In this week's episode, we begin our exploration of "Obsidian," which is track 3 on Night Demon's new album, Outsider.  Listen as we take you inside the studio for a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process.  You will learn how, over the span of roughly three weeks in October 2021, "Obsidian" evolved from a mere intro riff into a nearly complete song.  Along the way, the guys share early demo recordings as well as their recollections and insights about how the various parts came together.  They also explain why they view "Obsidian" as a progressive, complex and technical piece, but one that always returns to something familiar and unmistakably Night Demon.
