Nicky Howard is a mastering engineer based in 'sometimes sunny' Yorkshire, UK.

He's worked alongside many Grammy-Winning & Nominated artists, producers, and mix engineers, including Rhymefest, Kipper Eldridge (producer for Sting, Gary Numan, and Mary J Blige), and Mikalai Skrobat (Mixing Engineer/Producer for Kanye West, and Pharell Williams). Ryan Schwabe is a platinum-certified mixing and mastering engineer, a former professor of recording arts & music production at Drexel University's Music Industry Program, and a former Vice President of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Recording Academy, as well as Co-Chair of the Producer and Engineer's Wing.

Inspired by early punk and new wave, Adam Greenspan's journey through the vast soundscapes of the late 80s, to industrial and alt 90s, marked a lifelong immersion in music. With over 25 years in the industry, his career ignited with the engineering of Faith No More's "Album of the Year." Later, a serendipitous connection with fellow producer Nick Launay led to fruitful collaborations, shaping albums for luminaries such as Arcade Fire, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Supergrass, The Cribs, and Refused.

Greenspan's recent productions have garnered critical acclaim, notably securing a 2019 Mercury Prize shortlist for IDLES' "Joy as an Act of Resistance" and a 2020 Grammy nomination for Best Engineered Album with Thomas Dybdal's "All These Things." His return to IDLES resulted in a UK #1 album with "Ultra Mono," highlighting his enduring impact on contemporary music.

Continuing to shape sonic landscapes, Greenspan's recent projects include works with Bloc Party and Flogging Molly. His approach is characterized by close collaboration with artists, aiming to distill a sound and style uniquely theirs while encouraging them to explore new territories. Emphasizing the visceral impact of music and its ability to evoke emotion and movement, Greenspan rejects formulas in favor of capturing genuine artistic expression.

Tony Hoffer is most known for his colorful, gritty productions and mixes that pop out of the speakers. His work over the years spans across alternative, electronic, rock, pop and indie.

Hoffer spent his early years in Miami making music on 2 cassette decks and a reel-to-reel machine. As a teenager, he moved to Los Angeles and went ‘hi-tech’ upgrading to a Tascam 4-track cassette deck falling in love with music and the art of production.

Tony started off playing guitar in ‘post-punk’ bands and fell in love with sampling his favorite post-punk records (Cure, Chameleons, Bauhaus) into his own songs and productions. His big break was co-producing Beck’s double Grammy nominated album ‘Midnite Vultures’ which was a hybrid of intricate sampling and live playing. That initially led to him to working with Air, Phoenix and Supergrass. Some additional credits include: M83, The Kooks, Belle & Sebastian, Silversun Pickups, The Fratellis, Depeche Mode, Fitz & The Tantrums, Blondie, Metric, Chromeo, Dirty Heads, The Snuts, Rainbow Kitten Surprise and Ziggy Marley.

Tony’s productions and mixes have been nominated and/or won 7 Grammy’s (US), 4 Juno’s (Canada), 2 Aria’s (Australia) and the Mercury Prize (UK).

As an active recording and touring musician for over thirty years, Brad cut his teeth as the guitarist and vocalist in From Ashes Rise, making music in a scene fraught with challenges to sound quality. He was raised in the North Mississippi Hill Country, surrounded by a rich and historic music scene, and, after studying Recording Industry Technology at Middle Tennessee State University in the late 1990s, Brad armed himself with a healthy obsession with records, sound, and music. David Bendeth, born in London, England, has had a multifaceted career in the music industry as a guitarist, songwriter, producer, and A&R executive. Initially self-taught on the guitar, he later studied at the Berklee School of Music in Boston. Bendeth's early years involved traveling between London and Toronto, and he performed with renowned drummers like Billy Cobham and Lenny White. In 1980, he reached the top of the UK charts as a blue-eyed soul crooner with the single "Feel the Real" and released three albums before joining CBS/Sony Canada as a staff producer.

Bendeth's career continued to flourish as he became a songwriter with Chrysalis Music, penning tracks for artists like Joe Cocker and Jeff Beck. His A&R roles at BMG Canada and RCA Records in the late '80s and early '90s resulted in signing acts such as Cowboy Junkies and Crash Test Dummies. In 2002, he oversaw the production of Elvis Presley's "30 #1 Hits," which became a massive success, selling nearly 14 million records worldwide.

