The conversation also touches on the power of self-love, appreciation, and connecting to ourselves, emphasizing the importance of compassion, love, and overcoming fear to achieve personal fulfillment.
The Power of Trust and Self-Healing
According to Dr. Marks, the key to healing and recovery lies in trusting our inner voice. This voice can guide us through life's challenges and help us make better decisions. However, it's essential to differentiate between the fear-driven voice and the loving voice within ourselves. By recognizing the aggressive, fear-based voice and the quieter, loving voice, we can navigate through internal conflict and make better choices.
Forgiveness and Healing
Forgiveness is a crucial aspect of healing, as it allows us to express and process our emotions. Dr. Marks discusses the difficult journey towards forgiveness and how self-blame often lies at the root of our inability to forgive others. She also highlights the challenges that men face in expressing their emotions due to societal expectations and the potential negative impact of technology and artificial intelligence on our emotional well-being and interpersonal relationships.
Validation for Traumatized Children
In the age of social media, young people are more connected than ever, yet they are also less related and forming fewer meaningful attachments. Dr. Marks acknowledges the importance of communicating openly with teenagers, valuing their insights, and supporting them through any challenges they may face, including those related to trauma. By focusing on contributing positively to social media rather than seeking validation, we can help mitigate these issues.
Exploring Addiction
Dr. Marks explores the nature of addiction and whether it is an inherited or learned trait. She considers the idea that addiction is a brain disorder and examines the different forms of addiction beyond drugs and alcohol. Various options for treating addiction, including twelve-step programs, therapy, and inpatient or outpatient treatment, are also discussed. Personal growth and spiritual development are crucial in overcoming addiction.

Responsible pet ownership is a vital part of caring for our animal friends and ensuring their health, happiness, and safety. One of the first decisions that pet owners must make is where to source their pet and what type of pet they would like. For example, if you choose to get a rat, you can either buy a rat from a breeder or a feeder bin rat. When assessing the health and friendliness of a rat, look for a clear coat, bright eyes, alertness, and a friendly attitude.
Pigs are also a popular pet choice and the Kony Kony is the smallest breed. They have a fascinating history, and are known for their intelligence and adaptability.
When it comes to rat rescue, the goals include finding homes and offering medical care, food, and toys. Rat rescue is made possible by a tight-knit rat community, but coordinating activities and care can be difficult without a facility. To this end, some have proposed creating a greenhouse and roadside vegetable stand to serve as the building for the rat rescue.
Time management, breakfast favorites, and the paranormal are often discussed in the rat community, but don't forget about the power of getting involved in your community. Even if you don't have your own historic building, there are still ways to help out and make a difference.
When it comes to rat ownership, it's important to remember that rats are social creatures who need companionship. Multiple rats are usually recommended, as having a single rat can lead to loneliness and depression.
In conclusion, responsible pet ownership is an important part of caring for our animal friends. We should all strive to source our pets from reputable breeders and assess their health and friendliness. Rat rescue is a worthwhile endeavor, and we should all look for ways to get involved in our community. Lastly, rats need companionship, so multiple rats are usually recommended.

Blood cults have been a common theme in fiction for centuries. From ancient stories of gods and goddesses to more modern tales of vampires and werewolves, blood cults have been a source of fascination for readers. The power and mystery of these cults have captivated readers for generations, and they continue to be a popular topic in books, movies, and television.
The power of blood cults is often rooted in the supernatural. They may be associated with dark magic, and their members may be granted special abilities or powers that ordinary people do not possess. In some cases, these abilities may be used for good, while others may be used for evil. In either case, the power of blood cults can be a source of great fascination and terror.
In Daniel Bautz, Life Is In The Blood we are introduced to a preacher who is part of a blood cult. This cult requires its members to drink the preacher’s blood in order to gain power and immortality. The preacher is on the run from the law, and he is eventually tracked down by a famous author and a sheriff. The author is looking for a great story, while the sheriff is looking for vengeance for the preacher’s actions in his town.
The story of Life Is In The Blood serves as a reminder that power can be a dangerous thing, and that it can lead to corruption and destruction if it is abused. It is important to remember that power absolutely corrupts and should be used with caution. Blood cults exist in fiction to remind us of this, and they are a great way to explore the power of the supernatural and the consequences of abusing power.

We all have a calling, a purpose in life that is uniquely ours. For some of us, it is easy to recognize, while for others it may take a lifetime to uncover. For Jeannie Thompson, a former Fortune 50 executive and author, it was a journey of self-discovery that led her to her true purpose.
Jeannie started her career as an evidence-based psychotherapist, treating anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders. She then moved into the corporate world, leading high potential and leadership development programs and eventually becoming a Fortune 50 executive. After 12 years in the corporate world, she decided to explore the world of energy, something she had once made fun of. This exploration led her to become a Reiki master, certified yoga teacher, and to learn all she could about energy work and the power of the visible and the invisible.
It was this journey of self-discovery that inspired her to write her book, 9-1-1 From Your Soul. In it, she shares her story of how she followed her soul’s calling to pursue a career that she was passionate about. She believes that when life challenges us, when our plans fall apart, we become open to exploring and expanding our understanding of wisdom and solutions that simply may not have been available before.
Love is the answer to so many of our struggles and challenges. It is the answer to our innermost questions. It is the answer to our needs and wants. Love is the answer to our pain and suffering. It is the answer to our loneliness and despair. It is the answer to our fear and anxiety. It is the answer to our anger and sadness. It is the answer to our confusion and uncertainty.
When we choose love, we can create a life of peace and harmony. We can make decisions that are based on love rather than fear. We can be more open to new ideas and opportunities. We can be more open to giving and receiving love from others. We can be more open to the joys of life, and to the opportunities that come our way. We can create a life of balance and harmony.

Jim Malliard welcomes viewers to The Malliard Report, a podcast recorded in front of a live virtual audience. He reminds viewers that the views expressed on the show are not necessarily reflective of the show’s sponsors or affiliates. He then introduces his guest, author, explorer, and site manager of the South Pole, Wayne L. White, who has written a new book about his experience there.
Jim and Wayne discuss the challenges of managing a 46-person crew in the South Pole, and Wayne shares his experience of walking in the winter darkness of the South Pole.
Wayne White is an explorer who has walked thousands of miles and never missed a day outside. He joins us to talk about his incredible experience of becoming the station manager at the South Pole. Despite the hardships and feeling helpless of a global pandemic, Wayne and his crew prevailed and he is alive to talk about his journey.
He explains that he had always been attracted to harsh conditions and the great explorers of the past, prompting him to pursue his dream of working overseas. He was lucky enough to land the job at the South Pole and is now honored to be able to talk about it. The conversation is about the speaker's experience of moving from the tropics to Antarctica. He had seen advertisements for the job and jumped at the chance to go. He was aware of the differences between the two places, including the temperature.
He had grown up in the Midwest and had worked in Alaska, but never experienced cold like when he first arrived at the South Pole. The conversation also touches on the recent cold snap in the US and how it was a good day in Antarctica. In this conversation, Wayne talks about a picture of them taken by Dr. Jeffrey Chan after a long walk in the cold.
They talk about how they were wearing warm clothes and knew how to deal with the cold weather. White also mentions budding photographers down there who practice during the winter and how the biggest challenge was the batteries due to the cold. They mention a video taken for the Explorers Club in 2020 which doesn't have any outtakes.

