372 - Pummelling phasers, Replacing pickguards, Capacitors and Resistors

Is Brian the Larry David of the pedal world? He certainly resembles him according to Richard and the guys chat about some TV before Blake notices Brian isn't paying full attention. Strymon have released a new Phaser with an interesting name and Richard loves the look of it. Brian is not yet convinced but the guys chat about it and whether or not you need that many options for a phaser before Blake waxes lyrical about the depths of modulation he wishes to reach before the guys talk about pedal aesthetics and minimalism.


Fender have announced the new Player Plus range and they are going to sit right at the top end of their "Made in Mexico" line with some colors that got leaked. This causes Brian to go to an Italian website and he becomes confused by cookies. Mmm...Cosmic Jade...and is Dark Night the Antigua burst of this generation of Fender guitars?


Richard has attempted the simplest piece of guitar modification possible - and it went horribly pear shaped - so he tells us about exactly what went wrong and why you should listen to the advice of others. Except him. He's one of the top three stupidest people on this episode. The guys try and sell him on the benefit of a decent soldering station. Yes, it got nerdy as hell at this point.
