27B - Sport Science Shorts: Augmented Reality in Sports Broadcasting

Is adding virtual objects (e.g., the offside line in soccer or the first down line in football) to augment sports broadcasts always a good way to enhance a fan’s experience or can it be taken too far?  My ESPN K Zone rant!
