The Ultimate Carnivore Diet For Women By 4 Carnivore Experts.
I interviewed the best Carnivore experts to create the ultimate guide for women to start Carnivore the right way.
The Carnivore Diet is different for women than for men. Women have different hormones, including estrogen, progesterone, and testosterone, so the way we do things is a little different.
I spoke with Dr. Elisabeth Bright, Dr. Lisa Wiedeman, Kelly Hogan, and Dr. Robert Kiltz. The most interesting takeaway is that women benefit from following high-fat Carnivore fat.
Fat is very nourishing to our body, brain, and hormones, and when we get enough fat, like 70/30 or 80/20, this will allow our body to lower inflammation and easily lose body fat.
Oh, and I'm also creating a Carnivore Diet For Men guide, so stay tuned.

Carnivore isn't for everyone, but it's the best diet if you're interested in reversing aging. Carnivores eat only meat and fat; they don't eat any plants or carbohydrates. But you must avoid some dangerous foods on Carnivore, especially chicken!
Some Carnivore Foods Age You!
It's important to know that not all carnivore foods are good for you. In fact, some of them can actually accelerate the aging process and make you look older than you really are. The worst offenders include:
1. Chicken as it contains high amounts of oleic acid
2. Dairy products, including cheese, because they contain casein which contains high levels of arachidonic acid that promotes inflammation;
The carnivore diet has many health benefits, including reversing aging. But there are some toxic foods that you should avoid if you're following this plan, especially if your goal is anti-aging and weight loss.

How does fasting help with fat loss?
Fasting for weight loss can be a great tool to shed pounds, but knowing what happens in your body when you're not eating is essential. When food is withheld from the body, the body is forced to use its energy stores as fuel. Fat is broken down and used as an energy source, which helps reduce overall fat stores in the body. Fasting also causes the body to start burning fat for energy more quickly. This process usually takes place around 12 hours into fasting; however, it can happen earlier or later depending on how lean you are and how often you practice fasting.
Intermittent fasting
Intermittent fasting is a form of dieting in which you fast for short periods and then eat normally. It's become popular recently, with celebrities like Hugh Jackman touting its benefits. There are several different ways to do intermittent fasting:
Fat fasting
The fat-fasting diet is similar to the ketogenic diet because it’s high in fat and involves eating no protein or carbs. It has many of the same benefits as a keto diet—namely, weight loss and improved health—but with less hunger and no need to limit your fat intake.
Prolonged fasting
Prolonged fasting can sometimes be beneficial for weight loss plateaus. If you're struggling with plateauing on your diet and exercise plan, consider adding a longer fast of 24 hours or more once or twice weekly. The key here is not to make it last forever but rather give your body a break from constantly eating while still being able to get the nutrients it needs since the body naturally starts using up fat stores when food isn't consumed for long enough periods of time (more than 24 hours).
For most people, intermittent fasting is the easiest method to lose weight. It’s also one of the more effective ways to do it. Fasting allows you to eat fewer calories throughout the day and still achieve a healthy weight loss goal—without having to count calories or worry about restricting yourself from certain foods. While fasting may not be suitable for everyone, it’s worth trying if you have struggled with weight loss or are looking for an easy way to kick off a new fitness regime.

Why you're not losing fat on a Carnivore Diet?
The carnivore diet is not a weight-loss or fat-loss diet. It’s actually a nutrient-dense, high-fat, low-carb lifestyle that supports your body to burn fat as the main fuel source.
To be clear: If you are eating a carnivore diet and still think you need to lose weight—stop worrying about it! You will not lose weight on this diet unless you have some other underlying medical condition that affects your hormones and metabolism.
The only way for anyone to lose any significant amount of body fat is for their body to be able to use stored energy (fat) as its primary fuel source instead of relying on glucose from carbohydrates in foods like bread, pasta and potatoes. This metabolic state is often referred to as ‘ketosis’ because the production of ketones increases when the body switches from burning carbs for energy (glucose) which results in an increased rate of fat mobilization/burning while at rest (and during exercise).
Why just fat loss isn't the goal
The carnivore diet is not a weight loss plan.
The goal isn't to just lose weight; it's to have lean muscle mass and healthy organs. The goal isn't just primarily health; it's optimal performance in life, including activity levels! It may seem counterintuitive because most people equate leanness with good health, but what matters most is how well we function as humans rather than how low our BMI (body mass index) is or how much visceral belly fat we have.
Why being fat-adapted is more important
If you’re a meat eater, then going on a Carnivore Diet may be the easiest way to achieve fat adaptation. This is because it allows you to eat as much meat as your heart desires without taking in any carbs and sugars at all.
If you are trying to lose weight on this diet, I have some news: being “fat-adapted” is more important than losing fat (and it can prevent you from gaining muscle).

