prepared by listeners, we look back at how the podcast has grown and changed, and mostly at how many dumb jokes we've made.
We're joined in studio by Marty, from the UFO episodes, as a representative of the Discord SnakeForce, and they spring a huge surprise on us during the break after the first segment.
It was amazing.
Thanks so much to all of the Snakeforce in the discord for all the support and the huge list of clip suggestions. Thanks to LP for putting all those suggestions together in a spreadsheet. Thanks to Janus for taking our picks and actually extracting all the clips for us. And thanks to everyone who participated in the super-secret channel to put together the amazing super secret secret!!
Hope you all enjoy this, and don't miss out on the special end-of-show mix! See you in the next 200 episodes!
We take a break from the book report to talk about the ongoing UFO conversation happening in the mainstream right now. Russ gives a synopsis of Jacques Vallee's new book, TRINITY: The Best-Kept Secret, that he co-authored with Paola Harris, about a possible crash in the New Mexico desert several years before the infamous Roswell incident.
We also discuss Vallee's previous works, which Russ has been re-reading, and how utterly strange this phenomena is, and how the current "disclosure", whatever it may end up disclosing, cannot possibly approach the true strangeness, or breadth and scope, of the "UFO" phenomena. In the final segment we read some Listener Communications.
Continuing on in what is becoming one of our most in depth and lengthy book dives, we move forward in The Hidden History of the Human Race by Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson, finishing up the anomalous human remains section with some extremely anomalous finds, including well-documented and discussed sets of human-like footprint tracks in Carboniferous strata.
We then move on to Part II of the book, which details finds of ancient human remains that are well accepted in the literature and by modern science as part of the human evolutionary story, and all of the interesting and sometimes strange circumstances that surround them.
Continuing along in our exploration of The Hidden History of the Human Race by Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson, we finish up the cases of anomalous objects and artifacts found in very ancient contexts, placing them as far back as 2 billion years in the most extreme case, and move on to the section on actual human remains. Most of these are bones in various states of mineralization, all of which were found in strata that makes them anomalously old for hominids with modern morphology.
We return from our Scablands trip and dive right back into The Hidden History of the Human Race by Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson. We finish up the anomalous stone tools section with Sandia Cave in New Mexico and the finds in the Gold Rush mines in California, then move on to even more anomalous finds of advanced quarrying tools, embedded nails and vases, gold chains and chalk spheres, then finish up the show with the infamous Nampa Figurine, found in Idaho.
This show was streamed live to the Discord chat, which we do from time to time. so if you want to be in on that next time, join the discord! You can find a join button on our website.
Thanks to listener Janus from the Discord for this episode's show art!
As we continue our reading of The Hidden History of the Human Race by Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson, we look at paleolithic tools, evidence of fire usage including hearths and slag indicative of kilns, and bones of extinct animals with stone tools embedded in them, in geological contexts that place them into extremely ancient times, up to tens of millions of years old.
Artifacts in glacial till in Canada, in pliocene sediments in Argentina, and advanced neolith tools in Hueyatlaco, Mexico, all point to hominids in the Americas for hundreds of thousands, sometimes millions, of years. We also look at how the scientific and paleoanthropological establishment has worked to discredit and bury these finds.Continuing our reading through The Hidden History of the Human Race by Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson, we look at more examples of ancient stone tools found in very ancient contexts through the late 1800's and into the early 1900's. In Portugal, France, Brazil, Chile, and the U.S., there were discoveries of eolithic and paleolithic tools, that were studied by many scientists and paleontologists of the day, and presented at conferences and scientific congresses for study and debate. Many times the scientists of the time decided the tools were genuine evidence of very early humans, and yet much of this evidence is now completely forgotten and does not appear in modern discussions, scientific literature, or textbooks.
We are joined by master jeweler Jeffrey Appling to discuss ultrasonic technology in the use of cutting and shaping stone. Jeffrey has been using an ultrasonic drilling and coring machine to cut, drill, and shape even the hardest of stones and jewels with ease. The bit of the machine does not spin, the ultrasonic vibration simply allows the bit to sink into the stone, so it is possible to core out shapes that are more complex than a simple circle, and do it in minutes with relatively little work.
We talk about the machine and how it works, and we talk about the possibility that the ancient Builders may have used something similar to this machine, only probably much larger in many cases, to do some of the astonishing work we see at certain ancient sites. We also look at some of Jeffrey's jewelry work, and discuss the interesting possibility that an old mission building in California may show signs of containing very old, high tech stonework concealed within rough adobe and cobblestone walls. Be sure to take a look at Jeffrey's blog and his YouTube Channel to see more of his work, and his research into the possibility of the ancients using ultrasonic technology. Jeffrey sent us a bunch of images which we discuss on the show. Here they are, more or less in the order we discussed them:
In part 2 of our deep dive into The Hidden History of the Human Race by Michael Cremo and Richard Thompson, we finish up on the "cut bones" section of the book and move on to looking at stone tools found in exceedingly ancient geological contexts.
Once again the authors give many examples of excellent finds of stone tools, bone implements, tool workshops, and fires, in sediments that are considered to be many millions of years old, far too ancient to fit the current paradigm of human evolution.http://www.megalithomania.co.uk/egypt2021.html

We return again to swapcasting with Ben from UnchartedX, and this week we are also joined by Jahannah James (check out her youtube channel here) who was on the recent Egypt trip with Ben. The four of us go through Ben's footage and their observations and memories of the trip and the sites of the Karnak and Luxor temples in Egypt. We discuss the beautiful dynastic architecture, and how it seems to be surrounding and enclosing objects of a much different and possibly much more ancient nature....the monolithic statues and obelisks, for example.
There are also incredibly beautiful monolithic doorways carved from single pieces of hard stone, some of which seem to have undergone a mysterious event that caused incredible damage to them. We ponder these mysteries and many more as we look at the footage and the imagery that Ben provides. And yes, we know that it is sometimes frustrating to listen to something like this when you can't see the visuals. The video will be up soon on all of our channels, so look for it there, and thanks for your patience.
Tony joins us this week to revisit the topic of Atlantis. This time we look at the details of the city and civilization itself, and the many possible places and times people have theorized it may have existed. Was it an antediluvian civilization, or might it have existed much more recently, in the bronze age? Was it somewhere in the Atlantic ocean, or in another body of water? We look at Morocco, Malta, Richat, Azores, Bolivia, and many other places.
Possibly, as with so many of these ancient mysteries, we will never really know.
We return to our series of video swapcasts with Ben from UnchartedX, this time to look at Ollantaytambo, the Coricancha, and a site known as "The Temple of the Moon" in Peru.
As always, Ben's footage is excellent, and we spend much of the show discussing details of the strange, rock-cut and apparently heavily damaged stonework, as well as the enigmatic megalithic work of Ollantaytambo and the Coricancha. So little is known about the origins of these sites and structures, that all we can do is observe the details, ask questions, and wonder.
This week's winter storm that came through Texas put everything on hold, including our podcast schedule, as we were iced in and the power was flickering on and off. Finally, on Friday, the snow and ice started to thaw, and we were able to get in the studio to record a show.
This is a correspondence show, since we had nothing else planned. Great emails from everyone, and they spark some interesting discussions.
We are joined in-studio once again by Marty Garza to continue our discussion on the topic of UFOs, aliens, extraterrestrials, spiritual/interdimensional beings, and the incredibly varied and strange nature of this phenomenon.
As usual, Marty has done a ton of research and prepared copious notes for the show, and he guides us through multiple encounter stories from the military and civilians. For a while we focus on "USO" reports, or Unidentified Submerged Objects, also known as "Trans-medium vehicles", as they seem to operate as well in the water as out of it.
