In this season 7 opener, things at Degrassi begin with murder & mayhem - just kidding, there was no murder (but there were the after effects of a murder). Lakehurst is forced to join Degrassi CS after a fire eliminates their building. This unification brings new characters and packs the drama on thick. This season finale was incredibly dry in its last scene, but it was a fun ride along the way. Terri does well on trivia this week! Emma continues to get on our nerves.

In this week's episode of Degrassi, Jay is the continued keeper of bad ideas and Marco is the catalyst. I have no idea what I'm saying: Marco makes some piss poor choices and Peter makes us vomit. Terri has a 50% on trivia, and some fans wrote into the show!

New year, new look, new Paige! Terri starts the year off right with a 100% in trivia! Emma starts the year off terribly by doing the most. It's an episode full with blonde on blonde crime and we are having none of it this week. Tune in to hear our questionable thoughts.

PPP isn't just for loans, it's also for People Pleasing Paige - which is how she gets into this predicament in the first place (wow, that's a lot of alliteration). If you're holding out for a new villain to replace Jay or Spinner, look no further because the king has officially arrived. In this opening episode for season 6, we learn that Manny was right about ya boy Peter all along. Also, Ellie experiences dorm life and it's boring.

In this season finale episode, we're treated to two fights & several surprise guests - one who might be staying. For the occasion, Terri decided to ace trivia this year and Chris is mad her job doesn't allow her to watch Degrassi on the clock anymore.

Terri came out of this episode scoring a 25% on trivia questions. This might be her lowest score yet.

CW: disordered eating/exercise habits. In this two-part episode of Degrassi, Chris & Terri cover the one time Emma fell down a rabbit hole of disordered eating and Hazel called Alex what she is: poor and fashion-impaired. Oh, and Snake realizes he's tired of sleeping on Joey's couch so he makes an effort to get Spike back. Tune in to find out which trivia questions Terri aced and failed.

In this episode of Degrassi, Spinner decides that he answers to a higher power named Linus. Emma answers to a higher power called minding everyones business but her own. Terri is going to get a 40% at trivia, and it's pretty sad to listen to. Tune in to find out who got Chris sick.

In this episode, the God of Wifi tries to hold us back and yet we persevered. Terri almost aces trivia this week, we share some fun tidbits, and Ellie makes a damn fool of herself.

Liberty wasn't hiding her pregnancy from her world; she was hiding the world from her pregnancy. In this episode, we discuss how accidents will happen, and Terri takes another stab at trivia. Spinner explores the idea of forgiving himself in the absence of forgiveness from others.

Do y'all know what's going to keep Paige warm at night? Those degrees. You have to be this old to understand that joke. Paige prances through the halls of Degrassi this week telling anyone who will listen (which isn't many) that she's going to Banting to receive a business degree and she's going to be set for life. Will she jeopardize her future by one impulsive mistake? No, she will jeopardize it by many, but more on that later.

If your mother is worth a damn, you grew up hearing the age-old phrase, "everybody ain't ya friend." Unfortunately, Sean's mother is not worth a damn and so he did not grow up hearing this phrase, and it shows. When Tracker takes a job in Alberta (which is a province in Canada, not a city), Sean is faced with a problem: should he stay or should he go (look at him sounding like Craig in S3E7). Sean tries to stay, but he makes a mistake when he reveals to the wrong people that he no longer has any supervision at home. Meanwhile, JT struggles to be the bigger man and look past Manny's past. 

Welcome back Degrassi Panthers. We are entering Spinner's redemption era arc as he is now okay with Marco's "gayosity" and helping him to prepare for Marco's first date with Dylan! Joke is on anyone who's rooting for Terri in this plot line. It turns out her storyline is the true whisper to a scream that we weren't expecting. Tune in this week to hear our thoughts, or listen on mute in order to protect yourselves. 