Gregory Shushan is the guest on the Malliard Report. He is the leading authority on near death experiences and afterlife across cultures and is the author of numerous books, including the most recent one, The Next World of Extraordinary Experiences of the Afterlife.
Gregory and Jim are discussing Gregory's new book, The Next World: Extraordinary Experiences of the Afterlife. Gregory explains that his previous two books are published by Bloomsbury and Oxford University Press and are intended for an academic audience, which is why they come with a hefty $110 price tag. He wanted to write something more accessible and affordable for people interested in near-death experiences. His new book looks at the idea of the afterlife from different cultural and religious perspectives. It is both accessible in terms of academic language and affordable for readers.
The narrator has always been interested in unusual phenomena and began exploring after reading a book called Phenomenon. During his first degree in Egyptian archeology, he noticed similarities between ancient Egyptian beliefs of the afterlife and near-death experiences, such as leaving one's body and entering a realm of light and meeting a being of light. He decided to pursue the subject and make his work accessible to a broader audience.
The conversation discussed near-death experiences (NDEs) and how they are symbolically expressed in ancient cultures. It was mentioned that in ancient Egypt, the dead were associated with the god Osiris and that part of the afterlife journey involved encountering the corpse of Osiris in the other realm. This realization that the corpse is one and the same as the dead body on Earth is what allows the spirit to continue on to the afterlife. Contemporary NDEs involve the spirit rising out of the body and looking down to see their dead body lying there. This realization allows them to accept the reality of what is happening to them and accept their own death.
Gregory then explains that the NDE is not the only way to explore the afterlife. He suggests that lucid dreaming, out-of-body experiences, astral projection, and other forms of non-ordinary consciousness can allow us to explore the next world. He also discusses the importance of integrating these experiences into one's daily life and how they can help to facilitate a deeper understanding of life and death.
Finally, Jim and Gregory discussed the importance of looking at the afterlife from a spiritual perspective, and how it can help to provide comfort and understanding in our own lives.

Jim Malliard welcomes Tanner Campbell to the show. Tanner is a philosophy writer and podcaster who focuses on bringing the philosophy of stoicism out of the pages of history and modernizing it to a more practical and useful way of individuals living today.
During the interview, Tanner discusses his new book, Living Well: Stoic Ideas for a Better Life, and how stoicism can be applied to modern day situations. He shares some tips on how to live a more stoic life, including the importance of self-awareness, focus, and detachment. Zeno of Citium was a Greek philosopher who founded the Stoic school of thought in 300 BCE. He got the idea for Stoicism after he was shipwrecked and lost everything he owned. He went to the Oracle of Delphi for guidance and she told him to take on the power of the dead.
Zeno interpreted this to mean that he should study the great thinkers of the past and learn from their wisdom. Stoicism is a philosophy that emphasizes self-control, rationality, and stoic acceptance of the things we cannot change.
In the 300 BC, a man named Zeno of Citium had a dream in which the goddess Athena told him to become a philosopher. He took this to mean that he should become pale like the dead, as pale people at the time were often indoors reading books. He went on to found the philosophy of Stoicism, which is based on the idea that the only good is the development of a virtuous character. Stoicism quickly caught on, and Marcus Aurelius, who reigned from 160-180 AD, is considered the poster boy of Stoicism.

The Malliard Report is a virtual live show that airs on Tuesday nights at 9:00 pm Eastern. The show is hosted by Jim Malliard, with his son and daughter as regular guests. This week, the focus is on bringing the family together for 2022 and giving them a break for the rest of December. They talk about the cold weather coming across the country and how to stay warm during it.
The speaker and his wife discuss his son's experiences with the paranormal and his daughter's love for animals. The speaker explains that he wanted to share these experiences with the listeners to add value and provide context for why things are the way they are around their home. The speaker and his wife then discuss the importance of responsibility and how it teaches their children.
The speaker and Skyler discuss the responsibility of taking care of animals, the emotional support that animals provide, and how the cycle of life is represented in taking care of them.
The interviewees discuss the importance of Skyler's radio show in terms of his being able to express himself and be heard. They talk about the difficulty of getting him into a good school, but how Skyler is doing well now that he is in a cyber charter school. They mention that one of his teachers was impressed with him after listening to the show.
So a big, like going to investigate this whole dumpster diving phenomenon, culture, I guess recycling kind of thing would mean us driving an hour and a half somewhere. So Jim doesn't appreciate it when I look at him at 1000 at night and I'm like, let's go dumpster diving.

The conversation is about the difficulties the speaker is having with technology. They are trying to get a video up for their daughter to show off her pets, but the program keeps crashing. They express their wish that the program would just crash so they could restart it.
Two people are talking about a pet rat. The rat is mostly white with some tan markings on its back. It is two years old. The person recording the conversation notes that the video program is having difficulties, but decides to continue recording and post the video anyways. The conversation then turns to discussing the details of the rat.
The speaker has six pet rats, three of which are female. The oldest rat is female and likes whipped cream and scrambled eggs. The second oldest rat is Celeste, who is black and white. She is one year old in human years, and will turn two on the 21st. She likes to run on her wheel and eat anything. The third rat is white with red eyes, and likes to eat whipped cream and strawberries. The fourth rat is male and likes to eat eggs. The fifth rat is Saturn, who is the speaker's favorite.
The person talking has nine pets, including rats, bearded dragons, geckos, and a dog. They say that the rats are small, only a pound and a half, and that the bearded dragons are big, about the size of Saturn. They also have a turtle that just sits in its tank all day.
And what's your exposure? What's your liability as a pet owner? I don't want to take my pet out in public because if my dog bites somebody, we're in trouble.
Having an untrained animal in the store is very dangerous for everybody. And I don't know if you remember that one animal we saw that was growing in the shopping cart.
It's very important for people to realize that faking a service animal, you can also get in trouble if your little mutt gets out of your shopping cart and attacks an actual service animal or the service animal's handler.

Almost 40 years ago, one of the fastest growing religions in Japan was officially established. Happy Science as it is known is rooted in the principle of doing good within the world. Happy Science Members focus on attaining enlightenment through activities such as daily self-reflections, giving love, and helping create a modern utopia. This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes one of the key speakers of the movement Yoichi Utebi to the show to discuss the faith, his career as a producer, and much more.
“Yoichi Utebi is a producer and world lecturer for Happy Science. Born in Japan in 1968, Utebi grew up in Beirut, Lebanon, and New York City. Raised in a rare Japanese Christian family, he was deeply touched by Muslim culture and the beauty of Lebanon during his formative years in Beirut. However, the Middle East also exposed Utebi to the horrors of war, as he and his family dodged bullets and bombings before fleeing to London and back to Japan, leaving everything behind in a sudden evacuation. In the 7th grade, Utebi moved to New York for 10 years, where he was exposed to friends from multiple cultures and ethnicities. His rock band produced a popular album and gained quite a following in the city before Utebi decided to forego his musical pursuits and return to Japan. After 12 years of experience in marketing and senior management at various American IT companies in Japan, Utebi joined Happy Science in 2010, where he quickly rose to Director of International Communications. Utebi is currently a minister and world lecturer for Happy Science and a producer on The Cherry Bushido.”

“Everything I know about love is taught by the people who really never loved me. We strive to be loved… we do… and we hope to be loved back but sometimes what we give is not returned in the same authentic way… so let’s don’t allow this to change our heart. Let’s learn from it. Keep on spreading love around as love is really all we need.”
The phrase “you get what you give” certainly comes to mind with this week’s guest on The Malliard Report. This week Jim welcomes Claudia Noriega Bernstein to the show. Claudia is an artist, writer, philanthropist, life coach, mentor, mother, and wife. During her career as a journalist, she has worked for magazines and television in South America and the US, touching subjects from parenting, forgiveness, and growth to political issues.
Claudia has placed an emphasis on her role as a life coach because she believes everyone deserves a helping hand, a shoulder to lean on, or someone to help shine light on a dark path ahead. She wants to see people improve, achieve their goals, and help live the life that they have always dreamt of. If you want to schedule a coaching session with Claudia, or purchase one of her books, you can head over to her website brighterdaybooks.com and you can find many of her session on YouTube.