In 2003, Bendeth transitioned to an independent role as a producer, mixer, and writer. His extensive discography includes working with artists like SR-71, Bruce Hornsby, Vertical Horizon, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Breaking Benjamin, and Paramore, with several records achieving platinum status. Over the years, he has maintained a diverse musical palette, drawing inspiration from artists like Miles Davis, Earth Wind & Fire, and Jeff Beck. Bendeth's impact on the industry is evident through his involvement in over 60 million records sold and his continuous contributions to the evolving music landscape.

With extensive expertise in electronic, acoustic, and live music, Matt stands out as a seasoned professional sound engineer and producer. His journey began as a studio assistant at EMI Music Publishing studios in the mid-90s, where he had the opportunity to work with renowned artists like Jamiroquai, Primal Scream, Elastica, Guru's Jazzmatazz, and the Bluetones.

Transitioning to freelance work, Matt honed his skills in top London recording studios and became an engineer. He contributed to mixes for artists such as Tin Tin Out, The Corrs, Grant Nelson, Jungle Brothers, and even remixed an early UK Garage hit for Whitney Houston.

In the year 2000, Matt took on a pivotal role as the chief engineer at the prestigious UK record label MWA. In this capacity, he was entrusted with the management of two state-of-the-art studios, where his expertise and meticulous approach played a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of audio production. As the chief engineer, Matt not only oversaw the day-to-day operations of these remarkable studios but also held the vital responsibility of quality control for the label's output, with numerous major label collaborations and joint projects.

As the UK urban scene flourished in the new millennium, Matt collaborated with notable artists like Ms Dynamite, So Solid Crew, Lemar, Estelle, KRS One, Big Brovaz, Terri Walker, and worked on projects with Cold Cut, The Gorillaz, Lifford David, and Roebeck. His talent also extended to recording and mixing the BBC 1 Idents, broadcast over 100,000 times.

In recent years, Matt has continued to work with top UK and international artists, building a reputation for his exceptional sonic skills. He has maintained his excellence through collaborations with Miloco Studios, writing gear reviews for Tape Op magazine, and teaching an 'Advanced Mixing Course' at the London School of Sound.

Joe McGrath is well known within the music industry and is an accomplished producer, and recording/mix engineer who leads the team at Hellfire Recording Studio Dublin. His ability to put people at ease, combined with brilliant technical skill has led him to work with a diverse list of acclaimed artists including Republic of Loose, Mary Coughlan, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, The Coronas, Johnny Mc Evoy, Loah, Stano, Fields, David Keenan, Wyvern Lingo, Niwel Tsumbu, and Yankari to mention but a few.

Detroit based multi-Grammy nominated and two time Grammy winning mixer, producer, musician, and engineer Collin Dupuis has developed a sought after sound over the last fifteen years working with critically acclaimed artists and projects including Yves Tumor, Angel Olsen, Lana Del Rey, St. Vincent, Dr. John, The Black Keys, Ray LaMontange, Richard Swift, and many others.

Beginning his career playing in bands, running a DIY recording studio in Michigan, and doing tech work around the Detroit area, he quickly found himself working at FBT (The Bass Brothers) studio as an assistant engineer. Working there, he cut his teeth working with artists and producers of the likes of Mr. Porter, Eminem, Pharoahe Monch, and many more. Working at FBT studios along with working in the tech shop at Vintage King Audio helped to develop a deep understanding of studio work both technically and sonically.

This knowledge helped him make connections and bridge the gap into the rock and electronic worlds of the Detroit music scene. He soon got a call to set up a studio at Jack White's house and help out on the White Stripes’ “Get Behind Me Satan.” Shortly after that, Collin was hired at Carl Craig’s Planet-E records. He engineered for the next five years alongside Carl on remixes, production, live sound in Europe, mastering, and mixing.

Collin next got the call from Dan Auerbach to help him get his Akron studio up and running. This led to a move to Nashville and many critically acclaimed albums working as the lead engineer at Auerbach’s Easy Eye Sound. During his time at Easy Eye Sound he earned a Grammy win for engineering and mixing Dr. John’s “Locked Down”. Along with a Grammy win for engineering Cage The Elephant's “Tell Me I Pretty”.