We look at some of the stranger aspects of "Skinwalker Ranch", and how the phenomena there seemed to range from entity sightings, to UFOs, flying orbs, cattle mutilations, voices, ghosts, and "demons".
Marty then takes the show in an interesting direction, looking at Gnostic, Hermetic, and old Christian considerations of "daimons" as beings both physical and non-physical, good and evil, existing at the periphery of perception.
We wrap up the discussion with talk about what the possible limits are, if any, to "technological advancement", as well as the breadth of possible configurations of life in the universe, and/or in "other universes" that may touch ours in certain ways, or perhaps in certain places....places that have been considered "sacred" since before recorded history.
For our third installment in the series of swapcasts we are doing with Ben from UnchartedX, we are joined by Matt from the excellent Ancient Architects YouTube channel. The four of us take a look at Ben's raw footage of the amazing and mysterious megalithic site of Sacsayhuaman in Peru, as well as the remains of beautiful megalithic, polygonal, "cyclopean" masonry in the city of Cuzco below.
Unlike Egypt, there is far less information available about these sites, what their true origins are, who built them, and why. We ponder these questions, as well as the questions of how these sites were constructed, as they seem almost unbelievable in the details of the masonry....and yet there they stand. Someone did it. Who they were and how they did it are still mysteries. The video for this episode will be released on all of our YouTube channels, so stay tuned!Taking a break this week in the swapcast series we've been doing with Ben from UnchartedX, We take the time to respond to emails, which sparks some great discussion on the Serapeum and the pyramids and ancient, lost technology.
We then turn to the legends of a particular lost object which we have spoken of before, the legendary Shamir, which was said to have been able to cut and shape stone with ease. In some cases the Shamir itself was said to be a stone, but also maybe a living creature, a worm of some kind, or perhaps an herb or some other plant. Whatever the Shamir was, it seems clear that some ancient people could work stone in ways that we do not understand in modern times.
In this episode Russ gives a presentation, with slides, about the standard model processes that take place in stars to generate elements, how that process eventually results in novas and supernovas, and how supernovas and other similar very high energy events generate cosmic rays. When these cosmic rays hit earth, they result in "cosmogenic nuclides" like the radioactive Carbon 14 that is so often used to date material in archaeological settings.
We also run through a short list of the most often used dating techniques, how they work, what the problems are, what the ranges are, and what the margins of error are. We also look at the various assumptions and methods and theory behind these techniques.
As this was a slide show presentation, it may help to watch the video, so look for that on our youtube channel.
This is our final episode for 2020, and we streamed it live to the Discord, which is always fun. The Watcher was there, plus a lot of the Discord Snakeforce, trolling us non-stop in the chats while we recorded the episode.
We had a lot of listener emails backed up, plus we had a "stack of stuff" that we hadn't yet gotten to on the show, so for this episode we go through all the emails and respond to them, plus we read some articles on possible alien signals being detected, the sun may be actually about to enter into a really powerful new solar cycle rather than a weak one, and a jeweler who uses ultrasonic tools that leave very similar marks on the stones he works, as what is often seen in Egypt, Peru, and other places with mysterious ancient stonework.
In the last segment, Kyle talks about his renewed interest in the "search for dark matter" being undertaken by standard model physicists, what he is learning, what he hopes to learn, and what he thinks so far about what he is discovering. Dark matter, and dark energy, may be part of a resonant effect that permeates the entirety of the observable universe.
See you all in 2021!
George Howard joins us once again on the show, this time to talk about his recent trip to Egypt with Ben from UnchartedX. We talk with George about his impressions of the pyramids, the Sphinx, the Valley Temple, the Osireion, the Bent Pyramid, the unfinished obelisk, the Temple of Hathor, and of course, the Serapeum and the enigmatic stone boxes inside it. George tells us about the somewhat harrowing experience of descending over a hundred feet into a narrow shaft to see other granite boxes beneath the Giza plateau. We talk about George's overall impressions of the constructions he saw, and about the possibility of some of the objects being "precursor" artifacts, surround by later dynastic constructions.
George has posted about the trip on his excellent blog, The Cosmic Tusk.
He has also posted a collection of over 500 images from the trip.
Aside from the conversation with George, we also open a bunch of 1-up boxes (it was like Christmas in the Tangent Cube), and we read articles about the re-discovered Dixon artifact from the Great Pyramid, papers showing that Issac Newton believed the pyramid contained ancient secrets about the Earth and the apocalypse, and that the modern Venus is like ancient Earth while modern Earth is like ancient Venus.
Also, we got our TeePublic account upgrade, so be sure to visit our TeePublic storefront to get yourself some sweet SnakeBros merchandise!
Archer Finley joins us again, this time from afar, for a continued discussion of Tesla's wireless transmission project and to answer questions that episode generated from listeners (and us).
This leads to a discussion of one of Tesla's other projects, "Telegeodynamics", or, the transmission of mechanical energy through the body of the earth....also sometimes referred to as "the earthquake machine". Then we read an article sent by a listener about a project to understand what kinds of long-term geological signatures might be left on a planet by an advanced civilization, and how we might look for these kinds of signatures in earth's geological history, and how this could help us find signatures of advanced civilizations on distant exoplanets. This leads into a discussion of the current state of the search for exoplanets, what astronomers are finding, and what this data implies about the actual number of planets out there in the universe. We also discuss the concept of an astronomical "standard candle", also known as a Type 1a Supernova, the standard model theoretical process by which these events happen, and how modern astrophysicists and cosmologists used them to measure the expansion rate of the universe, which lead to the concept of "dark energy". We end the show with a special bonus segment where we talk about large resonant systems, and how they tend to want to synchronize the component parts, and how this possibly applies to Velikovsky's ideas. Also it explains pyramids. Link to the metronome synchronization video: http://demoweb.physics.ucla.edu/content/160-spontaneous-synchronization
This week we are joined again by Laird Scranton to talk about The Velikovsky Heresies, as a follow up to our deep dive on that book. We talk through many of the questions we developed during the course of the deep dive series, such as the problem of calendar changes and how some cultures made changes to their calendars long after the 7th century BC. We talk about the ancient Chinese and Korean records of astronomical observations that don't seem to match up with current solar system models. We talk about the Dogon and their traditions that correspond to ancient Egypt and their calendars.
We also take some time to ask Laird some questions that listeners posted in the Discord, about a wide range of subjects that leads in many interesting directions.
Thanks to Henry Hablak for the awesome show art!
Archer Finley joins us in studio once again, this time to give us an electrical engineer's perspective on the topic of Tesla's experiments into wireless power transmission. Archer starts with the basics, interspersing the history of Tesla's work with basic circuit diagrams, and working up to Tesla's actual patents related to the wireless transmission of electricity.
We discuss how the system would work, according to the patents, and whether it could actually be implemented on a global scale. We talk about whether this system involves "free energy" or not, and about why Tesla lost the funding for the project. Archer did this presentation as a slide show, and the images he used were very helpful in understanding the way the system should work. Be sure to check our youtube channel for this episode, as we did record video for the whole presentation.
We are joined this week by Seriah Azkath, from the Where Did the Road Go podcast, to talk about an idea he's been working on for a while now. We discuss poltergeist activity, bigfoot, UFOs, time loops, ghosts, EVP, Point Pleasant and the Mothman, Men in Black, Near Death Experiences, parapsychology and ESP abilities, and retrocausality, and how all of these might in some way be either part of the same phenomena, or be multiple phenomena resulting from the same underlying cause.