"Woo Woo For Your Boo Hoo.” Psychic abilities have been long researched, tried, debated, and utilized for centuries. While many “academics” may be quick to write it off, the fact is that there is something to it. Why else would the CIA put so much time and money into conducting tests like remote viewing and OBE research? This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes a guest that has jumped far into the deep end when it comes to this kind of stuff. This week Jim welcomes Julie Guthrie Smulson who happens to be a remote viewer, medium, channeler, healer, wearer of many other hats, and is here to discuss her incredibly busy life doing such.
“Julie is an Author, Spiritual Healer & Podcaster. As an author Julie is passionate about sharing her lifetime and lifetimes of experiences with the world. Julie’s intention in all that she does is to help others overcome their personal traumas and challenges so they can become happy and thriving individuals. Through Julie’s own personal traumas and challenges she has been endowed with the gift of being a highly sensitive empath. Julie’s empathic abilities allow her to help others through her business Spiritual Alchemy Energy Transfigurations as a Reiki Master/Teacher and Sound Healer. Julie developed a strong belief in spiritual healing from her own healing journey. Julie’s journey has led her to start her podcast Spiritual Alchemy Energy The PODCAST with Julie. Julie’s podcast highlights other healers, lightworkers and authors. Julie believes that everyone possesses unique and special gifts that they are sent here to share with others. Julie believes that the healing process takes many different forms and paths to find that golden gift within each one of us, but when that golden gift is found and utilized in the world - the world is forever changed for the better.”

