After not hearing from Dwayne for a couple of days, his mother Cookie went to his and Jack’s home to check on the horses and dogs. She stayed there a couple of days waiting for the two to come home, but instead, she went missing, too. Jack's remains have now been found, but the other two remain missing. // December 14, 2015. Lakeland, Georgia. Brandon Lee Helms’ life took a downward spiral after he was laid off from a job he loved. He fell into depression and began drinking heavily. Misty, his wife, decided it would be best for their two daughters if they separated. Brandon went to live with his best friend. It would be from there that Brandon would disappear, leaving behind his pickup truck, cell phone, and cigarettes.
