Already as a teenager, Nico discovered his fondness/preference for producing electronic music. In the process, he didn't commit to any particular genre. Only the German techno scene caused him to specialize in techno production. During this time, he, among other things, acted as a DJ in various clubs in his hometown. After some years, he had the impression that he hadn't developed further, and thus, he decided to try electro music. Nico noticed very soon that it was the right challenge for him, and so ELEKTROTECHNIK emerged in 2017. Now he was able to process his emotions and feelings, which didn't leave him unscathed due to current topics. Since then, ELEKTROTECHNIK has put all his energy into the production of electro music. It's definitely been worth it so far because there have been multiple releases on different labels, such as NoteRecordings, Tigerweeds, Fanzine and A.Traction, where he has already released 5 EPs. Originally from Paris, SOD-90 started producing alongside his studies as a flutist at the renewed university of classical music from Berlin. Combining his knowledge from a wide range of musical backgrounds with his experience as a professional instrumentalist, he crafted an intense sound, characterised by noisy textures, scorching synth lines, with distorted drums and twisted vocals. All this added to complex and dynamic arrangements. After only a few years since he started producing, SOD-90 has already been supported by some of the biggest names on the scene and has released on Avoidant, Bipolar Disorder records, Emotional Voyage, with more in the pipeline very soon. He intends to continue exploring creative approaches to production, aiming to evolve his style towards an increasingly powerful and unconventional aesthetic. Adam X's illustrious music career began in 1990 in Brooklyn, NYC, where he was born and raised. His earliest productions were released during this period, and he quickly gained momentum as one of the most adept DJs on the global underground techno scene. Alongside pioneer and brother Frankie Bones, he opened the doors of Groove Records in Brooklyn as America's first true outlet for underground electronic music with a direct focus on the techno genre. The Groove Records team also took part in organizing the first techno events ever to take place in NYC, including the legendary Storm Rave that started in 1991. Storm Rave was the first all-techno warehouse party organized on the East Coast of America, featuring line-ups with many up-and-coming artists who would later become global techno cult figures. The Sonic Groove label was born in 1995 at the upgraded Manhattan location of the shop (which also changed its name from Groove Records to Sonic Groove during the transition). Adam continues to operate the label in an exemplary and innovative way, with over one hundred releases to date, focusing on an assortment of techno music styles from many well established artists across the electronic music spectrum. A unique perspective and acute knowledge of music can be recognized in his DJ and live sets, which have always retained a unique sense of an uncompromised approach to the dance floor. Adam's approach facilitated acid techno's dominance in the early to mid-nineties, and he nearly single-handedly put the Industrial and EBM Techno cross-over genres on the map for the first two decades of the millennium. Now, Adam returns to his purist techno roots with a hard but deep thought-provoking sound, one combines the past, present and future of this timeless music. ona:v is a Polish-born DJ, producer and promoter with an ear for textural techno and dark electro. A scientist by day and a DJ by night, the Edinburgh-based artist is an integral figure in her locale, both as a standalone name and through event curation. Having built an extensive track collection for several years, ona:v debuted on Edinburgh?s club circuit in 2019, with bookings across the UK making up her diary since. On home turf, ona:v plays regular gigs in Scotland?s biggest venues, having supported Ben Klock, Isabel Soto, Clouds, Paige, EKATA and many others. Outside of Scotland, she closed for Clouds and Randomer at The Cause, played at London?s Risen Festival and in Berlin?s Mensch-Meier and About Blank. 2022 saw her Polish debut, and in 2021/22 she streamed from Berlin?s HÖR Radio. Kairogen's journey into music production began during her time at art school when a lecturer suggested incorporating a sound piece into an installation project. This sparked her passion for club culture and led her to delve into the world of Detroit techno and electronic music as an art form.   Through her work in album art and her experiences at Sub Club, a renowned nightclub, Kairogen gained a deep understanding of the electronic music scene and honed her musical preferences. The influence of peak-time music in the club environment has greatly impacted her own artistic style, driving her to explore sounds that complement the edges of dance music. Ribé is the synthesis of a whole life dedicated to techno, without taboos, without rules, but with rigidity, severity, and an almost sickly desire to create new sounds. That unique sound did not go unnoticed and it was soon selected by some of the most important techno labels of the international scene like Polegroup, Axis and Semantica. Born and bred in the suburbs of Stockholm, Lakej (Filip Ström) comes from a background in visual arts and graphic design. After many years in this field and some life changing experiences, he felt the need to move on to a more abstract medium. Already being fascinated by electronic music and techno in particular, the dive into production and hardware came natural. With a huge love for details and rhythmic structures his music has evolved into an introspective, futuristic and yet timeless sound. With intricate textures, atmospheres and deep driving rhythms his music invites you to be swept away into hypnotic states, both in comfort of your own listening space as well as on the dance floor. Oliver Rosemann is a DJ and producer from Leipzig, who has been active since the 90?s. During this time, he has made his experience with timeless techno exactly in the time of its creation, which can be seen later in his productions and DJ Sets. In the Leipzig scene he played numerous live sets in the early 2000s, including at the 1040, one of the legendary clubs of the time. Increasingly, he began to show himself in public not only as a pure live act but also as a track producer. He oriented himself