What seems to be a near monthly occurrence, the morning news highlights the latest in the billionaire’s pissing contest, and we get to watch another rocket hurdle through the atmosphere. While the achievements are absolutely remarkable, and the fact that space travel has now become a “civilian’s” game, it still sits in the “unobtainable” category for the average person. You, me, or any other Joe Schmoe can’t really hedge any bets that we will be bolting ourselves into a seat, strapped to literal millions of pounds of thrust any time soon. Let alone be able to afford to do so. (Maybe you can, and I apologize for assuming otherwise) But what if there was an easier way? Something that could be done at the touch of a button, like…and elevator. Yes, and elevator to space. This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes Neal Lachman. Neal is a disruptor in the space travel game, and he is here tonight to share those ideas.
Neal has more than 32 years of business experience, including 26 years in finance and technology. He is a thoroughly experienced, energetic, and bold investor who is “cut from entrepreneurial cloth.” Neal is also a pragmatic and strategic planner with a long-term business philosophy. Neal is a telecoms pioneer and an outspoken entrepreneur; his opinion (often conveyed through White Papers since 2000) has earned him the respect from one part of the industry, as well as severe dislike from another part. Neal prides himself in having correctly called most of the telecom and technology trends and developments since 2000, often contrarian to commonly understood trends.
This is a great episode, and Neal has a viewpoint that is unlike anything we really have seen on The Malliard Report to date. It’s not often you get someone that has a firm grasp on the reality of space travel. You can follow the Space Industry Disruptor himself on Twitter @nealx1. Our journey through life is difficult. There is no other way around it. We face challenges everyday from outside sources on a near constant basis; things we can control, things we can’t, people that seem to have the soul purpose to just make our lives hell. Then there is our biggest critic that we stare down, wrestle with, and feel like we lose to constantly. Ourselves. Navigating our own hang-ups, spiritual challenges, and never ending critiques, we truly our own worst enemy. This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes a guest who has a purpose to help those that may be lost on their journey, in addition to being a prolific medium, and a background dancer in a 70s musical that we love. This week Jim Welcomes Vincent Genna to the show.
Acclaimed as the “truly authentic” gifted healer, Vincent is known for using his extraordinary gifts, academic credentials, and all-loving approach to embolden others to dive deep within to release their blocks and resistances and feel inspired and empowered! For almost four decades, Vincent has helped thousands of people around the world heal, unlock, and release their passions and purpose, and transform their lives through his inspiring and enlightening radio and television interviews, dynamic and powerful keynote presentations, workshops, training classes, and private sessions. Relatable, greatly compassionate, humorous, and a gifted mystic healer, Vincent offers his clients the opportunity for deep emotional healing, radical spiritual awakening, and the key to make everything they attempt work.
Vincent certainly brings an energy to the show (and everywhere he goes) and makes for a great episode. If you would like to book a personal session, or attend a speaking event of Vincent’s, head over to vincentgenna.com. You can also contact him through social media @vincent_genna_msw. What are the two things that we are told to never discuss at the dinner table? Especially with in-laws. Religion and Politics. With technology and the age of information that we live in, you would think that discussing ideas of those two categories would be lively, engaging, civilized. But we could not be any further from such a position. We fight and bicker over the most non-sensical, out of context bits, and try to claim the higher ground. This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes a guest that dives headfirst into both topics regularly with his own Podcast “Talkin’ Politics and Religion Without Killin’ Each Other.” This week we sit down with Corey Nathan and discuss just that…religion and politics.
Corey was raised in an observant Jewish household attending an Orthodox synagogue. His family is mostly from Brooklyn, New York, but Corey grew up in Jersey. In his late 20s, much to the family's chagrin, Corey became a born-again Christian. Not long after this epiphany, he began to find many of the default social and political positions of contemporary American Evangelicalism to be at odds with the very Scriptures that are supposed to be Christians' authority for how to engage in the world.
If you are looking at diving into politics and religion without killing anyone, make sure to head over to Corey’s podcast home politicsandreligion.us and give his show a listen. We get a dopamine rush when we see the social media notification that someone liked our content. We strain ourselves to our very max at our job to chase up proverbial ladders. We destroy small businesses because we want our product within 2 days or less. We throw fits because a coffee shop doesn’t have our favorite flavor syrup. It is without question that we live in a “me centered” culture. What happens though when we take ourselves out of the equation and put the focus on others. We go that extra mile for someone. Well, this week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes Rabbi Manis Friedman to the show to discuss just such things.
Rabbi Manis Friedman is a Hassid rabbi, author, social philosopher, and public speaker. He is also the dean of the Bais Chana Institute of Jewish Studies. Friedman authored Doesn't Anyone Blush Anymore?, which was published in 1990 and is currently in its fourth printing. In 1971, inspired by the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Friedman as a shaliach ("emissary") cofounded the Bais Chana Women International, an Institute for Jewish Studies in Minnesota for women with little or no formal Jewish education. Friedman has lectured in cities throughout the US, as well as London, Hong Kong, Cape Town, and Johannesburg in South Africa, Melbourne and Sydney in Australia, and several South and Central American cities.
Rabbi Manis is a fantastic speaker and guest. You can find him on YouTube and on his personal site itsgoodtoknow.org. In 1987 Michel Desmarquet stated that he was abducted by very kind and attractive, 8-foot tall, hermaphroditic, humanoid aliens and taken to their advanced planet. He was shown the function of the universe through a metaphysical form, in addition to how to correct our planets future path, and potential warnings if we do not. Quite a story to say the least, but the real question is how does this story, and a Chinese Court Interpreter have a common thread? Well this week’s guest on The Malliard Report, was so moved by the Thiaoouba Prophecy, he set out on his own journey to follow in the path of Michel. This week Jim welcomes Samuel Chong.
Samuel comes from Beijing, China. With a bachelor's degree in Economics from University of California, Berkeley, he also studied Economic History at London School of Economics and Political Science and Financial Analysis at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. A former instructor for the Court Interpreters Program at University of California, Los Angeles Extension Program, he specializes in translating legal and financial documents as well as interpreting as a certified court interpreter for patent and complex litigation cases involving companies located in the US, Japan, Taiwan, and mainland China. Samuel is also responsible for the Chinese publication of Michel’s book, and the catalyst for his own journey.
This is certainly an interesting episode, and Samuel and Michel’s stories are incredible. At this point it is no surprise that the last two and half years has driven change and created new platforms in which people live and work. The work environment looks nothing like what it did just three years ago. To accept such a drastic change is challenging enough, but to become the norm is an entirely different ball of wax. But that is where we are now. Companies can exist with employees working out of their offices and bedrooms. Along with that, the educational systems have had to overcome the exact same trials and obstacles the work forces encountered. For years, colleges have allowed people to earn degrees without even setting foot upon a campus. So why has it taken this long (and an event of this caliber) to make that shift into primary education?
This week on The Malliard Report, Jim features a guest that has taken on this challenge head on, but from a totally different viewpoint. It is one thing for schools to put into place the infrastructure to accommodate virtual learning, but what about the parents? Just like working from home, learning from home is a skill that many people were forced to learn, and learn quickly. Jim’s guest Tillie Elvrum made it her goal to do just that. To work with parents and children to get the most benefit out of their virtual learning experience.
“Tillie Elvrum is an education advocacy pioneer with experience at the state and national level. She founded Elvrum Consulting after two decades of education reform and school choice advocacy. With a background in communications, early childhood education, and personal experience as a parent advocate, Tillie specializes in grassroots organizing, parent engagement, school choice policy, and innovative education models. Tillie previously served as President of the National Coalition for Public School Options Board of Directors where she led a network of advocates in 30 states. She worked to advance policies that would increase educational opportunity for students in statehouses across the country and on Capitol Hill. She currently serves as President of the Colorado Coalition of Cyberschool Families Board of Directors and leads the Parent Support for Online Learning initiative. She previously served as a board member for the Ohio Coalition of E-School Families and as board treasurer for Ohio Connections Academy. Additionally, she serves as an advisor to Spark Mindset, Inc. — a social enterprise company for cybersecurity education and training.”
While a lot of us have adopted a lifestyle around this from home system, Tillie certainly has created methods that make it much easier. If you are struggling with it, or just wanting to try and make it better for yourself, or your child check out Tillie’s website parents4support.com. At this point, does this week’s guest really need an introduction? If you have listened to The Malliard Report for any length of time you will certainly recognize this voice almost instantly. Always on the go with some new project, and always a fan favorite and show friend, this week Jim welcomes Mark Anthony. So without any further ado, let’s just jump into this thing. “Mark Anthony the “Psychic Lawyer and Psychic Explorer (aka Psychic Attorney and Psychic Adventurer),” is a world-renowned fourth generation science based evidential psychic medium who communicates with spirits. He is the author of the critically acclaimed Amazon and spiritual bestsellers Never Letting Go and Evidence of Eternity. Mark’s credentials and experience are unparalleled in the paranormal world. He is an Oxford educated trial attorney licensed to practice before the United States Supreme Court. Everybody has a genesis in their passion journey. For some, it is seeing a musician play an instrument or piece that absolutely captivates them. Others may be enthralled by the grace and moves of a dancer or inspired by an athlete that causes themselves to push their very own limits. Sometimes inspiration comes from the most unusual sources. One could say this week’s guest was inspired by a single piece sheet metal, and that piece of sheet metal has turned into a successful sports marketing team. This week Jim welcomes Tim Leonard to the show.
Tim Leonard is the head of Leonard Motorsports Marketing. Sports marketing is something of an unusual genre of business. Most sports marketing is usually done by mega companies attaching themselves to team/sports uniforms or having an elite player wear a particular item while on the court or pitch. This most often involves absurdly large amounts of money that most of us simple folk would not even begin to fathom. However, motorsports seem to be the one outlet that a “regular” person or smaller company can access. For a relatively (compared to some other sports) small fee, a company can get their logo out on a professional car/bike/etc, for an entire community to see, and this is exactly what Tim does. Tim is the catalyst for those wanting to get themselves out there, and he’s darn good at what he does.
Tim has an amazing story to tell of overcoming some serious personal obstacles, to building a successful marketing firm that he continues today. Want to get your logo/company/name out there? (Heck, if you want to help sponsor a Malliard Report car) reach out to Tim through their Leonard Motorsports Marketing social media platforms. Podcasts are everywhere. They are part of our daily lives. While we are at the gym, on our way to work, chores around the house, or sometimes just comforting background noise, we always have our favorite content ready to go; True crime, DIY, self-help, spooky stories, and conspiracies all neatly packaged in easy to search UI on our favorite platforms. But, not that long ago in the grand scheme of things, this burgeoning new wave of content was difficult to access. Resources and topics were few and far between and figuring out how to get your creation out there and discovered were new and uncharted territories. This week’s guest on The Malliard Report was on the forefront of that expedition. Today, Jim welcomes the Godfather of podcasting, Jeff Townsend.
“Jeff has been creating content for over 15 years, with over 1.5 million views/listens/downloads across various platforms. After taking a break for several years to focus on his career in Marketing, he is now back in the mix of things with this new passion project: Indie Podcaster Jeff, AKA Podcast Father, interviews content creators of all stripes on Indie Podcaster podcast. What is it they're passionate about? What drives them? His goal is to highlight and promote creators and artists. Some may be well known; others are lesser known but just as spirited. Jeff is bringing you the stories of independent creators on Indie Podcaster. Join him on this journey, as the Indie Podcaster.”
This is a fun episode because you get to peek into the past and understand what it was like to blaze a trail of a medium that was still in its infancy. You can follow Jeff’s work over on his website podcastfather.com or catch him on Twitter @podcast_father. While Jim Malliard is the face (the voice?), lead researcher, booker and scout, web developer, marketing strategist, merchandise design, and countless other roles, he does also have a small team that…well, really doesn’t do much more than send nonsensical texts, and call in and harass him during live call shows. This week Jim begrudgingly welcomes one of these individuals to the show to discuss a smattering of random topics. This week Jim features Christopher Olson to the show.
Chris…me…the person writing this right now…has been a part of the show for a number of years now. Forget the fourth wall for a bit. I’m just going to write to you dear reader and listener as if we were sitting across from each other over a cup of coffee. As many of you know, I help Jim with the show notes and some behind the scenes producer stuff. I’ve had the pleasure of calling Jim a friend for quite some time. I love the paranormal, conspiracies, music, food, and coffee. I’ve been a musician for a majority of my life, enjoy conducting ITC sessions at known paranormal locations, shooting pictures of my surroundings and everyday life, and yelling at my tv at choking sports teams.
If you find yourself at all interested in my ventures, feel free to check them out. You can find my music on all platforms (Spotify/Apple/etc.) under the name inheritance. No matter what your take on the events that surround the whole covid situation, the one thing that everyone can agree on is that the landscape has drastically changed. For months we were forced into isolation with nothing more than a digital outreach to everyone around us. To say that it has altered a major component of our psyche would be a gross understatement. This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes back a fan favorite and show regular to discuss the new wave of upcoming “sociopaths.” This week features the one and only Rebecca Housel.
“Rebecca Housel, Ph.D., known as The Pop Culture Professor, is an international best-selling author and editor in nine languages and 100 countries. Rebecca, listed in the Directory of American Poets & Writers for her work in nonfiction, was nominated by Prevention magazine essayist and best-selling author of The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks, Rebecca Skloot, to the National Association of Science Writers for her work on cancer. Rebecca has published with best-selling author of The Accidental Buddhist, Dinty Moore's literary nonfiction journal, Brevity, and with commercial publications like Redbook magazine and online journals like In Media Res. Her recent interviews appear in publications such as the LA Times, Esquire, USA TODAY, The Huffington Post, Inside Higher Ed, Woman's World magazine, and Marie Claire as well as on FOX news, and NBC Dr. Housel currently works on the Editorial Advisory Boards for the Journal of Popular Culture and the Journal of American Culture; she has also worked as a reviewer for Syracuse University Press and Thomson Wadsworth. A writer of all genres, Housel has written and published both fiction and nonfiction in over ten books and 398 articles, essays, book chapters, book reviews, and encyclopedia entries.”
Dr. Housel stresses the importance of mental health and that we all should be aware for ourselves and those around us. We cannot express enough that you should never feel embarrassed or that you can’t reach out for help. There are always resources available and many people willing to provide them. It is a process that we have all encountered. You go to the doctor (which is already a pain in the butt to get into) go through whatever exam you have lined up, the doctor scribbles some illegible gibberish on a piece of paper and sends you to your local pharmacy. You know it will take a little bit of time, and your stomach is doing most of the talking right now, so you decide to grab a bite on the way over to the pharmacy. You grub your burger, pull into your local WalAideRiteGreens, meander to the back and queue up in the line. You finally get to the window, only to find out that your prescription isn’t ready yet. “HOW HARD CAN IT BE!? Just take the pills from the container, and put them in the bottle for me” you scream inside of your head. But, there is much more to it than just that. This week’s guest on The Malliard Report is here to dispel all the misconceptions of life in a pharmacy, discuss specialty medications, the opioid crisis, and much more. This week Jim welcomes pharmacists number 1 Fan & Advocate, and podcaster Todd Eury to the show.
“Pittsburgh native Todd Eury from Brownsville, Pennsylvania, started the first podcast about the profession of Pharmacy in 2009, and today, it’s the global leader in podcasting about the business and profession of the pharmacist. Todd Eury started the Pharmacy Podcast Network in March of 2009. Todd is the CEO of the Pharmacy Publishing Network, the parent publication of the Pharmacy Podcast Network. With the editorial, C.E. education support, and evidence-based podcasting divisions, Eury directs the leading audio publication in the Pharmacy Industry.”
Todd is an excellent guest, and does a great job at peeling the curtain back to what happens behind the scenes in the local pharmaceutical world. Todd’s take on certain issues in today’s time is certainly one worth noting. If you want to check out Todd’s podcast make sure to stop by pharmacypodcast.com where you can also join the “U.S. Pharmy.” For all things Malliard, head over to malliard.com where you can catch past shows, merch, the newsletter, and the weekly live chat every Tuesday at 9 PM EST. After all these years, we’ve gotten to know the voice of the great Jim Malliard quite well. We know his foray into the paranormal. Struggles and achievements in the world of maintaining a podcast for more than a decade (and the strange cast of characters he keeps around to help with it), and even some of his interests and hobbies outside of life behind the mic, but very, very rarely does the curtain blow enough in the ethereal breeze that we get a true peek into the world of the “duck master” himself. This week, the breeze of destiny just so happens to be working in our favor with Jim’s featured guest, and that curtain is blown wide open. This week Jim welcomes his better half, the one and only, Tabby (Mrs. Duck Master) Malliard.
It has been eight long years since we have had the absolute privilege to have Tabby on the show, and this week we finally break that much too long absence. Tabby joins Jim to share some insight into what a day in the life looks like. From overcoming some serious health challenges, taking on a menagerie of pets, to even just the chaotic day-to-day life that comes with having kids, we get to hear about it all. Tabby has a truly fascinating story to tell, especially about when her and Jim first got together. (Imagine going on your first date with someone to only have to tell them in a few days you have to undergo a life-altering surgery) This is fantastic episode and a privilege to be able to have Tabby on.

