Episode #39 - Heavy Metal Mixtape - Part 5

This week we bring you part 5 of our exploration of the Heavy Metal Mixtape, a limited edition cassette released on Night Demon Records in October 2015. The band explains why there was no pre-order or pre-release hype for the Mixtape, and how that meshes with Night Demon's marketing philosophy.  They also talk about the importance of featuring bands on the Mixtape with whom Night Demon has a direct relationship. The bulk of the episode is devoted to the Mixtape contributions of Visigoth, Savage Master, Salvacion and Venomous Maximus.  In each case, you will hear detailed commentary from Jarvis, as well as band members, about the band's history, its connection to Night Demon, and the significance and meaning of the song.  There is a heartfelt tribute to the late, dearly missed Carlos Denogean. And a couple of audio clips are discussed, including a must-hear story about Jarvis's 12th birthday party.