Currently, Collin is busy working and living in Detroit, MI. as a freelance musician, mixer and engineer, producing, recording, and mixing albums for artists including Yves Tumor, Angel Olsen, Lawrence Rothman, Special Interest, Boy and Bear, and many others. Along with playing in and co-creating with his band Zoos of Berlin.

Sylvia Massy is an American record producer, mixer, engineer, instructor and author. Massy is renowned for her multifaceted production/mixing and engineering skills, with her first major breakthrough occurring with 1993's Undertow, the full-length triple platinum-selling debut for Los Angeles alternative metal band Tool as well as her work with System of a Down, Johnny Cash, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Brazilian band South Cry.

She has been awarded over 25 gold and platinum records, including several Grammy nominated albums.

Doug McBride is a multi-talented individual who wears many hats—Founder and Chief Engineer at Gravity Studios, mastering engineer, multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, as well as a family man. Located in Chicago's Wicker Park, Gravity Studios has been a launchpad for various artists. Doug's career took off at the Chicago Recording Company, where he climbed the ranks from 1990 to 1993. He has worked with a plethora of artists, including Izzy Stradlin, Veruca Salt, Smashing Pumpkins, and Fall Out Boy. His initial success came when he produced the hit song "Seether" for Veruca Salt, which set the stage for Gravity Studios to become a go-to place for both local bands and major label artists.

In the late '90s and 2000s, Doug's reputation began to attract artists from around the country and even Europe. Names like Ben Kweller, Johnny Rzenik, Badly Drawn Boy, and Tahiti 80 made their way to Chicago specifically to work with him. Over the years, he has also produced tracks for Racheal Yamagata, Jack’s Mannequin, and Buddy Guy. In 2005, he expanded his business by opening Gravity Mastering, focusing on mastering services for other producers and engineers. Committed to supporting independent artists, Doug has adapted to the evolving recording industry while maintaining his straightforward approach.

Martin Cooke has worked with bands such as Death Cab for Cutie (Grammy Nomination in 2015), Of Monsters And Men, At The Drive-In, Chvrches, HAIM, Kimbra, Sea Wolf, Chaos Chaos, Destroy Boys, Hayes & Y, and Cathedrals.

Martin hails from the great state of Texas and has been playing music since the age of 10. He spent two years at the University of Houston, studying music performance and music education, before attending Berklee College of Music. While at Berklee, he discovered the world of manipulating and recording sound, and never looked back. After graduating with a dual major in Music Production & Engineering and Music Synthesis, Martin moved to Los Angeles and began working at the world class Henson Recording Studios. 

From 2013 to 2018 he engineered for producer/mixer Rich Costey, and has been involved in mixes for artists like HAIM, Phantogram, Chvrches, Foster The People, and many more. He is now established as an independent recording and mixing engineer, and has had the opportunity to work with great independent artists to help them take their music to a new level.

Born and raised in Los Angeles, CA  Estrada comes from a diverse musical background. The son of a world renowned Mariachi musician and a former professional Folklorico dancer - He was raised in the studio as well as on stage. As front man of Alternative / Electronic rock band Silver Snakes he released 4 full length albums and toured the United States and Europe with the likes of Korn, Glassjaw, Coheed and Cambria, Bring Me The Horizon, Chevelle and more. Known for his experimental production style as well as his keen sense of melody and pitch, Estrada has been a frequent collaborator in the studio with LA legends Touche Amore and Joyce Manor. 

In 2022 Estrada opened The Pale Moon Ranch, A recording studio situated in the mountains of Los Angeles county with panoramic views of the Mojave desert below. 

When he’s not making records, Alex can be found exploring various old west ghost towns with his cat Princess Pearblossom.

Joe Reinhart is an engineer, producer, mixer, and multi-instrumentalist from Philadelphia, PA.

Joe is also a Co-owner of Headroom Studio.

He has been recording bands since he was 15, starting off with a Tascam Portastudio in his parents’ basement.

Many bands and years later, in 2007, he recorded his band, Algernon Cadwallader’s debut LP, “Some Kind of Cadwallader” in a variety of locations, including his West Philly bedroom studio that he shared with his band members.