Call centers are one of the most unique experiences from both a consumer and employee standpoint. As a customer, we often feel the frustrations of long wait times, being helplessly passed around from department to department, having to tell our story six different times only to be met with the “…why are you calling in today…” As an employee, it can be equally frustrating: long and/or strange hours, poor management, high churn, lack of training, and at times what feels like a never-ending stream of angry customers on the other end of the line call after call after call. Neither scenario is exactly a win for either party and this has been the sort of mindset for decades. It sucks, we know it sucks, and that’s just the way that it is. But what if there was a different way? Modern approaches that could simplify the process and increase first call resolutions, make the job easier for the agents, and much more. This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes a guest that is taking this task head on. This week we welcome Thomas Laird to the show to discuss the future of AI use in call centers, managing floors better, NFTs, and much more.
“Tom Laird is the founder and CEO of award winning Expivia Interaction Marketing Group. Expivia is USA BPO omni-channel contact center located in the USA. Tom has 25 years of experience in all facets of contact center operations. Tom has the honor of being a member of the Nice inContact iCVC Board. The iCVC is a select group of Nice inContact customers selected to join as trusted advisors to help inContact validate ideas for new products and plans for future innovations. Prior to starting Expivia, Tom was the head of call center operations or a large BPO that specialized in financial services. Having this past know-how has given him the responsibility of running many service and sales programs for most of the largest 15 financial institutions the USA.”
Tom does a great job at peeling back the curtain and showing a sneak peek of what is on the other side of the phone call that we all too often dread. He also shares how the future could actually be brighter for the industry. You can find Tom’s book Advice From A Call Center Geek on major online retailers. Dealing with the passing of a loved one is one of those unfortunate occurrences that we all must face. Even more intimidating is the notion of having all our affairs in order when our time comes. Macabre? Yes, but statistically speaking you are one hundred percent likely to die. Now when that time comes, in addition to the grief that we have to go through, there is often the headache of dealing with estates, wills, financial holding transfers, the list goes on. Unless you are an expert and many different fields, navigating those tumultuous waters can be an incredibly daunting task. This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes a guest that deals specifically with this field and has made it his goal to try and make the process as easy as possible. This week Jim welcomes Robert (Bob) Kabacy to the show to discuss the many intricacies of being an estate lawyer, the beautiful Oregon coast, and about his time on stage with David Copperfield.
“Robert Kabacy has been a lawyer in the estate planning and wealth transfer industries for more than twenty-five years. He grew up in the small town of Canby, Oregon, where he was a competitive swimmer. He attended law school to pursue his passion of helping others navigate a complicated legal and tax world and has an uncanny ability to explain complicated concepts in an easy to understand format. About Me is a result of the passing of his mother and experiencing firsthand the difficulty of losing a loved one while navigating the mechanics that go with it. He enjoys reading, stage/parlor magic, and outdoor activities. He still swims almost daily (though no longer competitively).”
While one may not think of estate planning as the most exciting subject to talk about (thinking about our mortality is always a bit of a downer at times) Robert is a fantastic guest, and really explains how a very complicated event can be easily managed with the least amount of proverbial headache. If you are looking for one of the best estate planners in the game, you can reach out to Robert through his practice’s website kelrun.com. You can find his book on most online retailers. In the summer of 2005, news headlines were dominated with the death of Pope John Paull II, Tony Blair winning a third term and the very strange case of Natalee Holloway. (So strange in fact, that a Malliard Report known Irish podcast featured an episode on it) Natalee went missing in Aruba after a high-school graduation trip, under very peculiar circumstances and her case was eventually closed in 2012 with no “official” explanation. The case has garnered the attention of many different true crime outlets, investigators, and today’s guest. This week Jim welcomes to the show psychic profiler and medium Carla Baron to the show.
“Carla became known throughout the globe for her real-life portrayal of a psychic crime fighter, starring in the hit TruTV (formally Court TV) series, “Haunting Evidence,” now in worldwide syndication. Ms. Baron appeared on several episodes of Biography’s “Dead Famous.” Her work as a psychic profiler was highlighted on ABC’s “Primetime,” and 20/20 for WE. MTV’s FEAR was Carla’s premiere foray into the paranormal, traveling all over the world on location, filming their documentary segments as official psychic for the haunting reality series. Today, Carla continues to work on cases that strike some sort of personal chord for her. Ms. Baron offers her assistance (pro bono) when accepting missing persons/ murder/ crime cases on an official basis.”
Carla is an exciting guest and certainly will be welcomed back so as to share the many experiences and insight that she has. To follow Carla or to reach out to her for your own session, head over to her website carlabaron.net. Remember that listening to The Malliard report is only a small portion of what is available. There are a handful of voices that have become staples and fan favorites in the Malliard repertoire. This week one of those voices returns, and it is none other than the Safety Doc himself David Perridon. A lot has happened since the last time David has been on, and he’s produced another amazing book. This episode is certainly a heavy one, with a lot of information to take in. So sit down, strap in, and get ready.
“David P. Perrodin, PhD, worked twelve years as a Director of Student Services before exiting the profession to focus exclusively on researching school safety and high-stakes decision-making in conjunction with his doctoral dissertation at the University of Wisconsin – Madison. As an expert in safety preparedness and response, Dr. Perrodin has presented on public television, in school districts and at school safety conferences. He has access to the top safety specialists in the industry and works collaboratively with this talented network to bring unparalleled services to clients. In 2016, he partnered with Pulitzer Prize winning author and producer David Obst to write and direct a script involving an intruder in an elementary school setting. Since 2003, David has been a core faculty member with Viterbo University’s Educational Leadership Department and instructs aspiring administrators on the nuances of pupil nondiscrimination and school safety.”
Finite faultage, information overload, and general human chaos, David unpacks a lot in this episode, and as usual is always amazing. To get more of David’s incredible work, make sure to head over to his website safetyphd.com where you can find his podcast, order his books, and contact him directly. If you have been a listener to The Malliard Report for any length of time, you will certainly have heard of The Phillip K Dick Film Festival and now The New York Sci-Fi Film Fest. Well, it is that time of year again and on this episode of The Malliard Report Jim welcomes back long time, returning guest Daniel Abella to discuss this year’s festival, trends in film, and so much more.
“The New York Science fiction film festival is an alternative venue for independent Science fiction filmmakers to showcase their work. This is our first year for this event. The Philip K Dick festival, our sister festival, was founded by Dan Abella in 2012 as an outlet for independent Science fiction filmmakers to showcase their work. Daniel Abella is a science fiction film maker and producer. Some of his work includes the webisodes, THE SINGULARITY, THE MONTAUK PROJECT, THE MULDER CHRONICLES and the feature film, THE FINAL EQUATION. He is also the director and founder of the Philip K Dick festival Europe.”
As Daniel mentions in this episode, the quality of film seems to get better and better each year, and now with everything going on, there certainly is no shortage of “plausible” stories to be told. However, lately it does seem as though truth is stranger than fiction.
If you are interested in submitting a film for the festival, check out the website (newyorksci-fifilmfesival.com) for all the requirements, and if you are in the New York area, you try and catch a film or two.

