Mauricio Garcia is an animistic perfumer based in South San Francisco at the foot of San Bruno Mountain. His work aims to nourish relationships between plants, people and the more-than-human world. Rooted in perfumery’s ancient origins and botanical occultism, Herbcraft Perfumery is an independent fragrance studio specializing in the creation of fragrant enchantments and magical anointments. Mauricio draws upon 18 years of working with and learning from herbalists, medicine makers, master craftswomen of perfumery, spiritual practitioners and, of course, plants and spirits themselves. He is an advocate for perfumery’s stewardship of the environment and its reclamation as a sacred substance.

She studied astrology with the Faculty of Astrological Study in London where she learned traditional astrology and was able to understand the language of the cosmos. Fascinated by the unseen world and the human mind. She has been studying all kinds of magic and signed up for many psychological classes in the city. Her practice of astrology is intertwined with the tarot which helps her get more insight into the transit. As an activist and politician, Karima's purpose is to help people during a period of time where they feel lost and misunderstood by the world.

Mariana is a Circassian Astrologer, Writer and Creator. Born and raised in an ethnically segregated area of Russia, she moved to the US at the age of 18. Before pursuing astrology as a career she graduated from theater school in NYC, worked as an event organiser and grant writer for Environmental non-profit. From the moment she started the exploration of the Cosmic language in 2011 everything began to change and shift. Astrology has become a tool of self-discovery, slow unfolding of the potential and a language through which one can connect to the Cosmos and to one’s true self. Mariana has studied Astrology on her own for 4 years before she began taking courses at Moscow Academy of Astrology. She likes to weave traditional astrological techniques with modern astrological findings. Mariana believes that the main purpose of her work is to help students and clients to find their own inner teacher, guide and connect to their unique path through the art of Astrology.

Madre Jaguar is a Reiki Master, Shamanic Healer, Clairvoyant, Tarot Reader, Teacher, Birth Doula and Intuitive Artist.

Madre Jaguar has always walked between worlds. They are the child of Salvadoran immigrants; of Mayan, Pipil, and Garifuna descent. Born in the vortex of Los Angeles, California and raised in the land of mysticism and magic realism, Mexico - where they currently reside.

Nature was their first teacher. Most of their childhood was spent observing and studying the cycles and seasons of Earth, connecting and experimenting with the energy of the elements, animals, herbs, plants, flowers, rocks, crystals and beings seen and unseen. As a child, their maternal grandmother, Mama Carlota, taught Madre Jaguar ways to communicate with the plant kingdom; to sing to them and to listen to their songs. Their Abuela also taught them ways in which these plant allies could be used to treat all kinds of ailments from a tummy ache to a broken heart.

As an adult, a passion for helping others and a strong desire to help propel positive change in the world, led Madre Jaguar on a path of self-discovery and exploration of different healing modalities including Tarot, Traditional Mexican Medicine, Energy Healing, Folk Magic, Womb Wisdom and Herbalism. They have studied with indigenous healers and teachers in Mexico, Central America and Peru. It was in the Amazonian jungles of Peru where they received the name “Madre Jaguar,” which translates to Jaguar Mother. This name was gifted by plant spirits with the mission and commitment to become a protector and friend to all.

Madre Jaguar believes that Love is our superpower. As human beings we are here to bless and be blessed by all of creation. Harmony and Joy are our birthright. Karima is an Astrologer, Tarot Reader, and Witch. She studied astrology with the Faculty of Astrological Study in London where she learned traditional astrology and was able to understand the language of the cosmos. Fascinated by the unseen world and the human mind. She has been studying all kinds of magic and signed up for many psychological classes in the city. Her practice of astrology is intertwined with the tarot which helps her get more insight into the transit. As an activist and politician, Karima's purpose is to help people during a period of time where they feel lost and misunderstood by the world.  

Mariana is a Circassian Astrologer, Writer and Creator. Born and raised in an ethnically segregated area of Russia, she moved to the US at the age of 18. Before pursuing astrology as a career she graduated from theater school in NYC, worked as an event organiser and grant writer for Environmental non-profit. From the moment she started the exploration of the Cosmic language in 2011 everything began to change and shift. Astrology has become a tool of self-discovery, slow unfolding of the potential and a language through which one can connect to the Cosmos and to one’s true self. Edgar Fabián Frías is a nonbinary, queer, indigenous (Wixárika), and Latinx, multidisciplinary artist, curator, educator, and psychotherapist. They work in photography, video art, sound, sculpture, printed textiles, GIFs, performance, social practice, and community organizing, among other forms. Born in East Los Angeles in 1983, Frías received dual BA degrees in Psychology and Studio Art from the UC, Riverside. In 2013, they received an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon, with an emphasis on Interpersonal Neurobiology and Somatic Psychotherapy. Frías is a 2022 candidate for an MFA in Art Practice at UC Berkeley.

Their work has been exhibited internationally, including the Vincent Price Art Museum, SOMArts, Oregon Contemporary, MOCA Jacksonville, Performance is Alive, Project Space Festival Juárez, and ArtBo, among others. What does it mean to be a modern witch?   

Kris Adams, a Black Spiritualist/Mystic, is a native of North Carolina and currently resides in the DMV area. With their background in education coupled with personal and communal dream practices, Kris actively  dreams of a collective reality where all bodies feel safe to not only explore their own dreaming, but also allow dream dimensions to guide them in traversing new paths toward connection, healing and growth. Supported by crystals, tarot, rope, ritual/spell work, energy healing, individual and collective dream practices, and ancestry work, Kris is furthering the legacy of their cultural dream lineage to tend sacred spaces for collective dreaming and healing.