A big part of this is Seriah's point that many of these seemingly disparate types of events have similar features; for example, the kinds of things that people call "poltergeists" when they happen in a house, are attributed to sasquatch when they happen in the wilderness. A glowing light floating around in an abandoned building is a "ghost", while a glowing light in the sky is a "UFO".
Retrocausality is a big part of the function of the Mechanism that Seriah is proposing....that events in the future can have an effect on the present, through the medium of consciousness. We discuss how this has been demonstrated multiple times in different studies, and how this might tie together a lot of incidents that are attributed to different types of experiences.
We are joined once again by Snakeforce member Tony Petrangelo to continue discussing the topic of Plato's Atlantis, and whether this story could have possibly been referring to the time period of the bronze age collapse and the invasion of Egypt by the mysterious "Sea People".
Tony leads us through the complexities of bronze age civilizations in the Mediterranean, looking at clay tablets of letters being written from one king to another describing the state of their kingdoms and the problems they were facing. We also look at the description of the invasion and defeat of the Sea People in Egypt, how they were described, and what they were called, and where they may have been from.
In the end, what Tony is showing us are the correlations to these events and some of the details given by Plato. He doesn't have a "location" of Atlantis, or an idea of "who" the "Atlanteans" were. Rather, he is looking at the evidence to see if this may have been the time period for the events described by Plato.
Here is a list of the sources Tony used for this episode: Books Meet me in Atlantis by Mark Adams Sunken Kingdom by Peter James 1177 BC by Eric Cline Sea Peoples of the Bronze Age Mediterranean c.1400 BC–1000 BC by Andrea Salimbeti & Raffaele D’Amato Seagoing Ships & Seamanship in the Bronze Age Levant by Shelley Wachsmann Exodus to Arthur by Mike Baillie Papers Literary History in the Parian Marble by Andrea Rotstein A Mycenaean Fountain on the Athenian Acropolis by Oscar Broneer Athens in the Late Bronze Age by Oscar Broneer Landscape Changes around Tiryns during the Bronze Age by Eberhard Zangger The Great Karnak Inscription of Merneptah: Grand Strategy in the 13th Century B.C. by Colleen Manassa Darnell Libyan Trade and Society on the Eve of the Invasions of Egypt by Seth Richardson The Role of the Lukka People in Late Bronze Age Anatolia by Trevor Bryce The Ethnicity of the Sea Peoples by Frederik Christiaan Woudhuizen Connected Histories: the Dynamics of Bronze Age Interaction and Trade 1500–1100 bc by Kristian Kristiansen & Paulina Suchowska-Ducke New technologies and transformations in the European Bronze Age: the case of Naue II swords by Paulina Suchowska-Ducke
Marty Garza returns yet again to continue our deep dive into the subject of UFOs. This time we focus specifically on accounts centering around WWII. For the first two segments, Marty recounts many sightings of anomalous objects seen in the sky in the Americas and Europe from the 1930s through the 1950s, especially during the period of the war, and how these objects were reported.
In the second half of the show, we look at the evidence of Nazi secret technologies, what the Axis powers thought of the many anomalous sightings, and what tech the Nazis may have had that could have accounted for(or couldn't account for), the sightings of these objects.
This is the final part of our deep dive into Laird Scranton's The Velikovsky Heresies. For this final part we look at more evidence of ancient astronomers apparently seeing Venus in strange places or in ways that do not match current models. We read about Venus' apparently young surface, thin lithosphere that consists of one single "tectonic plate", its active vulcanism, and evidence of upper atmospheric lightning. We read about Venus having a very rare chemical in its atmosphere that is usually only found associated with cometary bodies.
The book wraps up with a concise list of interesting points that seem to indicate that modern scientific discoveries do sometimes support some of Velikovsky's predictions, and whether this means all of his ideas were right or not is still a matter up for debate.
Much thanks to our friends over at Inner Traditions for allowing us to read large excerpts from one of their publications. Make sure to visit their online store and purchase a copy of The Velikovsky Heresies for yourself, or you can get it from Amazon.
Thanks to Henry Hablak for the awesome show art!
After returning from our trip through Arizona and Utah with Randall and Brad, we come back to the Tangent Cube at the end of the week for the next installment of our deep dive into The Velikovsky Heresies by Laird Scranton.
This episode we talk a lot about magnetism, remnant magnetism in lunar rocks, and calendar changes made by multiple ancient civilizations all around the same time. We talk about immense climate changes that accompanied the sudden change from a 360 day calendar year to a 365 day calendar year.
We also read about problems with various types of radioactive decay dating techniques, and how without knowing the exact amount of certain materials that existed in rock at the time of its formation, these techniques cannot give accurate dates, even assuming that the radioactive decay rate is a constant.
Here's the roadsode. We talk about the Arizona/Utah trip with Randall. More to come soon!
We're going to bed now.
Enjoy!
For part two of our deep dive into The Velikovsky Heresies by Laird Scranton, we talk about the mechanics of the solar system, of circular orbits, of retrograde motion. We talk about the "n-body problem" of physics and how the motions of all the bodies in the solar system is, over the long term, an exercise in chaos mathematics.
We read about how Velikovsky was in communication with Einstein before his death, and that Einstein was skeptical at first but was impressed when one of Velikovsky's predictions proved to be accurate. We read about ancient records comparing Venus to comets and supernova that were visible in the daytime, and about the strange properties of the core of Jupiter.
Kyle was out of town for most of this week so this show was late, but on Friday night we finally managed to get in the Tangent Cube and record it. We're starting a new SnakeBros book report, this one on Laird Scranton's excellent book The Velikovsky Heresies.
On this episode we cover Laird's intro to the book and the first few chapters, discussing the controversy that Velikovsky's work caused, and Laird's purpose in writing the book, which was to see if Velikovsky's ideas hold up to modern science and the enormous amount of new understanding we have gathered about our solar system since the writing Velikovsky's works.
This week we are joined once again by Bob Johnson for the first hour of the show to talk about his experiences in Egypt and Saudi Arabia as a geologist, this time in the context of the subject of the story of Exodus. Bob directed us to watch a short documentary detailing a possible "alternate route" to the legendary Mount Sinai, the Mountain of Moses.
That mountain is commonly thought to be in the Sinai peninsula, but the documentary shows that it may actually be in Saudi Arabia, on the eastern side of the Gulf of Aqaba. There are many features and places besides the mountain itself that seem to match up with the story told in Exodus, lending credence to this possibility.
Bob spent decades working in this area and knows the geology very well, so as we go through the evidence for this alternate possibility, he gives his own thoughts on the pros and cons of the concept.
There is a lot of map work in this part of the show, so we did record some video of Bob pointing to places on the map for the first hour, which you can see if you go to our Youtube channel. Below are links to the documentary itself and a few screenshots of the maps of the area.

This week we are joined by another SnakeForce guest, Tony Petrangelo. Tony is an active member in the Discord and has been heavily researching Plato, Socrates, the Mediterranean Bronze Age civilizations, and Atlantis.
We asked Tony to come on the show and talk to us about his research and his take on the Timaeus dialogue. He gives an excellent presentation, taking us through select parts of the text, providing context, opinions of academics, Neo-Platonics, and other researchers, along with his own particular take on what Plato may be talking about. This is excellent information for anyone interested in the concept of Atlantis.
See more of Tony's research on Atlantis at his website, https://atlantis.fyi/

And of course, check the Library of the Serpent, which is full of relevant material.
Shadows in a Cave
We end the show with some discussion of the possibility that old Biblical texts may, in some cases, be depicting more of this kind of phenomena as well.
This week we are joined by Ed Nightingale to discuss his extensive work on the layout of the Giza monuments. Ed has uncovered a "master plan", a kind of architectural mathematical layout of the Giza plateau that incorporates sacred geometry and encodes precessional numbers and universal constants like pi, phi, and the speed of light.