Every individual has something inside that drives them. A spark deep within that builds to a flame of personal achievement or passion. What it looks like, or the fuel behind it varies for each person, but the base behind it is all the same. This week on The Malliard Report Jim welcomes a guest that has a raging inferno inside and has overcome obstacles that very few will ever know. On this episode Jim welcomes Courtenay Turner to discuss her achievements, her philosophies, and what drives her.
“…Courtenay Turner was born with congenital rubella. Her mother had the German measles during first trimester of pregnancy. Some of the ramifications including but not limited to unilateral blindness, severe bilateral hearing impairment, hypotonia affecting the limbs, heart complications, asymmetrical bone development, stunted growth, for fine and graphic motor coordination and several other afflictions. Doctors told her parents the best they could hope was to find an institution to put her in for life. From the baby nurse who put her in a wet sandbox, to her grandfather building a balance beam and exercises that her mother developed, or childhood gymnastics and other individualized sports, Courtenay is a prime example of how movement is integral to development and healing! She attributes her ability to overcome lack of motion parallax depth perception, for vestibular sense, hypotonic muscles, and poor coordination to the movement practices she has emerged from infancy through adulthood. Shields to inspire others to find ways to inhabit their physical home and moving in ways that heal their mind, body, and spirit.”
Courtenay is truly an inspirational guest, and her story is certainly one worth hearing. As we binge through our favorite shows, watch that go-to comfort movie for the 150th time, and curiosity scroll through the protagonists’ real life social media pages, we often find ourselves wondering what the actor life is like. Daydreaming about how we would be in front of the camera for the whole world to see. Working alongside people that we have been enthralled and entertained by. Forgetting that most of the individuals we love and love to hate through our endless streams have had to fight and claw to the position they are in. This week on The Malliard Report, we get a rare chance to pull back that curtain and see just how life as an actor really…plays out… with special guest Sean Dillingham.
Sean Dillingham “…has appeared in over 135+ commercials and 70+ films and 25 national television series. He's had network television appearances on Operation REPO, Discovery ID, Buried in the Backyard, The NightShift, Longmire, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, This is Us, There's Johnny, Yellowstone & Better call Saul! He has acted alongside Kevin Costner, Tony Danza, Jane Seymour, Patrick Duffy, Roger Bart, Don Ameche, Stacy Keache, John O'Hurley, Andre Braugher, Andy Samberg, Milo Ventimiglia, Bob Odenkirk, Aidan Quinn, BJ Novak, Ashton Kutcher and more. Sean has trained with the top Improv Theatres in the country including The Second City, The Groundlings, Upright Citizens Brigade and I.O. West. He also studied acting with both the prestigious Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute and the Stella Adler Studio of Acting.”
This is a fantastic episode because we are able to glimpse into a realm so few actually get to see. Sean also shares about how moving different places regularly as a kid can be difficult, the status of (or decline of) the entertainment industry today, and so much more. You can head over to Sean’s website seandillingham.com or find at least one of his shows on your favorite streaming service. Until now, the prominent writer on the King assassination has been William Pepper, who was also the attorney for James Earl Ray. It is the point of view of the author that Pepper's determination to acquit Ray caused him to ignore or dismiss the importance of McFerren's testimony. The premise is that Pepper needed to keep Ray as far from involvement as possible to acquit him, but that James Earl Ray was deeply involved with the men who orchestrated the assassination of April 4, 1968. For that reason, Pepper needed to ignore much of the testimony provided by McFerren, tape recordings of which was sent to multiple people including the United State Justice Department in real time, meaning soon after the event. More testimony was provided around the time of the HSCA , including McFerren's affidavit dated June, 1978. This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes author John Roberts to the show to discuss the deeper conspiracy into Dr. Martin Luther King’s assassination through the book Cotton Coated Conspiracy.
Cotton Coated Conspiracy (Book one) is a deep dive into the history of Fayette County, Tennessee based on the testimony of John McFerren. The subtitle is “An investigative series of the death of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.”. For those familiar with the MLK assassination, John McFerren was the person who testified that he overheard several men at LL&L Produce Company on April 4, 1968. One said, “They ought to shoot that son-of-bi**h”. Upon entering the building, McFerren heard a heavyset man scream into the telephone “Kill the son-of-a-bitch on the balcony and get the job done. You will get your $5000.” After shopping for produce, McFerren returned to the front of the store, this man then said “Don't come out here. Go to New Orleans and get your money. You know my brother.” These conversations occurred between 4:45 and 5:15 PM on the day of the assassination and are part of the official record.
John’s case is certainly an interesting one, and with the settlement with the King’s family outside the court of law in regards to MLK’s death, it certainly lends some credibility. You can find the book on most major online retailers or through the website cottoncoated.com. “It’s no longer the 20th century…things change on a feckin’ weekly basis…” and we as parents, leaders, and caretakers of children need to recognize this. Some of the most dangerous people that have direct contact with our children, are other children. Children can be the building blocks in a foundation built on strong sense of self-worth and positivity, and they can also be the catalyst to destroying the all ready fragile identity. This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes Vic Ferrari to the show to discuss his tenure with the NYPD, being an author, and what it is like being a child in today’s ever changing state.
“Author Vic Ferrari is a retired New York City Police Department detective with the hamstrings of a twenty-year-old. A survivor of an Irish father and Italian mother, Vic loves a cold beer and insists on you removing your shoes when entering his home. When he's not writing, he's picking up after his neurotic Irish Wolfhound. Always looking to save a buck, Vic splits his time between Branson, Missouri, and Papua New Guinea.”

