July 27th, 1996. Atlanta, Georgia. During a free concert at Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park, security guard Richard Jewell spotted an abandoned knapsack and reported it to a GBI agent. Authorities soon discovered the knapsack contained a live bomb and the agent and Jewell began evacuating people from the area. The bomb detonated minutes later, killing one person and injuring more than 100 others. Days later, Jewell became the main suspect in the bombing.

Jeremy Foy is a former Marine and a former Federal Law Enforcement officer. He has been releasing videos on tiktok stating that he knows that his grandfather, Richard Hoffman, a former police officer, was the Zodiac killer. I have no way of knowing if he was. May 8th, 1996. El Reno, Oklahoma. Deputies found the body of Terrance Yeakey, an Oklahoma City police officer, in a field off a rural road. Terrance died of a gunshot wound to the head, but he also had cuts on his neck and wrists. A year earlier, Terrance saved at least three people in the aftermath of the Oklahoma City bombing. On December 11, 2017, a 21-year-old mother, Libby Caswell, was found dead in the bathroom of a motel in Independence, Missouri. On January 31st, 2011 Johnny Clarke and Lisa Straub were found dead inside Lisa’s home. Their hands were bound, and plastic bags were taped over their heads. March 29th, 2019. Columbia, South Carolina. Samantha Josephson was spending the evening with her friends celebrating her recent acceptance into Drexel University School of Law and her upcoming graduation from University of South Carolina. Her long-term boyfriend was going to be moving to Columbia to live with her during law school. She had been texting her boyfriend all through the night and told him that she was getting an Uber ride home around 2 a.m. on March 29th. Samantha never made it to her apartment; her driver actually went the opposite direction. This driver wasn’t her Uber driver, it was a man that had been driving around the area hunting for a victim. She was found later that morning about an hour and a half away from Columbia with around 120 stab wounds. Investigators moved quickly to find Samantha's killer before he could harm anyone else.

December 30, 1999. Welch, Oklahoma. On December 30th, 1999 authorities responded to a fire at the Freeman family home outside of Welch, Oklahoma. The bodies of a married couple named Kathy and Danny Freeman were found in the wreckage, but they didn’t die in the fire. They died from gunshot wounds to the head. Their daughter Ashley Freeman, and Ashley’s best friend Lauria Bible, who was sleeping over that night, were gone.

January 16, 2009. Chattanooga, Tennessee. In October 2019, Angel Bumpass was found guilty of first-degree felony murder and especially aggravated robbery for the 2009 murder of Franklin Bonner.