It was around that time that he also met Kyle at Drexel, and a couple years after that, moved into a warehouse that was dubbed “Big Mama’s” and put some gear in the extra rehearsal room that became The Headroom.

It was here that Joe recorded a ton of projects like Hop Along’s “Get Disowned”, which he later joined as a lead guitarist in 2012.

Since then he’s produced bands like Joyce Manor, Modern Baseball and so many others. When he’s not holed up in the studio or ripping it on stage, Joe is surfing.

Jon Kaplan is a Grammy award-winning Mixer, Producer and Composer who has enjoyed every minute of the past 25+ years working in the studio.

Following a dream-defining stretch in the 1990s as a member of Atlantic Records’ band The Hatters, his career behind the glass began in NYC as an engineer on hit records for *N Sync, Jennifer Lopez, LL Cool J, Mariah Carey, and others.

Dana Nielsen is a Grammy-nominated mixer, engineer, producer, and multi-instrumentalist known for his work with Rihanna, Adele, The Smashing Pumpkins, Neil Young, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Weezer, The Avett Brothers, Bob Dylan, and Kanye West.

Nielsen also frequently works with music for picture, producing, recording, and mixing a growing number of film scores and soundtracks, such as Kristen Wiig‘s Barb & Star Go To Vista Del Mar (Lionsgate), Will Ferrell’s Anchorman 2 (Paramount) and Casa De Mi Padre (NALA), as well as the Sam Rockwell/Olivia Wilde dark comedy Better Living Through Chemistry.

Based in Los Angeles, Nielsen has amassed credits that run the stylistic gamut from Neil Diamond to Slayer and just about every style in between. Nielsen’s work can be heard on albums by a diverse roster of artists. He worked as an engineer on Kanye West’s Yeezus(Roc-A-Fella) and Rihanna’s Loud (Def Jam), recorded Bob Dylan’s Tempest (Colombia), and recorded Neil Young and Crazy Horse for their album Colorado (Reprise).

As a composer, saxophonist, singer, and programmer, Nielsen’s own music and/or voice can be heard on countless TV commercials, as well as hit shows like Queer Eye for the Straight Guy, America’s Next Top Model, and the Duplass brothers’ HBO series Room 104.

Born in Wolverhampton, UK and growing up in the Midlands area Alex Newport currently lives in Los Angeles. The owner of Future Shock recording studio, Newport got his start as the founding member of UK noise-rock band Fudge Tunnel.

Moving behind the boards, Newport became a highly sought-after producer after producing hugely influential records for At the Drive-In (In/Casino/Out, 1998 and Vaya, 1999) and The Mars Volta (Tremulant, 2002). In 2011 he commenced an ongoing relationship with the Juno Award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Green, AKA City And Colour. Newport produced City And Colour’s Little Hell, which was recorded and mixed entirely on analog tape followed by The Hurry and the Harm – the band’s second consecutive #1 album on the Canadian charts and a top 20 Billboard US album. He also mixed the collaborative project between City and Colour and Pink called You+Me.

Alex produced Bloc Party’s critically acclaimed top-five UK album FOUR. Other notable productions and mixes include work with Matt Costa, Moaning, Death Cab For Cutie, The Sounds, Frank Turner, Two Gallants, Weaves, Tigercub, Bleached, and more.

Alex also sings and performs as one half of Red Love, with Matt Tong (ex-Bloc Party) – their debut album was released in Feb 2017.

Jesse Gander has been involved in sound and music production for over 20 years.  In this time, He’s recorded about 600 releases by over 500 bands and artists from around the world.  Jesse has worked with bands from Argentina, Colombia, Cuba, Italy, Japan, Scotland, Ireland, Mexico, Bulgaria, Thailand, Japan, Finland, England, Belgium, U.S.A., and of course Canada.  These projects have been varied in genre, with a focus on original, independent music.

Jesse started recording bands in basements on weekends when he was in high school in the 1990s. From there, he went on to run the B room of Profile Studio from 2001-2003.  Jesse was the Chief Recording Engineer along with Colin Stewart at the much celebrated The Hive Creative labs from 2003-2013.

Presently, Jesse has partnered with Stuart McKillop and Matt Roach to be the Owner/Chief Recording Engineer at Rain City Recorders in Vancouver, B.C.
