Jack Black is on The Simpsons! Yes, THE Jack Black! However, apparently it was more important to forget all about that and give us another Homer/Marge "marriage in crisis" type story.

When a new comic book store opens across the road, The Android's Dungeon goes out of business. Marge then turns the location into a successful gym for women. Neither of these stories get resolved.

Santa's Little Helper becomes a police dog and after a rough couple of days on the job, he bites Bart out of anger, leaving him to go live with Lou.

Homer, Moe, Apu and Skinner become volunteer firefighters, however when they realise they aren't being paid, they begin stealing from those they're supposed to be helping.

A pretty solid story with a rather weak execution, but at least it gave us the classic "no kids and three money" quote.

After costing the Springfield Isotots the championship game, Bart becomes the most hated boy in town. Meanwhile, Homer becomes a mattress salesman at Costington's and helps the Lovejoys with their intimacy issues.

Honestly, the title of this episode is really fitting, as the Bart story truly leaves you feeling bummed out. The Homer/Lovejoys story was a bit of fun though.

After saving Springfield from a fire, Bart is awarded his own driver's license, leading him to North Haverbrook where he meets a teenage girl named Darcy (voiced by Natalie Portman).

Meanwhile, Lisa pretends her family has Native American heritage.Honestly, the Bart story was pretty fun, especially the reversal of him now having to give others a lift.

Lisa's story was harder to buy into, although it's believable that someone who's worked so hard for her academic reputation to be afraid of being caught out in a lie that has escalated beyond her expectations.

It's another trilogy episode, with this one focusing on the theme of "revenge". Normally these are pretty pointless, and this one is to an extent, however the last two segments are almost Treehouse of Horror worthy. A pretty fun episode overall!

Is this a Christmas episode? Not really. It's more of a "how can we take away the one thing we like about the Gil character?" type of episode.

After Gil is fired from Costingtons on Christmas Eve, The Simpsons agree to let him spend the holiday with them. However, he never leaves. Even when asked, he guilt trips his way into staying longer. What a morbid, sad and overall dreadful episode. Grampa accidentally costs Springfield it's own football team, which means everyone, including his own family, hate him. As a result of all of the neglect, he then attempts to end his life via euthanasia.When that fails, he decides to live life without fear and becomes a matador, killing bulls, much to Lisa's dismay. Then suddenly she uses the guilt trip on him of "I was always cheering for you", except when you weren't. Just a real downer this one

Bobcat, Pete, King Louie, Cheshire Cat and Shredder, just to name a few.

Now fans can relive their childhood, courtesy of Cummings’ exciting new podcast, Toon’d In! with Jim Cummings. With a blend of character deep-dives, Q&A shows with fans, as well as conversations with some of the biggest names in pop-culture, Toon’d In! provides fans with exclusive insights and never-before-heard stories.

Of course, the show’s first episode focuses on arguably Cummings' most iconic role, the honey-loving Winnie the Pooh, detailing how he landed and perfected the voice back in the late 80s.

Next week’s show will be a character spotlight on Cummings’ most popular contribution to the Star Wars universe, Hondo Ohnaka (available now, early and ad-free on Patreon).

Thanks to the incredible journey that has been Cummings’ voice-acting career, he’s been fortunate enough to befriend the who’s who of the animation world, with legendary voice-actor Billy West set to be the first guest to sit down for a chat on the Toon’d In! podcast. Cummings has partnered up with Brendan Dando and Guy Davis of Australia’s Four Finger Discount podcast network, who will be co-hosting the show alongside Jim and his step-son Christopher Judge, who is also serving in a producer role.