out of the local scene and tried to place his music directly internationally. With the collaboration with MasCon called "dualit" he had first big releases on labels like Earwiggle, CLR or Fith Wall Records and also international gigs e.g. in Antwerp. But after that his solo project should be in the foreground again. Oliver got his own EP on Sunil Sharpe's label Earwiggle. The "Pointing from the Moon EP" was released, which was the starting signal for numerous following releases. To date, there are close to 180 tracks and remixes, including 3 LPs, released on labels such as MindTrip, MORD Records, Warm Up Recordings, Pole Group, Stockholm LTD and many more. Another promising collaboration was to follow. Pfirter and Oliver started producing together in 2019 and presented their first joint 4 tracker ?Alpha EP? in 2020 on MindTrip Music and it was a huge success. To date, the collaboration of the two includes several releases and B2B DJ Sets and there will be a few more. Oliver is also present on stage. Whether as a live act or as a DJ, he knows how to create a dark, driving, ecstatic atmosphere on dance floors. He has already proven this in clubs like Tresor Berlin, Distillery, Institut für Zukunft, About Blanc and also in other countries in Europe. Numerous podcasts recorded by him or live cuts from parties, which were released over the years by renowned crews such as "Reclaim Your City" or "Staub", show this. In 2021 he founded his own record label "Recorded Things", which he now runs together with Sebastian Rothermel. Cravo, is the solo project of Pedro Cravo, member of the tag team -2 [menosdois] and one of the founding members of Hayes Collective. From deep to tough, his sets and live acts are designed for the dancefloor, oscillating between the various aspects of techno, house and electronic music in general. All crafted in order to take dancers on a journey full of groove and psychedelic loops. Born in Lisbon, graduated in audiovisual arts, he had his first contact with music production, DJing and notion of rhythms and instruments through Dub and Reggae in mid 2007. Also being in love with Blues, Jazz and Afro Music, and in a phase of great inspiration, he created his first musical project, namely PeterSmiling - a heteronym. In this era he was also a part of the collective I?n?High Sound System and starting to compose and produce his first original music. A first interest in producing and playing techno sparked in 2010. Influenced by his schoolmate, Vasco Guerreiro, who introduced him to this - at the time - new world of sounds. Through digging deep in the history of this new world, Cravo acquired more of a vision of becoming an electronic music artist (and also a bit of a raver). The musical influences at that time were ranging from techno in various forms to house - especially the blossoming genre of minimal - further to Psy Trance. All these musical influences have opened new frontiers both on the creative and production side. With the afforementioned Vasco Guerreiro, Cravo subsequently came together to form -2 [menosdois] in 2011. To relaunch his seminal imprint, Infrastructure New York, David Sumner aka Function presents his new 12", Green EP. Irish-born, Manchester-based Kerrie is a multi-disciplinary artist, incorporating live sets, DJing, producing and running her label Dark Machine Funk across her repertoire of work. Having garnered a rich musical education through working at and holding a DJ residency for one of the UK's most respected record shops Eastern Bloc, Kerrie's in-depth knowledge and unwavering dedication to music shines through her notable back catalogue and bolshy, unforgiving DJ and Live sets. Honing her craft for over a decade, Kerrie has played worldwide in celebrated venues such as Tresor, Berghain, fabric, FOLD, Elsewhere NYC and festivals including Freedom Medellin, Freerotation, Drift and Basilar. First learning to mix via her brother's turntables in the early 2000s, it wasn't until 2009 that Kerrie invested in her own set-up and built an extensive record collection, covering everything from ambient, electronic, house, EBM, acid, electro, and her go-to genre, techno. Kerrie delivers tough moods from the turntables, as conveyed in her mixes for Reclaim Your City, Bassiani, SLAM and Crack, where she carefully blended high-energy styles of UK, Detroit, and European techno, many of which stem from the 90s and the 00s. It's frequent to hear Kerrie weave broken elements into her mixes too, chopping up the 4/4 groove at just the right moment to keep things propulsive. Kerrie's Live sets are fast becoming renowned for their trippy motifs and high impact on the dancefloor, applauded by Berlin's long-running club Tresor, where she made several appearances with her Elektron machines. Kerrie's Live set at Freerotation in 2019 was one of the festival's most talked-about debuts, and this year, Kerrie will return to and debut at multiple festivals and clubs across Europe and the Americas. Following well-received releases on labels such as Don't Be Afraid, Cultivated Electronics, I Love Acid and Symbolism, Kerrie launched her imprint Dark Machine Funk [DMF] in 2020. The label homes her distinctly raw aesthetic and honours her love for dark, gritty, metallic and industrial sounds melded with elements of funk, heavily influenced by second-wave Detroit artists, UK techno and music by some of her favourite artists; James Ruskin, Blawan and Surgeon. Kerrie's first release on DMF, "Inner Space PT1", was praised by Resident Advisor, who credited her ability to make "lean, fierce techno that knows how to groove." 2022 was a watershed year for Kerrie's productions. She debuted on the monumental UK techno label Blueprint with her EP "Raw Regimen", which landed acclaimed reviews. Truly welcomed to the Blueprint family, Kerrie will share her second EP on the label in May 2023 and join the crew at Blueprint showcases around the globe. This year marks the release of Kerrie's 10th EP on vinyl, and considering her consistent output on DMF, Blueprint and many more labels, the producer shows no sign of slowing down. Coming to international prominence in more recent years, regardless of her decade-long tenure in Manchester's vibrant scene, Kerrie is deeply invested in the culture of electronic music, starting from her teenage era as a raver in Ireland up to her innovative projects today. In 2017, she founded Eastern Bloc's in-house event space to nurture local talent, which remains at the heart of Manchester's music community.