The concepts themselves are relatively simple geometric processes, but they are difficult to explain using only words, so Ed shows us some slides during the show. These slides will be available in the YouTube version of the show, we encourage you all to watch it!
We will be having Ed on in future shows to get more into the material, as this show was mostly an overview of the process and a quick look at some of the geometry.

This is a special bonus episode (bonusode) for us to catch up on listener emails, news stories, and other things that have been piling up recently. We also streamed the recording of this episode live to the Discord chat, if you missed it, sign up and join so you can be there next time we stream live!
This week we are joined by Adam and Serfiel, hosts of the Conspirinormal podcast, for a long-form round-table discussion of everything from cryptids to conspiracies to the Custodians of the Gods of Eden.
We also take a few minutes in the middle of the show to discuss their upcoming Strange Realities Conference, a digital conference they are hosting at the end of the year with some excellent guests giving talks on fascinating topics.
With all the UFO stuff in the news recently, we've been thinking we need to do an episode dedicated to the topic. So this week we are joined in-studio by Marty Garza, a former MUFON investigator with decades of interest and research in the subject of UFOs.
We invited Marty to come spend a day with us. We hung out, drank beers and talked about UFOs. Then we got in the studio and recorded an episode on the subject. Marty brought a stack of books with him and had copious notes, and we could tell half way through recording this episode that it was going to have to be a multi-part deep dive. So there will be future UFO episodes with Marty until we finish going through all of his notes.
This week, the topic mostly centers on the beginning of the "modern" era of UFO sightings starting after WW2, and the government response to the phenomena.
(Marty also happens to be a member of the championship winning monster truck team "Overkill Evolution". Sadly, he did not pull up to the tangent cube in the actual monster truck. Next time, maybe.)
This week we speak with Linda Zimmermann, author of Mysterious Stone Sites, about the stone effigies, dolmen, balanced rocks, and chambers of the Hudson Valley area. Linda has done extensive research on the archeo-astronomy of the chambers, walls, and other strange stone features found in the northeastern United States, and she shares a wealth of information and experiences with us, detailing her efforts to travel to various sites during solstices and equinoxes to witness for herself the celestial alignments.
At the end of the show she also gives us a quick rundown of the many interesting UFO cases in the Hudson Valley area, and relates one of her own experiences with a strange object in the sky.
Find more about Linda and her extensive work in many areas of mystery at her website.
North Salem Balanced Rock Glacial Chatter Marks
We talk with Glenn Kreisberg, author of Spirits in Stone, about the many megaliths, dolmens, standing stones, and stone effigy sites in the northeastern U.S.
Although there are undoubtedly many colonial artifacts like stone piles and stone border walls throughout the northeastern United States, Glenn describes how some of these sites display celestial and internal alignments that make them unlikely to be the constructions of farmers clearing land and marking borders. He also gives several ways of trying to determine if one is looking at a "colonial" construction, or something much more ancient and interesting.
We also briefly discuss some of his work on Malta, and the seemingly anomalous acoustical properties of the Hypogeum.
You can find Glenn's book at the link above, and follow his work at his website, overlookmountain.org.
This episode's show art was made by Henry Hablak. Check out his website and follow him on instagram.

We have an excellent conversation with author Laird Scranton about his research into the wisdom of the ancients; the Dogon, the ancient Egyptians, the ancient Hindu traditions, and more, all seem to contain parts of a precise scientific understanding of the cosmos, life, consciousness, and the nature of matter and energy. Laird describes how many of these ancient traditions express this understanding through the use of symbols that are often the same or very similar even across distant cultures. We talk about the "civilizer gods", the Apkallu, the Seven Sages, and the Viracochas...all of which may be the result of beings from the "immaterial realm" crossing over during the times when our universe is closest to theirs, in order to teach and establish systems of knowledge that will survive across many thousands of years when the two realms are too "distant" to fully interact. A very interesting conversation that left us with a lot to ponder. Enjoy!
Continuing on from last week's discussion, we read and respond to emails about evolution and how people think about it in various ways, with analogies and references to consciousness and a possible spirit realm, or other more mechanistic ways of thinking about it. We talk to the Watcher about genetics and genetic expression in reproduction, and chromosome pairing. Then we continue to dig through the information on MacroEvolution.net and the work of Dr. Eugene McCarthy, and his Stabilization Theory of evolution. We read about the "fuzzyness" of terms like "species", and how the entire process of the categorization of life is based in an idea of immutability of form, even though that concept has long since been discarded.
Prompted by listener emails, we discuss the topic of evolution and our thinking on it, and how our thinking on it has evolved over the years. This leads to some reading from the excellent website of Dr. Eugene McCarthy and his theory of hybridization and stabilization as a better version of the evolutionary theory. This is a topic with a lot of details, many of which we don't fully understand. We intend to work on it some more and perhaps dive deeper in the next episode.
We've gotten way behind on listener emails because of the guests on the last three shows, so after we open some 1up boxes and do the drawing for the SnakeBros Hat prize, we read through a lot of excellent emails that spark conversation on many topics. In the third segment Kyle reads some articles on recent information about the rings of Saturn, volcanism and extinction events, and how the Mayans didn't predict the end of the world, again. The final segment goes long as we discuss the problem of time dilation in relativity, and how there might be different and interesting ways to picture that in your mind, and what that might mean for how the electromagnetic spectrum actually interacts with the universe.
The host of the excellent podcast Skeptiko, Alex Tsakiris, joins us for a wide-ranging conversation covering many topics from ancient aliens to the nature of consciousness to conspiracy to the question of evil. Alex has interviewed hundreds of researchers and scientists on his show in his quest to gain a better understanding about who we are and what we are "supposed" to be doing here in this existence, and his show has taken him on a path of "following the data" as much as possible to find answers to these questions, or at the very least, to find better questions to ask.
This is another special show with a guest who joins us in-studio. Bob Johnson is a geologist, now retired, who spent 35 years traveling extensively in North Africa and the Middle East. He has visited many of the ancient sites we have discussed on our show, and gives us his personal perspectives of the many places he has visited, including the Serapeum, the Giza Plateau, Ba'albek, Petra, Malta, and many more. We also discuss a very interesting case he worked on as a scientist and geologist, where mysterious, spontaneous fires were plaguing a small village, and the people living there were convinced the fires were being caused by the jinn. We also talk about the science of geology itself, about uniformity and catastrophism, climate change and ice ages, flood myths and other ancient stories that may be supported by geological data, and much more.
We are joined in-studio by David Getzin, a longtime friend of the show, many of you may remember us reading his emails about good pipe tobacco and constructing a Djed Drill. He was on a cross-country road trip and stopped by to visit us here on the plateau, and once we started talking about ancient mysteries and other similar snakebro topics, we realized, we had to record a podcast with him. So we all climbed into the tangent cube and, amidst copious clouds of fine tobacco smoke and a few glasses of wine, we recorded this episode. The discussion ranges across many topics, but the main idea David describes is something called the "Prime Symbol" in architectural expression of cultures and civilizations across the ages, how it changes, and what it means for us now in the modern age. We talk about the categorizations of Prime Symbol in past cultures and what they tell us about how those cultures viewed the world around them, and how that may help us understand how to better express a modern Prime Symbol in our own architecture. You can follow David and his work through his podcast, A History of Architecture, his YouTube channel Living Process, and his website, Living Process, LLC.
