Episode #239 - The Demon's First Strike in Basel, Switzerland

In mid-September 2024, Night Demon and Cirith Ungol joined forces for a short run of shows through Europe. This week's episode memorializes the first of those gigs, which occurred in Basel, Switzerland.  In their 800+ concert history, Night Demon had never performed in that city before.  You will hear about the band's travel arrangements to Switzerland, their impressions of the city and the venue, and the outstanding promoters and strong opening acts. Both Night Demon and Cirith Ungol enjoyed fantastic sets in a packed house; however, it was a difficult night for Rocky because of a series of wardrobe and technical malfunctions. The usual commentary by band and crew is supplemented by insights from longtime Night Demon fan and friend Stephan Bachman, a native of Basel who attended the show.