The paranormal genre and community has evolved and seen a number of dramatic shifts over the last decade and what was the standard has completely changed. What was an almost formulaic set up for “paranormal success” is now no longer relevant and the envelope has been pushed into a whole new realm. Investigators and content creators are changing the very landscape of the paranormal, and today’s guest on The Malliard Report has had her finger on this pulse from the very beginning. This week Jim features Alex Matsuo on the show to discuss where the field has come, where it is at, and where she believes it is heading. She also discusses some of her favorite equipment pieces, methods to investigating and more.
“Alex Matsuo is a paranormal researcher, singer, and author. She is the founder of the Association of Paranormal Study and runs the blog and YouTube channel, ‘The Spooky Stuff.’ If it’s weird, spooky, unusual, scary, macabre, or haunted, she wants to write and talk about it! She has also been seen on Travel Channel’s Most Terrifying Places in America. In addition, she is the host of the podcasts, The Spooky Stuff, and Informal Paranormal. Anonymity in a time where any and every move is monitored, tracked, and logged is certainly something to grab a hold of and hang of for all that it is worth. Now, even more than ever when we are seeing governments overreaching their proverbial hand in more ways than one, any way to “hide” is critical. One such way is the rapidly growing world of crypto currencies. More or less having a genesis in approximately 2009, crypto has become an almost fully normalized method of buying and selling, and the governments are not happy. Crypto is unregulated, hard to trace…and well…can be absolutely confusing. Block chain, mining, digital wallets, and so on. Well, this week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes Chris Brady to the show to help clear up some of that confusion.
“Chris Brady is a New York Times best-selling author, speaker, humorist, and businessman. His books include Launching a Leadership Revolution (co-authored with Orrin Woodward), PAiLS, Rascal, A Month of Italy, and several other titles on leadership and success. Chris is the CEO and Creative Director of The Life Platform. He is also the executive publisher of Obstacles Press, and one of the Founders of All Grace Outreach, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Chris is also serving on the board of Wisdom International, a radio ministry committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world. Chris is listed on the Inc. Magazine Top 50 Leadership and Management Experts and is one of the Top 100 Authors to Follow on Twitter. In 2017, Brady was listed Richtopia's Top 200 list of most influential authors in the world. Chris also serves on the board of Wisdom International, a radio ministry committed to spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world. Chris and his wife Terri have four adult children and one grandchild and live in North Carolina.”
While we all wish we could have nabbed a Bitcoin or two back in the day, we can only long for “way back when” for so long. Instead, head over to Chris’ website where you are able to watch some of his seminars, order his books, or just reach out to him personally. Wanting to jump deeper into the duck pond? There are simple and basic principles that are just assumed as common knowledge. The sky is blue(ish), the sun rises in the east, and energy permeates through buildings and can attach and detach to individuals. As we know, certain individuals have the ability to tap into these energies and share insights to where and why they may be. This week on The Malliard Report, Jim welcomes just such a guest. This week Jim welcomes Maya Marcotte to the show to discuss fake healers, energy attachments and how to get rid of them, and where some of the most “risky places” for potential attachments are. Hint, Jim has talked about it in the past.
“Maya is a multi-faceted artist, singer, writer and YouTuber working in New York. Her first art teacher was her father whom she turned to throughout her life for honest critiques of her work. She grew up with a passion for Disney animation and much of her early influence came from the feature-length movies of fairy tales and imagination. As she got into her teens, the works of Olivia De Berardinis and Hajime Sorayama inspired her to embrace the sensuality and sexuality of women strictly prohibited in her family. For over a decade, she worked as a makeup artist in the beauty industry and learned how to mix color on countless faces which she later realized was a crucial learning experience for mixing colors for portraiture. On 11/11/11 she was accepted into her first group exhibition in Brooklyn. Group exhibits over the years included UCONN, Stepping Stones Children's Museum, CW Post, Nassau Comptroller's Building and East End Arts Gallery. She now focuses on whatever most energizes her; whether its the beauty of female sensuality through realistic charcoal drawings or her perspective of a stunning landscape in pastels, the art of the utmost importance is that which energizes and stimulates the senses and the soul.”
Maya is truly a multifaceted, multi-talented individual that brings a no nonsense approach to a field where a lot of nonsense occurs and is a fantastic guest. You can follow Maya either through her website mmarcotte.artspan.com or through her social media platforms @SolfeggioGirl. Project Star Gate. A U.S. Army research unit that was established in 1978 out of Fort Meade, Maryland by the Defense Intelligence Agency and SRI International to investigate and establish psychic phenomena for militaristic purposes. Project Star Gate had a heavy focus on remote viewing with the intent to tap into Russian sites and establishments. The program was allegedly terminated in the early 90s and declassified in 1995. This move brought the concept of remote viewing and its legitimacy of it to the public forefront. (Why would the U.S. Military run a classified program for two decades if there wasn’t truth to it?) This segues into our guest this week on The Malliard Report. This week Jim welcomes the renowned remote viewer and naturopathic healer, Dr. Kimberly McGeorge, to the show.
“Dr. Kimberly McGeorge is an internationally renowned naturopathic doctor, energy healer, remote viewer, paranormal expert, and consciousness teacher. Her extensive client list includes of some of the world’s most talented healers. Dr. Kimberly was born with the ability to remote view, see people's auras and was highly intuitive. While still in college, she helped police on many occasions. Finding she had a natural affinity with herbs, she worked as an herbalist and went on to create and distribute her own line of herbal organic products internationally. During this time, her personal practice expanded to multiple clinics throughout Columbus. Driven by her inner knowing that her healing work could be made much quicker, more affordable and amplified exponentially using technology, Dr. Kimberly consulted with an esteemed neurosurgeon and realized that the healing frequencies in naturopathy could be applied to all areas of her client’s lives.”
This is a fantastic show, and Dr. Kimberly is clearly one to not proverbially stand still for very long. She has been featured on many top programs on CNN, PBS, Coast to Coast (a Malliard favorite…), and many others. To keep up with all of Dr. Kimberly’s projects and goings-on, head over to her website www.secrettoeverything.com. “Time. Space. Gender. There are no rules anymore. All boundaries are breaking down in the wake of the infinite future. The only thing that — the only thing that remain — the only thing that remains are the things that have stood the test of time — love, values, and of course, the pyramids — the strongest shape ever constructed, a shape that fits all other shapes inside of it.” While this may be just a great scene from NBC’s The Office, there actually is a bit of truth within that statement. The power of the pyramids is a topic that seems to be gaining a lot of traction from many different communities. Ancient historians, lost history YouTubers, and today’s guest on The Malliard Report. On this episode, Jim welcomes Christopher Macklin to the show to discuss healing, his plans on creating a divine, global healing center and so much more.
“Christopher Macklin was born in Chester in the UK and has been very gifted from an early age. For the last several years he has concentrated on Divine Healing learned from Divine knowledge from God & All That Is Holy. His healing technique is a unique approach combining God’s Angelic Light Beings & clearing of Negative Energies & Entities. Christopher has worked with Divine Healing for 30 years. He is a Melchizedek Being who has volunteered to come down to Earth to teach & heal using Sananda Energy from the Ultimate Dimension.”
Christopher’s passion for helping others is truly something to admire, and he is working tirelessly to help as many as he can. Welcome to the Malliard Report! Today we are so excited to have Denise Pridemore with us. Denise is an expert on paranormal investigations and the history of haunted places. She has investigated many locations, but is best known for her extensive research into the Sallie House and McPike Mansion. Denise, tell us a bit about what led you to become so interested in these two places. Thanks, Jim. It all started when I was a student at the University of Kansas and I heard about the Sallie House. I was fascinated by the reports of paranormal activity and decided to explore the history of the house. As I looked deeper into the house's history, I realized that the Sallie House was just one of a number of properties in the area with a similar reputation. That's when I started to research the other properties, including the McPike Mansion. Now, let's talk about the Sallie House. Can you tell us a bit about the house's history and the paranormal activity that has been reported there? Sure! The Sallie House was built in Atchison, Kansas in 1895. It was originally owned by a doctor and his wife, who had a daughter named Sallie. Sadly, Sallie died in the house at the age of 5, and since then, the house has been haunted by her spirit. People have reported hearing her voice and seeing her ghost around the house. And what about the McPike Mansion? Can you tell us a bit about that? Absolutely! The McPike Mansion is located in Alton, Illinois and was built in 1869 by a wealthy industrialist named John McPike. It was once a luxurious home but has since fallen into disrepair. It's also rumored to be haunted by the ghosts of John McPike and his family. People have reported hearing strange noises, seeing apparitions, and feeling cold spots in the house. Denise, thank you so much for joining us today and sharing your knowledge about these two haunted locations. We really appreciate it! My pleasure! It was great to be here.