Fat (especially butter) is the new superfood. It's not just good for your brain but also for your ovaries. The right kind of fat can even help women with PCOS and infertility.
PCOS and infertility can be caused by a high-sugar diet.
For women with PCOS, insulin is a hormone that regulates blood sugar. Women with PCOS have high levels of insulin in their bodies, which can cause infertility and many other health problems. This is because when you have a lot of insulin in your body, it stops the ovaries from releasing an egg each month and can cause cysts to form on your ovaries.
Fat regulates female reproductive hormones
Fat regulates the female reproductive hormones that can cause ovulation and fertility issues in women with PCOS. Fat is important for fertility because it helps to regulate:
High-fat carnivore cures many women's health disorders
It may seem strange to think of a high-fat carnivore diet as a potential cure for PCOS and infertility, but it’s not so unusual if you consider the underlying causes.
In most cases, PCOS is caused by inflammation in your body. This inflammation can be caused by a variety of factors including stress, poor gut health and food allergies. Eating a high-fat diet will help reduce this inflammation because fat is anti-inflammatory.
Similarly with infertility: Infertility is often due to endometrial scarring from excessive estrogen, an egg quality problem like cysts on your ovaries, or poor egg quality due to insulin resistance (which is common in women with PCOS). High-fat diets have been shown in multiple studies to improve ovulatory function and egg quality by reducing these factors in both animals and humans
So, to answer the question “Are fats good for PCOS and infertility?”—Yes! Yes, they are. High-fat diets are an effective treatment for PCOS, infertility, and other health disorders. They can help regulate female reproductive hormones, which can lead to better fertility and ovulation in women with these conditions. And there’s no need for calorie counting or portion control—simply eat high-quality animal foods until you feel full!

I interviewed 50 Carnivore experts in 2022. The stars of this year were Dr Shawn Baker, Dr Anthony Chaffee, Kelly Hogan, and Dr Elisabeth Bright, and wow...
I learnt a lot!
There were many surprises, but the most startling of all was how much I learned about the importance of fat. The experts were adamant that we should be eating more fat, especially saturated fats like butter and ghee. They argued that this is what makes us human and it's what our bodies need to thrive. They said that fatty meat is so important—and fruit and nut consumption should be minimized because they're toxic (at least in large quantities).
The experts also told me why fasting doesn't work: it causes a loss of muscle protein which slows down your metabolism by around 10% per day (compared with if you didn't fast). This can result in weight gain over time so it's not recommended unless you want to lose weight very slowly over months or years! It seems obvious now but I didn't know this before talking with these experts.
And there's so much evidence for Carnivore
If you're considering Carnivore, there's a lot of evidence backing it up. Here are some things that the experts told me:

Many women can use Carnivore to sail through menopause. Dr Lisa Wiedeman has followed a high-fat Carnivore Diet to heal her hormones with no menopausal symptoms, she has also improved her libido, sleep and so much more!
Carnivore Helps with Menopause
A carnivore diet is an all-meat diet, where the only foods eaten are meat and the fat that comes with it. While this sounds like a drastic change from your current eating habits, it may be helpful to consider making this change during menopause.
Menopausal symptoms include hot flashes and night sweats as well as insomnia and restlessness. By eliminating carbohydrates from your diet, you can reduce or eliminate these symptoms. Carnivore also helps with hormones because they feed off of protein which will help stabilize them and balance out the estrogen in your body thus decreasing irritability and mood swings associated with menopause.
Why Fat is Important
It’s no secret that fat is an essential nutrient for humans. As you may have learned in school, fat is an energy source and essential for hormone production. It keeps us warm; it helps us absorb vitamins A, D, E and K; it provides cushioning for our organs; it even helps keep our skin supple and smooth!