This episode is one of those rambling conversations that is difficult, in retrospect, to give a concise title. We do talk about entropy and the arrow of time, but we also discuss gravity and astrophysics, orbital mechanics, lagrange points and trojan points, geomagnetic anomalies and an "activated" asteroid in a Jovian orbit, the Dead Sea Scrolls and DNA testing, and the Rosetta Stone and a brief history of the attempts to translate ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics. We also read a couple of really great emails, and open three 1up boxes, which takes a long time, and is part of why this show is longer than usual. We probably will have to restrict ourselves to one box per episode in the future.

This is the final part of our deep dive into William Bramley's The Gods of Eden. We pick up where we left off last week with the Count of St. Germain, and his strange ability to travel back and forth between warring aristocracy in Europe and England, the part he played in the coup of Catherine II over Peter III in Russia, and later, the implications that he may have staged his death and lived on, or even the possibility that he was, if not immortal, at least very long-lived. We also look at Joseph Smith and the formation of the Mormon church, and some of the information said to have been written on the "metal plates" that Joseph was supposedly told to recover from a hidden place, which detail terrible catastrophes that fell on a civilization now lost to history. Finally, we end with Bramley's message to anyone who wants to carry his research forward, and his outlining of several threads to pull on. We hope you all enjoyed this deep dive as much as we did!
We are back to our regularly scheduled program of our deep dive into William Bramley's The Gods of Eden after last week's break. This week we finish up with the sections on the Plagues and begin moving into more recent history, following the corrupted Brotherhood's machinations as they foment war and strife across Europe. We look at the Protestant rebellion, Calvinism, the Eighty Years War, the strange cult known as the "Friends of God", and Rosicrucianism. We end in the middle of the chapter on the Count of St. Germain, a very strange and mysterious figure from the 1700s.
Russ is sick this week(not with Covid19, don't worry), so we had to put the Gods of Eden book report on hold because Russ can't read when he's sick. (Well, really, it's just hard to talk so much with a sore throat). So instead we have Chris Cottrel from The Dabbler's Den on for a segment to talk to us about a new and fascinating idea that he and Antonio Zamora have been working on, related to the Carolina Bays, called "Splash Chevrons". Chris shows us some of the LiDAR images he has been looking at that show these features(if you want to see the images, you can check our YouTube Channel for the video for this episode, as we did record video during the interview with Chris), and we talk about what they might be. We also have on our good friend Brendan Lea, who some of you may know from recent emails to the show about "nothing". We talk with him about his work with world champion martial artist Peter Ralston, but we talk not about "fighting", really, but something much deeper about the nature of reality itself and what that means(or doesn't), because part of the training he has undergone with Peter is about having an "enlightenment" experience of something absolute, and that changed his life and his entire outlook on reality itself. We hope you enjoy this show, and the book report will resume next week!
We continue our reading of William Bramley's The Gods of Eden, following the corrupt Brotherhood and the Custodial machinations to the end of the Crusades. Bramley focuses briefly on the ancient Americas, talking about the Custodial influences there, with the same legends of "gods" from other worlds or the stars. We then go back across the Atlantic and begin looking at the Black Death and the plague years, and the strange sightings in the sky of lights and objects during this period,as well as the unknown cloaked figures reported in the outskirts of towns that later became the popularized image of "Death", holding a scythe.
We continue to follow Bramley's "Custodial" powers up through history as the Brotherhood continues to splinter and create warring factions across the globe, keeping humans splintered and scattered and fighting amongst each other while these ancient powers pull strings in the background. We look at the early formation of Christianity and how it changed when governmental powers moved in and absorbed it. We look at the beginnings of the Islamic faith, and the splintering and factioning that happened soon after. We look at the crusades, the Knights of St. John who became the Knights of Malta, and the Templars who became the Knights of Christ and later, the Freemasons. We look at the Assassins, and the powerful tool of the "lone assassin". We also read a lot of listener communications talking about the previous Gods of Eden episodes, read an article from the Cosmic Tusk about space bacteria, and Kyle reads another great article written by a skerptard on the life and ideas of Dr. Freeman Dyson, which spurs a short conversation on the concept of "macrostructures" like the Dyson Sphere.
We pick up where we left off last week with William Bramley's book, The Gods of Eden, following the "corrupted Brotherhood" through history as it spreads across the world, bringing conflict to mankind and obscuring true understanding.
We continue our deep dive into William Bramley's book, The Gods of Eden, looking at ancient traditions and accounts of the "gods" that have seemingly ruled mankind since furthest antiquity, and may be the cause of the continuous conflict all over the world, for thousands of years.
We begin a new book report into William Bramley's book, The Gods of Eden. In this first part, we go through Bramley's introduction into his reasons for writing the book, what his original research was searching for, and what he actually found. What are the real reasons behind humanity's constant wars? Is there a hidden third faction lurking in the shadows of these conflicts? Bramley starts at the beginning of recorded history to track down the answers of these questions, starting with the Sumerian civilization.
Both of our parents join us in the tangent cube for this episode, to talk about their backgrounds and tell stories of the shenanigans we got up to as kids, and their philosophy of education that had such a huge impact on how we go about life, always trying to learn new things from the natural world around us. This is a special episode for us, and as so many families around the world are spending a lot more time together right now, we thought it would be fun to have all four of us crammed into the cube for a good old fashioned Allen roundtable. Many listeners are already familiar with the Snake Stache from his previous appearance on episode #84, and this is the first time the Snake Mom has been on the show. We hope you all enjoy listening to this episode as much as we enjoyed making it!

We have an excellent and mind-expanding discussion with Dr. Chandra Wickramasinghe about panspermia and the cosmic origins of life, and how evidence has been building for decades that space itself may contain a "micro-biome" consisting of vast numbers of single-cell life forms and viruses, and that these are constantly raining down upon the earth, changing and affecting life here on the planet, and possibly contributing to evolutionary changes throughout the history of life on earth. We also talk about how this cosmic distribution of life in the universe may have caused the sudden onset of plagues and sicknesses throughout history, and that it may be the origin of the current viral crisis the world is facing in the form of COVID19. We have to give special thanks to George Howard from The Cosmic Tusk blog for helping us set up this fantastic interview with Dr. Chandra. You can find the recent articles George has written regarding Dr. Chandra's work here, and here. For more information on Dr. Chandra and his enormous body of work, you can go to his website.

We take a break from the book reports and deep dives and relax a bit, talking about whatever comes to mind through the course of the show. We also streamed this episode live to the Discord chat, which was fun, and is something we plan to do more of in the future. We catch up on listener emails and Kyle reads an excellent story about an exoplanet where it actually rains metal. We talk ancient aliens, space genes, and viruses. We also read through a three part article from MessageToEagle.com about redheaded mummies, worldwide mythology, and a possible Atlantean connection. Enjoy!
We finish our long deep dive into Velikovsky's Earth in Upheaval with this 6th installment of the series. In this episode we look at fossil plants and insects preserved in coal seams, seemingly shredded into small pieces yet preserved so well that the color of the insects is intact and leaves still contain chlorophyll. We also look into the mystery of the formation of coal itself, and how there are often dozens or even hundreds of layers of coal separated by layers of marine sediment. Near the end of the book, Velikovsky again takes a look at the works of Charles Darwin and the problems of speciation in evolution by the mechanism of natural selection, and the assumptions about "missing evidence in the geological record" that must be made in order to make the uniformitarian view work. We also open some great 1-Up boxes and read some emails, and Kyle reads a couple of very interesting space related articles.