Welcome to The Malliard Report! This week, we are joined by Bryan Passifiume, a reporter with the Toronto Sun. Bryan is an award-winning journalist and author who has been covering news, politics, and the criminal justice system in the city of Toronto since 2009. He is the author of two books, The Unrepentant: The Strange and (Sometimes) Terrible Life of Lorne Campbell, Satan's Choice and Hells Angel and The Unrepentant: The Strange and (Sometimes) Terrible Life of Wayne Kellestine and the Bandidos Motorcycle Club. In this episode, we are going to be talking to Bryan about his work in journalism and what it takes to be a successful reporter. We will also be discussing the current social and political climate in Toronto and how it affects his work. Finally, we will be discussing his two books and how his experience as a reporter has informed his writing. So, Bryan, thanks for joining us on the show today. Could you tell us a bit about yourself and your background in journalism? Sure. I've been a reporter since 2009 and before that, I was a web designer and media consultant. My first job in journalism was at the Toronto Sun, and I've been there ever since. I'm a beat reporter, which means I cover a lot of different stories and topics. I specialize in hard news, crime, social justice issues, and politics. I also write a weekly column in the Sun and I've been published in other major papers in Canada as well. That's great. What has been your most memorable story that you've covered as a reporter in Toronto? I would have to say the story I wrote about the Toronto Van Attack in 2018. It was a difficult story to cover because of the tragedy of the event and the personal ties I had to the victims, but it was also a very important story to tell and to get right. It was an incredibly emotional experience, but I'm glad I was able to tell the story in a way that was both respectful and accurate.

Digital wearables, human micro-shipping, and training yourself to be able to achieve the very best that you can (even your golf swing); expert of the personal betterment Morry Zelcovitch joins Jim once again on this episode of The Malliard Report to discuss the aforementioned as well as other potentially controversial technology trends found today.
Morry Zelcovitch thought he had hit rock bottom. Severe depression encompassed his entire existence. Seeking to pacify the pain through any number of addictive vices (drugs, booze, sex, and many others), Morry eventually reached the point to where none of those even sufficed in dulling the pain. After multiple, unsuccessful suicide attempts Morry decided that this was his turning point, and something needed to change.
Mory soon noticed that certain sounds and tones would affect his mental state in a more positive manner: a new path was being laid before him that would change himself and many others. Not satisfied with the results he was seeing from the small amounts of material that was available at the time, Mory began his own pursuit. Seeking information from one of the top sources within the Brainwave Engineering field, Mory quickly reached a level of expert status and ventured out into fine tuning the best of materials for positive reinforcement. The Mory Method continues to astound listeners around the world and has received critical acclaim through a major university study at top Brazilian university.
If you own a pet, you more than likely have it micro-chipped. In the event that your precious little furry snuggle buddy happens to get out, this chip will help in the speedy recovery of your friend. We as pet owners think nothing of it. If we lose them, we want to be able to find them quickly. So what about using this same idea on humans? Why is there all of a sudden such a contrasting difference? You stick a trackable device in Fido with zero hesitation, but if mentioned within a human usage it suddenly becomes evil. This certainly could become something that is beneficial for Alzheimer patients or those suffering from dementia. However, it does allow for access to incredible amounts of evil. If all information (banking, vitals, etc.) is stored on these implantable chips, what is keeping someone from shutting them off, essentially leaving the individual a virtual ghost? No identity, money, and so on. Could this be a fulfillment of biblical prophecy? Revelation 13:16 (ESV) does state “Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark…”
Jim and Morry also discuss the benefits of wearable tech such as smartwatches, and ways to improve on your short game. Morry is a fantastic guest and his story is certainly one worth taking notice of. You can follow Morry and access his cache of information through his website themorrymethod.com and of course for all things Malliard head over to malliard.com. He recently joined Jim Malliard on his podcast The Malliard Report to discuss how to defuse confrontations and handle difficult conversations. Doug began by sharing what inspired him to write his book. He noted that at some point in our lives, we’ve all found ourselves in a situation where we’ve had to confront an angry person. Step one involves “active listening”, which requires being present and listening without judgment. Doug believes that this approach can help people to de-escalate a situation and reach a resolution faster. Doug also discussed the importance of understanding and respecting the other person’s perspective, even if you don’t agree with it. He believes that by taking the time to understand someone else’s point of view, you can build trust and create a productive dialogue. Having a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder, or ASD, is certainly a difficult yet rewarding task. It comes with a set of challenges that most are not prepared for, and most often not informed enough on. Feeling as if you are constantly failing as a parent while watching your child struggle with what should be a “normal thing” is hard. But know that you are not alone. In fact, it has been shown that 1 in 54 children will be born on the Autism Spectrum. There are so many others in your situation, and this is what spurred this week’s guest on The Malliard Report.
“Derek Volk is the author of the internationally acclaimed Amazon bestseller, Chasing the Rabbit: A Dad’s Life Raising a Son on the Spectrum. Derek is a Maine businessman, a supporter of Autism awareness, volunteer and philanthropist who, along with his family, was recently named the 2015 Spurwink “Humanitarian of the Year.” He is currently the president and co-owner of Volk Packaging Corporation, a third-generation, family-owned, corrugated box manufacturer in Biddeford, Maine. Derek actively participates in the Maine Business Leadership Network (BLN), a national organization that focuses on connecting employers with potential employees who have disabilities. His own company currently employs those who are deaf, blind and on the autism spectrum.” Derek also felt the calling to write a book documenting the story of raising his son Dylan. “In Chasing the Rabbit: A Dad’s Life Raising a Son on the Spectrum, Derek Volk shares his experiences raising a son on the Autism spectrum. Both Dylan and Derek write about the challenges, triumphs and coping strategies from the early days to the adolescent years to life in the “real world” as a young adult. This book showcases the unique relationship between a father and his son who has spent his entire life chasing the rabbit.”
This is a great episode and features more than just a father’s struggle, it also features cardboard boxes. Yes, cardboard boxes, and it actually is quite humorous and interesting. Like clockwork every year, the season shifts from the dog days to the cooler evenings. The boys of summer finally get called inside and the girls of pumpkin spice run wild. (Okay, fine, I’ll admit that I do actually enjoy pumpkin flavored things.) Along with that, just as a particular television channel will begin running the movie Hocus Pocus on endless repeat, the sudden uptick in interest of the paranormal will take its yearly hold. Halloween brings out the best of spooks and scares, and people are looking to find the best kind. This often leads into the world of the paranormal. While researching the strange and unusual should never be discouraged, it is something that certainly is not to be done by just anyone on a whim.
While looking for a good scare to help jump the Halloween spirit, it something that can have serious consequences that most do not take into consideration. Often these “playful” attempts are never focused, or done in areas where potential lower vibration entities may exist. This game is seen as an open invitation by the potential spirit and could possibly result in an unwanted attachment. Paranormal research isn’t necessarily a “professionals” only type field, but needs to be approached with a heavy amount of respect and caution.
This week’s guest on The Malliard Report is such an expert in this field. Marlene Pardo has been hunting the paranormal long before the ghost wave we know today was even a vague concept. “Marlene is a native Miamian and the founder of Miami Ghost Chronicles, and she has been a paranormal investigator since the 1990s. She has worked mainly with research groups in Florida, but she has also assisted other organizations and private clients across the country. She is the producer and host of the paranormal talk show, Stories of the Supernatural in which she interviews, authors, experts and any person who has witnessed the unexplained. She also is the narrator of the podcast show Nightshade Diary, Supernatural StoryTime and the blog author of Stranger Than Fiction. She appeared in S1E1 of Paranormal Survivor which presently airs on Destination America and Netflix, and Season 1 of Haunted Hospitals which airs on the Trvl channel. Marlene is a freelance writer who holds a Master of Science degree in Human Behavior & Health. She is a certified master hypnotist and considers herself a subconscious behaviorist and had a private practice for many years. At one time she worked as an investigator for a state-level agency (that shall remain unnamed).”
Marlene Pardo is one of those guests that makes the time disappear and provides some incredible insight and warnings to those that may interested into their first foray into the paranormal You can purchase her books through most online retailers and find her on social platforms.