Mona Vand was a 7-year vegan and destroyed her gut health by eating vegetables and grains.
Vegetables destroy your gut health
Plants have anti-nutrients. They cause leaky gut and IBS. They contain antinutrients like oxalates, lectins and phytates. That means that they have a negative effect on our bodies in the long term by damaging the digestive system and your gut.
The most common problem caused by plants is a leaky gut syndrome (LGS), SIBO and dysbiosis.
Animals are the most nutrient-dense foods on earth
An animal-based diet contains all the essential nutrients humans need to thrive like B vitamins, zinc, choline, and iron.
The problem with a vegan diet extends far more than just eating plants. The ideology is problematic and causes problems with our hormones, the brain and the gut microbiome.
Dr Mona Vand has introduced some meat into her diet and is following a loosely based keto or carnivore diet, with exceptional results.

Paul Saladino's carnivore diet is wrong
Fruit contains a lot of sugar, which means it triggers your body’s reward system, making you feel pleasure. The problem is that the sweetness of fruit isn't from nature—it comes from sugar, which we're told causes us to gain weight and increases our risk for diabetes and heart disease.
Fruit contains fructose which is toxic
It's a good idea to avoid fruit. Fruit contains fructose which is toxic to the liver and kidneys. Fructose is a simple sugar that isn't essential for the body and actually causes insulin resistance in some people, leading to obesity and diabetes. In addition, fructose has been linked to heart disease and cancer.
Carnivore Camaraderie debates Paul Saladino's meat and fruit diet
Paul Saladino is a controversial figure. While some see him as an inspirational figure, others have accused him of promoting a dangerous diet. Joey, the Carnivore Camaraderie debates Paul's diet, saying it's deadly for our health.
For many Carnivores, fruit is not an essential part of the diet. Especially if you are sedentary or have diabetes, overweight, fruit should not be included in your diet.

Carnivore Diet heals inflammation and disease
The carnivore diet is the only diet that reverses glaucoma. It heals inflammation, and it does this by reversing disease. The only way to reverse a disease is by removing its cause, which must be done before any lasting results can be realized.
A complete reversal of glaucoma requires removing all grains and legumes from your diet, as well as all other plant foods including leafy greens (kale, spinach etc), root vegetables (potatoes) and tubers (sweet potato).
Carnivore Diet cures glaucoma and more eye diseases
The carnivore diet can cure glaucoma, as well as macular degeneration, cataract and dry eyes.
Glaucoma is a disease of the eye where fluid pressure builds up in the eye, damaging your optic nerve and causing vision loss. Your optic nerve connects your retina to your brain, so it can be thought of as similar to a phone line connecting two cities together (your retina is like one city, while your brain is another). The “wires” that connect these two are called neurons; when they get damaged by an increase in fluid pressure within the eyeball (which happens with glaucoma), it causes cell death and blindness.
Dr Lisa Wiedeman is a strong advocate of an all-meat diet to cure eye disease as well as joint pain, arthritis, hypertension, diabetes and obesity.
The carnivore diet is one of the most powerful healing diets in the world, with many people reporting that they’ve been cured of diseases like glaucoma after switching to this lifestyle. With so much information out there on this subject, it can be difficult to determine what works and what doesn’t. We hope that this article has given you some insight into how a carnivorous lifestyle can help heal eye diseases like glaucoma and dry eyes.

Why are you supposed to eat more butter?
Because it's good for you! Not only is it full of essential vitamins and minerals, but it also contains a lot of fat—and we all know that fat is good for the body.
Butter has been demonized in recent years, but this isn't something new. Back in the 1960s and 70s, heart disease was seen as something most people could avoid by avoiding saturated fats like butter (and eating more carbohydrates). However, recent studies have shown that saturated fats actually don't raise cholesterol levels or cause heart disease—and they may even be beneficial for your health!
So how much should you eat?
Dr Elisabeth Bright recommends 1 stick of butter a day, which is 112g or 8 tablespoons, spread out over 3-4 meals during the day. You can try a fatty latte, brown butter bites and add butter to your fatty meats.
High Fat Carnivore has so many benefits
It's a great way to lose fat.
If you're on a high-fat carnivore diet, you're bound to lose weight because it's so much easier for your body to burn fat than it is for it to store it. This is especially true if you're eating lots of healthy fats and animal products with no carbohydrates or sugars in them—the kind of foods that Dr. Shawn Baker recommends for his high-fat carnivore diet plan. By eating this way, he says: "You'll never feel hungry."
Dr Elisabeth Bright also suggests high fat Carnivore will improve:
If you're looking to try out a new diet or just want to be healthy, I would highly recommend High Fat Carnivore. It's easy and delicious, plus it has tons of benefits! The best part about this diet is that it doesn't require any fancy ingredients or expensive supplements - just some good old-fashioned butter and fatty meat!