Diving deeper into Velikovsky's book, Earth in Upheaval, we look at submerged caves and rising seas, stranded shorelines and ancient lakes, old water levels now tilted many degrees off the horizontal, strange glacier flow evidence and always unexpectedly young dates for artifacts, fossils, and geological features. We talk about the magnetic field of the earth and the evidence for field reversals in recent times, and what a field reversal might cause in the biosphere, and what could possibly be the mechanism for such an event, deep within the planet. We talk about enormous lava flows, more erratics, sea caves that are now dry, and dry caves that are now submerged. All of which seem to have happened very quickly, and catastrophically. Also, what is the Fine Structure Constant?
Furthering our deep dive into Velikovsky's book, Earth in Upheaval, we read and discuss about the evidence of sea-bottom sediments not matching up with expectations of uniformitarian theory, with deep sea clays showing evidence of cosmic dust from meteorites being over a thousand times more abundant than was expected, with sands from what was once seashore beaches being found miles underwater. We also read about the enormous African Rift, which spans one third of the distance from pole to pole, and shows evidence of having been formed recently, by the sharpness of its features. We also dive into the problems if past ice ages seemingly having taken place in what are now equatorial regions, and what that might mean for possible pole shifts, or crustal shifts, and how that process might work in terms of physics and geophysics. We also discuss some things going on in our work lives with the olive orchard and leaf cutter ants, as well as give a brief overview of our thoughts on the Coronavirus.
Continuing with Earth in Upheaval, we first loop back again to the section on Charles Lyell and the beginnings of Uniformitarianism in geology, re-read some of the quotes of Lyell, and parse them more carefully, just to make it clear exactly what this man was saying about early geologists and their "indolent" tendencies. We then skip ahead to where we left off last episode, continuing forward with more mass depositions of fossil bones of enormous amounts of animals, all packed into relatively small areas, caves, tar pits, and strata. We talk about mountain ranges moving miles across plains, about huge uplifts that must have happened relatively recently, and end with a discussion of the Altiplano in Peru, and Lake Titicaca, where the ancient and anomalous Tiahuanaco is located.
We continue our deep dive into Velikovski's excellent book, Earth in Upheaval, first backtracking a bit from the last episode to go over the "beginnings of Uniformitarianism", the early study of mass ice movements in places around the globe, and some of Charles Darwin's observations of the evidence for the catastrophic extinction of species. Then we move forward in the book to look at more instances of enormous amounts of plant and animal remains that are found broken, shattered, and crammed into caves and crevices around the world, where they are found fossilized today. Also, in the second segment of the show, we interview Marc Young, an archaeology student from Australia who has been helping George Howard assemble a bibliography on the Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis on the Cosmic Tusk website. We talk to him briefly about how he became interested in archaeology and how he got involved with George. We then spend a lot of time talking with him about his work in Northern Mongolia, where his University has been doing some archaeological work on ancient cultures, and how Marc began to recognize the geological signs of catastrophic events that must have taken place in the relatively recent past. He then takes us on a fascinating Google Earth tour of the area, showing the path of meltwater and the signs it has written into the landscape. Anyone interested can follow his placemarks by clicking here and opening the file in Google Earth or Google Maps. Enjoy!
We start a new deep dive into another book, Immanuel Velikovsky's Earth in Upheaval. Unlike his earlier, very controversial book "Worlds in Collision", which sought to tie ancient myth and legend together with ancient texts and oral traditions found around the world into a coherent narrative of global cataclysm, Upheaval has no myth, no legend, no lore. Instead, it is packed full of geological observations by some of the world's most renowned scientists and geologists. It paints a clear picture of a catastrophic past that is written into every feature of the planet. This is the first of a series of episodes where we will be focusing on the material in this excellent book. Also, we tried a little experiment with this episode....we streamed the audio of the show live to our Discord chat members, who got to hear some of the inside baseball of producing the podcast, and of course the banter between the breaks. They also got to troll us live in the chats window, which we did have open during the recording of the show. It was a lot of fun, and we'll probably do it semi-regularly from here on! So join the Discord if you want in....link can be found here. Enjoy!
Darren from the Grimerica Podcast flew all the way down from Canada to hang out on the Plateau and do Texas stuff with us(guns, bbq, and podcasting). We had a lot of fun, sent a lot of lead downrange, blew some shit up, brainstormed future Contact at the Cabin events, and sat down in the Tangent Cube for a bit of podcasting. We talk about how we got started, what it is like as the show grows and the support starts coming in, what it's like trying to get guests, and more. We tell Darren we try to keep politics out of our show, and he tells us if we talked politics we'd probably have a million listeners by now. After the hour with Darren we went off to party for a few days, returning to the Tangent Cube on Monday to finish up the episode by catching up on listener communications and spaceweathernews. Enjoy!
After the excellent conversation we had with Chris Dunn, Robert Vawter, and Eric Wilson last week regarding new developments in Chris' work on lost technologies in ancient Egypt and the Giza Power Plant concept, we still felt we had to return to the final chapters of the book and complete the deep dive properly. We also have George Howard on for a long segment to give us an update from the front lines of the Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis debate, focusing on Dr. John Hoopes' claim that The Bibliography, available at George's website, The Cosmic Tusk, is "biased". We also talk some Carolina Bays, which is always fun. At the beginning of the episode, we read a bunch of emails that have been backing up, and also open a couple of 1-Up boxes. Enjoy!
As we reach the penultimate episode on our deep dive into Christopher Dunn's work, we are joined by none other than the engineer and author himself, as well as two of his colleagues: Robert Vawter, a sound engineer with a degree in anthropology, and Eric Wilson, an engineer who works for Rolls Royce, who has recently become interested in Chris' work in Egypt, and has had some interactions with members of the ScanPyramids Project. We are also joined in-studio by Archer Finley, our engineer friend who gave us a lesson on the History of Precision in episode 117. The six of us have an excellent and fascinating conversation about Mr. Dunn's work, focusing especially on the idea of the Great Pyramid being a machine for the purpose of generating power. We are able to ask Chris a few of the questions that have come up as we went through his books, and Robert and Eric both give explanations of their work and perspectives and how they compliment Chris' original ideas, as well as how that idea has evolved as more information has come out since the writing of the book. Don't forget to visit Chris' website, for more information and to follow his continued work. We hope you all enjoy this interview as much as we did!
We cover material from chapters 9-12 on this episode, diving deeper in the the strange features within the Great Pyramid, and reading about Chris Dunn's hypothesis on what this ancient structure may actually have been for. Kyle also reads a relevant article about the story of Caliph Al-Mamun who supposedly dug his way into the great pyramid, creating the rough cut tunnel that tourists use today to enter the structure. We still haven't completed the book by the end of this episode, so there will most likely be a part 5.
We continue our deep dive into Christopher Dunn's excellent book, "The Giza Power Plant" in this third installment of the series. We follow Mr. Dunn's musings on the enigma of Coral Castle, and how one small man was able to move enormous amounts of weight around and construct a megalithic park by himself, with no help from anyone else, and how this should change our perspective on ancient megalithic builders. We also start looking at the resonant qualities of the Great Pyramid, it's connection to earth dimensions, and what that might tell us about what the purpose of this structure actually was.
To see images for this episode, check our website.
We continue in our exploration of the history of discovery in the Great Pyramid, on the Giza Plateau, and in Egypt in general, by way of Christopher Dunn's book, "The Giza Power Plant". We make some corrections from part one, then dive into the mysterious "Well Shaft" feature that connects the Descending Passage to the bottom of the Grand Gallery. We also read through Dunn's consulting with various experts in stonework, and his own experiences inside the Great Pyramid, the second(Khafre) pyramid, observations at Aswan, and inside the Serapeum.
