2024 MSC Cruises Japanese GP - full report by Peter Windsor

Revisit all three days of the Japanese GP with Peter Windsor - from Friday, when Mercedes showed lots of promise, through to the weekend, when Red Bull, McLaren and Ferrari remorselessly rose to the top.  Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez drove beautifully to create another one-two for Red Bull-Honda - and the Ferrari drivers were impeccable, too: Carlos Sainz finished a strong third and Charles Leclerc nursed his medium Pirellis in the first stint for 25 laps eventually to finish P4.  Aston were P5 with Fernando Alonso but Mercedes continued to fall away.  229,000 fans watched the race trackside and a further 240,000 have already watched Peter's YouTube analyses from Suzuka.  Now it's your turn to download and enjoy the key elements of the race.

2024 F1 Rolex Australian Grand Prix - full report by Peter Windsor

Relive the three days of the Rolex Australian GP as they happened with Peter Windsor. Although Max Verstappen took the pole for Red Bull after a relatively scrappy practice on Friday, his early retirement paved the way for a momentous one-two victory for Ferrari.  Carlos Sainz, facing an uncertain future following Lewis Hamilton's 2025 Ferrari signing, not only out-qualified his team-mate, Charles Leclerc, but also out-raced him to the flag. The two McLaren-Mercedes finished a strong third and fourth, Lando Norris ahead of Oscar Piastri - but there was controversy on the penultimate lap when George Russell crashed his Mercedes in spectacular fashion after being confused by Fernando Alonso's early braking manoeuvres with his Aston Martin.  Peter talks about all this and more in this latest Short Corners podcast.

2024 F1 Saudi Arabian GP - full report by Peter Windsor

It may have resulted in another one-two finish for the reigning champions - for Red Bull, Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez - but on this night in Jeddah there was plenty of action amongst the supporting cast, specifically amongst Ferrari, McLaren, Mercedes and Aston Martin.  Charles Leclerc and Oscar Piastri took the major honours - but huge was also the drive of 18-year-old Oliver Bearman, standing-in for Carlos Sainz at Ferrari.  Peter Windsor in this podcast looks back at all three days of running in Saudi Arabia.

Peter Windsor's livestream (inc. Scarbs Bahrain update) Feb 21, 2024

Craig Scarborough's Bahrain update features strongly in this livestream - aired, as it was, after the first day of F1 testing.  Craig talks at length about the "non-zero" sidepods on the Red Bull RB20, and about the overall design philosophy of the car.  There's lots of analysis, too, of the new Ferrari and Mercedes.   With so many questions and comments coming in from listeners, we extended this livestream to 3hr 30min - and it's all here for you to enjoy at your leisure.  A big thanks to everyone who took part.

The new F1 cars for 2024 - as detailed by Craig Scarborough

Craig Scarborough talks us through the new F1 cars for 2024.  In addition to detailing the new Ferrari, Mercedes, McLaren, Red Bull, Aston Martin, VCA, Alpine and Sauber, Scarbs also talks about the return of anti-dive/anti-squat suspension geometry; beam wing and DRS developments; the pros and cons of pushrod and pullrod layouts; and the parity - or not - of the power units.

Peter Windsor's (full-length) livestream, Feb 07, 2024

Before taking questions and comments from viewers and listeners, Peter talks through the new Sauber C44-Ferrari - a car that for a brief moment appeared under the team name "Stake" (before the Swiss government enforced its tight gambling regulations).  The discussions then continue from last week: the impact of Lewis Hamilton's move to Ferrari; the poor treatment of Mario and Michael Andretti; the potential repercussions of the Christian Horner accusations; the future of Carlos Sainz - and the Norris/Piastri face-off.  All this and much more in this latest livestream from Peter.

1962 German GP, Nürburgring. Conditions: wet. Very wet.

We invite you to take a trip back in time - to a wet, soggy Nürburgring - as we re-live the 1962 German GP with Peter Windsor.  The race resulted in a classic win for BRM's Graham Hill - but that was just the start of it.  Hill was lucky to survive a lurid practice crash;  Porsche, with Dan Gurney, were superquick after a week of testing; and for a while on Sunday, with mudslides making life perilous for the 350,000-strong crowd,  it seemed as though the race might not happen at all.  Peter  details these  events and more - and concludes this podcast with an assessment of the astonishing success of BRM chassis no 5781.  With 23 top-ten finishes to its credit, is it the most successful GP car of all time?

Peter Windsor's livestream, January 17, 2024

Peter Windsor's second livestream of 2024 begins with a look back at the career of John Webb, who passed away last week.  A motor racing entrepreneur in the truest sense, John was known for his WebbAir charter service, as a sage commentator with Autosport and as a race promoter for Motor Circuit Developments in the great days of Brands Hatch, Snetterton, Mallory Park, etc.  Peter then takes questions from F1 fans around the world, the flavour of which can be found in our chapter headings.  This podcast has been edited from the original for reasons of length.

The great Mansell F1 years

In this first episode of a new series, we are delighted to be joined by David Brown,  Nigel Mansell's Race Engineer throughout Nigel's race- and championship-winning years at Williams.  Based now in the US, where he is in charge of Porsche North America GT3 and GT4 on-track performance, David talks to Peter about his early days at Williams; winning with Nigel and the FW10B-Honda; the Golden Years of 1986-87, when the Williams FW11 and FW11B-Hondas were producing over 1100bhp; and about the 1991-92 seasons, when the Patrick Head-Adrian Newey Williams FW14 and FW14B-Renaults were the class of the F1 field.  As Peter was also the Williams team manager at this time, our chat with David naturally includes lots of laughs about shared incidents and timeless memories.