This title is a bold-faced lie because Craig absolutely needs to lie if he would like to keep his current girl, and gain himself a new one. Meanwhile on Degrassi Street, Snake is feeling miserable and trying to find some company by bringing everyone down around him. Spike has had enough so she sends him to the bowling alley with some old friends to get it together. Tune in this week to find out how Craig lies his way into the hearts of two women this episode with one song. 

In this week's episode of Degrassi, we realize how flimsy high school relationships can be (both friendship and romantic) when both parties don't take time to take care of each other. Is splitsville in the air for Emma & Sean? Who stole Mr. Simpson's laptop? Why did JT have a sexy dream about someone, and is it foreshadowing? Tune in to hear our thoughts as Chris fumbles through remembering which episode we're on, and Terri keeps her on track.

Degrassi finally has started going there this week. Marco explores his sexuality a little more in depth, much to the upset of Spinner (who Terri identifies is entering his villain era). Meanwhile, we don't even get a palate cleanser in this episode because plot B covers Snake/Mr. Simpson's cancer diagnosis. Even worse, these topics are so serious that Chris & Terri didn't even have any fun person anecdotes to take the pain away, but we did do some trivia! I'm really grasping for straws here. It has finally arrived: Chris & Terri recap the most iconic episode of Degrassi known to humans. This episode serves as inspiration for the common quote, "Manny Santos walked so Maddy Perez could run." Manny opts to change her look from cute to hot by wearing a thong which was seen around the world (kind of awkward being an adult watching this, but we briefly touch on this in the episode). Meanwhile at Degrassi (or rather, the Jeremiah household) Craig tries to take his music career to the next level, but he is overshadowed by Joey's incredibly embarrassing advice. This week on Below the Dot, we have a special guest who goes by Manny Santos, IRL sister of Angie Jeremiah/Terri McGregor - basically, there's a lot of fun packed into this episode. We review and recap the one time when Emma took a 45 minute train to Stouffville, ON, Canada to find her biological father. Meanwhile at Degrassi, Spinner was playing Monopoly with lockers to gift Paige the best (free) anniversary gift. In this week's episode of Degrassi TNG (Drive) Craig reminds Joey that he isn't his father, and Joey thanks his lucky stars but continues to do the lord's work and care for Craig anyway. This may be the first time we are saying this, but it will not be the last. Meanwhile on Degrassi street, Ellie reminds Ashley that she isn't like Paige so Ashley doesn't need to worry about impressing her. All around, our Degrassi students are learning all about peer pressure this week and how it's better to listen to their own hearts versus the external influence of others. 

Love is in the air in the Isaacs-Kerwin household. Toby has finally found a special someone who shares his interest in anime, but will her older brother threaten his chance? Meanwhile, Ashley finally found the words "I'm sorry" for both Paige & Jimmy but makes a clown out of herself by trying to juggle too many high school boys at the same time. Join Terri & Chris this week as we recap S2E4: Karma Chameleon and share all of our unsolicited opinions on this episode's plot. 

It's a double Throwback Thursday feature: Terri & Chris are taking a stroll down Degrassi memory lane where in the show the students attend an 80s dance! We finally discover who Craig (dressed as Sid Vicious for the 80s dance) would choose to be his leading lady, & it may not be the person you were expecting. Meanwhile at Degrassi, Spinner accuses Jimmy of reverse racism in a new intelligence low for the boy, but at least we get a good laugh out of it. In this episode, Snake gives a horrible pep talk to Sean, which may explain how Sean ended up rolling around an alley fighting with Jimmy against the wishes of Emma. Is there a producer in the house because Degrassi talent is on the panther prowl to get signed by someone lucky. In this episode, Paige & Ashley once again fight each other to get noticed by absolutely no one (because no one is checking for them). Meanwhile, Emma does the absolute most as she tries to educate the school about the hunting of panthers by way of interpretive dance. Unfortunately, no interpreter existed in the audience and therefore the message flies over the heads of many, specifically Jimmy Brooks. Chris & Terri are once again forced to relive a time when Spinner took things way too far - is this a character trait? - and leading a teacher to take a leave of absence.