Having enjoyed Christopher Dunn's "Lost Technologies of Ancient Egypt" so much, and having finished with John Anthony West's excellent "Serpent in the Sky", we decided to "stay in Egypt" and tackle Dunn's earlier work, "The Giza Power Plant". And, like in "Lost Technologies", Dunn's practical engineering mindset and perspective immediately appeals to us. He also gives so many fascinating details regarding the Great Pyramid that are completely absent in most popular literature. We spend this show immersed in the first chapters of the book, reading excerpts and discussing the many strange aspects of this most ancient and mysterious structure.
After we catch up on space weather news and listener emails, we read an excellent article on an ongoing experiment to "domesticate" foxes, as remarked upon by many astute listeners in response to Russ talking about "no modern analogues" of animal domestication. We were wrong, as we often are! But this story still holds interesting implications re: ancient domestication of animals. After that, we dive back into the final parts of John Anthony West's "Serpent in the Sky", finishing up with the Sphinx, and finally reading about how skerptards are still skerptards and no one can seem to do anything about that.
We have an excellent discussion about all things ancient and mysterious with Mike and Maurice from the Mind Escape podcast. We talk about ancient structures, the mystery of the beginnings of agriculture and animal husbandry, global mythic stories, the deluge, the confusion of tongues, and much more! We also talk about how we all got started in podcasting and in exploring mysteries in general, and the value of seeking better questions rather than "answers".
We continue our deep-dive into John Anthony West's excellent work, "Serpent in the Sky". In this episode, we finish with the main body of the book, but there are three appendices regarding the Sphinx, each written later in time as things developed. We are able to get through the first one, and partway through the second(which is about the arrival on scene of Dr. Robert Schoch), but even though we went a bit long, we weren't able to finish it or get to the third. So the next episode will have the conclusion to this series.
After completing our three-part deep dive into Christopher Dunn's "Lost Technologies of Ancient Egypt", which was a very technical look at evidence for advanced engineering in Egypt, we thought it only fitting to dive right in to John Anthony West's excellent book, "Serpent in the Sky", which is another look at evidence of advanced concepts in ancient Egypt, only this time in a much more philosophical, metaphysical, and mathematical way. Unlike Dunn's book, "Serpent in the Sky" is not interwoven around a travel narrative, and is also full of rather deep philosophical and esoteric concepts, which makes it more difficult to "synthesize" for a podcast, but we are going to do our best. This is part one of the attempt.
We conclude our deep dive into Christopher Dunn's excellent book, "Lost Technologies of Ancient Egypt" in this final episode of a three-part series by looking at Dunn's work and observations in Dendera, at the Temple of Hathor, and the ultra-precise machining evidence there. We also read some of his quotes from Flinders Petrie, the "father" of Egyptology, about the evidence for anomalous cutting of very hard stones in ancient Egypt. And we conclude with a reading of part of Chris' conclusion of his book, where he lays it all out and basically says the standard model is wrong, whoever built these monuments and carved these objects had machine tools, and more importantly, machine-guided tools.
This is part two of what is now obviously going to be a three-part series on a detailed look at engineer Chris Dunn's book, "Lost Technologies of Ancient Egypt". In this part, we go back to the beginning of the book where Dunn is studying aspects of the many enormous monolithic statues that can be found in temples all over Egypt. Again and again, his studies find evidence of advanced planning, advanced machining, and the ability to check precision to a very high degree of accuracy. We also read some very interesting accounts from the book, taken from the writings of explorers from previous centuries who delved into the Serapeum tunnels when the entrance was still concealed under sand. There is so much information in this book! Part three coming next week.
Ben from UnchartedX joins us to talk about "the case for rewriting history", his travels to ancient sites around the world, and his excellent work on his fast-growing youtube channel. Ben has been to Peru and Egypt several times each, traveled with Graham Hancock and Brien Forester, and taken many terabytes of high quality video and photographs of mysterious aspects of ancient sites, some of which are not easy to get to. All in all it was a great conversation covering many of our favorite topics.
Bulldozer Rampage Ben has a fantastic gallery of images from his travels already available on the web. Take a look! most of the topics we cover on this episode have relevant images in the gallery. UnchartedX Website
We catch up on listener emails and comments and open a couple of 1up Boxes. Then Kyle reads a story about recent cattle mutilations in Oregon and we spend some time discussing the history of this strange phenomena and what the "popular" explanations are. For the second half of the show, we dive into Christopher Dunn's excellent book "Lost Technologies of Ancient Egypt", looking at the Unfinished Obelisk in Aswan, an anomalous piece of granite with strange tool marks in Abu Roash, and the infamous "Core #7" found by Petrie. All of these objects hold clues as to the methods for working stone that were used by the ancients, and Dunn does an excellent job investigating them.
Check our website to see photos for this episode.
Archer joins us again in the Tangent Cube to give a slideshow presentation about precision. What does it mean to do precision work? How do you get a perfectly straight edge, or a perfectly flat surface? How do we do it in the modern day, and what does that mean for highly precise work done in ancient times? This was an awesome conversation. We really recommend watching the youtube video so you can see the slides, or you can visit our website.
We go through a bunch of news stories and listener emails that have been building up, leading to discussions on numerous topics such as accoustic levitation, cosmology, cosmic rays, the Edfu Building Texts, and more. We also talk about our recent week-long trip to the state of Vermont, and our explorations there to find the Calendar 1 and Calendar 2 stone chambers, our tour of a Serpentine Marble Quarry, and also a bit about our explorations of another site that is somewhat controversial in terms of its possible origins.
To see the images from this episode, check our website.
We are joined by the hosts of the Conspirinormal podcast for an excellent swapcast-style discussion on ancient mysteries, strange conspiracies, comparative mythology, cryptids, ufos, Men in Black, the paranormal, and many other topics.
We discuss a wide-ranging array of topics, from cosmology and dark energy to mysteries of the ancient Americas. Continuing our conversation from the previous episode regarding the Anzick skeleton, we dive deeper into the enigma of the mysterious Clovis culture, and the possible tool-type connections to the ancient Solutreans of Europe. The Watcher joins us for the final segment to talk about the oddities of the DNA connections.
We discuss the mystery of the Clovis people, and the strange fact that there has only been one set of human remains discovered that are linked to the tens of thousands of artifacts and habitats spread across much of North America that are considered part of the "Clovis Complex". In the second half of the show, we talk about the Suspicious0bservers youtube channel and their take on past extinction events being linked to the sun from superflares and/or micronovas.
We continue our exploration of the anomalous phenomena detailed in the book "Unexplained!" by Jerome Clark. More strange rains of weird stuff, anomalous ice falls, animals being discovered encased or "entombed" in stone, concrete, coal, and wood, luminous phenomena in the open ocean, and sightings of Unidentified Submarine Objects. We also read an article about quantum teleportation of information, and an old underground "temple" that may be linked to the Knights Templar.
This is the first of a series of podcasts where we look at strange anomalies of all sorts - ufo sightings, stange clouds, poltergeist-like phenomena, rains of stones, rains of fish, frogs, snakes, salamanders, blood, tissue, bones, rotting flesh, and more. We also discuss the amazing metallurgy of a 2,500 year old sword found in a tomb in China, and the legends of "flexible glass" invented by an ancient Roman.
This week we have Scottie Baldwin join us to talk about his career as a FOH Engineer for world-class music acts, traveling the world, the philosophy of science, ancient mysteries, the physics of sound, and a possible encounter with a ghost in an old theatre. All in all it's an excellent conversation, much thanks to Scottie for coming on the show!
David Mathisen joins us to talk about comparative mythology, astronomy, and constellations as symbols that cross cultures and enormous swathes of time in human history. We did some screen sharing of images and the Stellarium application in this interview, so if you want to see what David was showing us, check our YouTube channel for the video. We also talk a little bit about some interesting gelological concepts, and discuss the upcoming Contact at the Cabin event we'll be hosting along with Grimerica and David in Utah.
