Rumours are that the delay in publishing this was caused by Lanterne's embarrassment regarding the terrible performance of his velogames team, others say that Benji Naesen has been channelling the spirit of Fortunato for his Eolo-Kometa PCM series since his Zoncolan win and has not been contactable since. All that we know is, Bernal won the Giro, got covid, visited the Pope with a special rim brake bike and here we are rounding out the Giro d'Italia 2021 a few days before the Tour de France.