We are joined once again by the one and only Randall Carlson for an epic show on numerology, sacred geometry, astronomy, ancient mysteries and knowledge, magic, symbolism and esoterica... all that great stuff Randall talks about when he's not talking about geology. Also joining us is Brad Young, who has worked with Randall for over two decades, planning and organizing Randall's trips into the field to examine and study the marks of past catastrophes in the geological record.
To see the slides Randall showed us during the course of the podcast, check our website. If you want to see the screen sharing video to get the full effect, check out our YouTube channel!
We are joined by Chris Cottrell, the man behind the Dabbler's Den, to talk about his ongoing research into the Carolina Bays, the Younger Dryas, and the possibility of a large oblique impact into Saginaw Bay in the Great Lakes region. Chris gives us the rundown of the work of Antonio Zamorra and others who have done work on the Carolina bays and what they think may have caused this enormous field of geomorphic features in the landscape of the eastern seaboard of the United States. He also gives a great(and terrifying) minute-by-minute description of the catastrophic event that resulted in the Bays, and what it would have looked like from the ground.

We talk with Dr. Martin Sweatman about his book, Prehistory Decoded, and his work on the symbols on the pillars of Gobekli Tepe. Dr. Sweatman applies his understanding of statistical analysis and the scientific method toward testing new ideas about Gobekli Tepe's symbols possibly being related to zodiacal imagery and the Precession of the Equinoxes. From there, he is able to take another look at ancient symbols across a wide range of time, from as far back as ~40,000BP and as recent as late neolithic to the early bronze age, showing that there may be a commonality across an enormous expanse of time, and that humans have been using a "language of the stars" that possibly stems from an exceedingly ancient common source. He also has a section in his book detailing the work of the Comet Research Group and the Younger Dryas Impact Hypothesis, and how recent developments in the science of astronomy show that earth encounters cometary debris far more often than had previously been thought. All in all it is a fascinating discussion! Follow Dr. Sweatman and his continued research on his blog and on Twitter @martinsweatman1

We take a deep dive into genetics and tracing ancestry by way of The Watcher, who knows a lot more about this subject than we do, and thus is better able to explain how no one really knows wtf is going on. We also read a bit about possible connections between Pictish symbols and images seen at Gobekli Tepe, and also the now-infamous planned mass-incursion into Area 51 by millions of Naruto runners.
We read and discuss several articles detailing new discoveries in human origins, that push back the timeline of the spread of homo sapiens around the world, and their interbreeding and interactions with other hominin species such as Neandertal and Denisovans. We also read an article about a remote region in Russia that has strange magnetic fields, where compasses and even watches don't function properly, and people often report bizarre sightings and physiological effects. In the final segment, we talk about physics and cosmology, and how some things just don't seem to add up in the standard model.
We talk about the mystery of civilizing knowledge, esoteric information, and technology being "injected" into cultures around the world from time to time across history. Where does this information come from, really? We also read our regular spaceweathernews updates and lots of new listener communications.
We have a two hour conversation with Darren and Graham, the hosts of the excellent Grimerica podcast, about censorship, ancient mysteries, podcasting, pyramids, going to Mars, and much more! We had a lot of fun with this conversation. This swapcast went out live in full video through the Grimerica stream, so if you want to watch the video, you can find it on Grimerica's YouTube channel.
We have a fantastic chat with Tom, a fellow CAC attendee, who has followed Randall Carlson's work for years and brings a unique perspective to the study of catastrophic geology in North America. His decades of experience working as a scientific glass blower and seeing the patterns and reactions of molten glass to various stimuli have led him to a new way of analyzing very large patterns in the geology around certain areas of North America. We then spend the next few segments describing our most recent SnakeBros SnakeForce Field Trip where we drank hundreds of beers in a river named after the devil, found lots of amazing ancient artifacts and dozens of world-class fossil footprints, located ancient beach sand in the middle of the desert, ate tons of tacos and pancakes, and destroyed an innocent cloud with mind bullets. The mysteries we saw in the field lead us into a conversation about the larger mysteries of human habitation in the Americas, ranging from the controversial Huyatlaco site in Mexico to strange carved stones found in the northeastern U.S. Enjoy! Note: The following images are screenshots of the actual photos, which was done to mask the geolocation data in order to protect the landowner's privacy. Note 2: The stock iPhone podcast app does not display images. iPhone users should use the following link to see the images: Episode 57 webpage
This is one of the best sets of hominid printsThe "mine shelter". This is taken from across the canyon; the grassy area beneath the overhang is the ancient scree of gravel sliding down the hill from the shelter. Just like mine tailings of modern mines.
SnakeBros Cave Case - All the artifacts we found while digging
Note the Neanderthal print outline, top center...
...now compare it to this print
Look at the center print, labeled Homo Erectus...see how the big toe is prominent while the other toes are missing....and the age given, 1.5 million years
....now compare that to this print...narrow profile, big toe prominent....
....and another one, same profile, right foot instead of left
....and another, right foot This print is degraded by water erosion , but is still recognizable as a hominid print
Perhaps an animal print? Or a degraded human print, very small, wearing some kind of footgear
This looks like a very large human print, angled to the left, with a smaller print on its right side, angled right
Degraded but still visible, size normal for a human print
The lighter is next to a fairly clear print, notice all the degraded imprints around it
Prints and toe marks
I think this guy slipped a bit
Two prints side by side, right one larger than the left. Again note all the imprints around them, particularly the print on the lower right
Lots of prints, toes are clear in most of them
Very clear set of toe marks from a right foot. Forgot to place lighter on this one, dammit Large foot. Toe prints.
Small foot. Toe prints. This and the following two images are of very similar large prints of similar depth and size, but I have no idea what they are
Mammoth? Or some other very large animal.
Another mammoth-ish print.
If this is a print, it is enormous. Forgot lighter, but the print was at least a yard long
Big print, some animal The Hominid Path
The whole field of prints. Note the definite walking pattern of the large circular prints heading away from the camera. Note that they continue underneath the hill to the right, because it wasn't there at the time the prints were made
Incredibly deep, absolutely enormous print. Note the lighter inside the print to upper left
For comparison, here is a huge sauropod print from Australia

Stone of the Pregnant Woman, Ba'albek, Lebanon. Until recently, this was the largest known cut stone block in the world. Estimates range from 1000-1400 tons. That's up to 2.8 million pounds.
More recent photo. Block from the first pic is the one on top. It is sitting on top of two more giant blocks that are even larger, estimates range between 1400-1800 tons, or up to 3.6 million pounds.
Stone of the South. Somewhere between the Ba'albek quarry and the Ba'albek ruins, like it was in the process of being moved but something caused the work to stop, and it was never started back up. The lines and notches in the block are from people much more recently using the block itself as a quarry.
The Unfinished Obelisk at Aswan Quarry, Egypt. This is the place where a lot of the high-quartz-content granite used in many ancient monuments in Egypt came from, the famous "pink granite" of Aswan. This obelisk is enormous, as can be seen by the size of the people standing on it. It is more than one third larger than the largest known standing obelisk.
Yangshan Quarry, China. This is one of three gigantic objects in the quarry, supposedly parts of a stele that was going to be erected in a nearby city but these were abandoned as being far too large to be actually moved. We find this very hard to believe. That is a lot of work and a huge mistake, no pun intended.
Another part of the "abandoned stele" in Yangshan Quarry. Seems like somebody should have figured out "this is waaaaaay too big guys" long before they did so much work. You know?