How does the Carnivore Diet help with heart disease?
The Carnivore Diet is high in saturated fat, which is linked to a decrease in heart disease. Saturated fat can help lower bad LDL and triglyceride levels, both of which have been associated with an increased risk of heart disease. In addition to its benefits for the heart, saturated fat has also been found to have positive effects on brain function and memory.
Animal-based diet lowers inflammation
Saturated fat is a type of fat that occurs naturally in meat and animal products. It's often vilified for being unhealthy, but research shows that people who eat more saturated fat can lower their risk of heart disease by up to 30 per cent. It turns out that saturated fats don't just help your heart; they also reduce inflammation in your body on multiple levels.
In fact, one study showed that eating red meat led to a 20 per cent reduction in C-reactive protein (CRP), which is an indicator of inflammation throughout the body. Inflammation is a major risk factor for many diseases including cancer, depression, asthma and obesity—so by lowering CRP levels through diet alone (without added medication or supplements), you'll be helping yourself stay healthy!
Carnivore improves heart health and lowers the risk of heart attacks
If you have a heart condition or are at risk of a heart attack, a carnivore diet can help lower inflammation and prevent heart attacks. Dr Ovadia also discusses the 5 keys to metabolic health to not just survive, but thrive in life.

Why the keto diet doesn't work for everyone
The main reason why the Keto diet isn't sustainable is that you will eventually crave carbs and sugar. The problem with the keto diet is that it still allows for highly toxic and addictive foods like plants, fruit and nut butter. Allowing any type of carbs in your diet can lead people down an unhealthy path where bingeing becomes normal behaviour, which can cause more health problems and nutrient deficiencies.
The Carnivore diet is a high-protein and fat diet that consists of only animal products. The premise is that eating meat, fish, eggs and dairy can be healthy as long as you are also avoiding carbohydrates and sugars. You’ll need to avoid grains, legumes, vegetables and fruit on this diet.
High Fat Carnivore is optimal to heal
Carnivore is an optimal diet for healing. And it allows you to get the most out of your ketogenic lifestyle if your goal is weight loss because it cuts out foods that have major carb content like bread, pasta and other grains. In addition to being less damaging to the gut due to its higher nutrient density, it has been shown in studies that you can lose more weight on a Carnivore diet than any other type of diet because there is no food restriction and no calorie counting required.
Carnivore is best to melt fat
Carnivore is the best to lose stubborn fat. Studies show that meat is highly nutritious and a good source of vitamins, minerals and amino acids. The Carnivore diet is simple and effective for losing weight as it does not require tracking macros or calories.
Coach Cherish has achieved remarkable Carnivore Diet results following a high-fat protocol which can be optimal for those that need to heal.

Why do people start carnivore diets in the first place?
Most of them do it to lose weight, build muscle, and reduce inflammation.
People who want to lose fat typically start this approach because they've seen other people's carnivore weight loss results and are curious about whether it will work for them too. A lot of people who switch over report that they don't need as much sleep at night because their digestion is better and they feel more rested upon waking up. They also report having more energy throughout the day—even if they're not exercising!
How much protein should I eat on a Carnivore Diet?
According to Coach Bronson Dant, if you are on the carnivore diet and want to get enough protein in your diet, it's important that you eat at least one gram of protein per pound of lean body mass.
How much fat should I eat on a Carnivore Diet?
In addition to protein, how much dietary fat should you eat? According to Dr Bergman (and many other experts), the recommended daily intake for saturated fat is 1 gram per kilogram (2.2 pounds) of lean body mass which translates into about 1/3 cup per day for someone who weighs 150 lbs or 70 kg and eats no carbs at all (more info here). This can be adjusted according to other factors such as activity level and sleep quality, but it seems like a good starting point for most people right now!
Whether you are looking for a diet that will help you lose weight and feel great, or if you want to improve your health, the carnivore diet is a powerful option.

The carnivore diet involves consuming only meat and fat. A zero-carb diet will help you lose weight, gain muscle, and improve your health. Many people have heard about the carnivore diet weight loss results and some impressive before and after transformations.
In this interview with Raymond Nazon, we discuss his 90-day fat loss program as well as over 700 real-life transformations eating an all-meat diet.
Carnivore Diet before and after results
The Carnivore Diet is a nutrient-dense way of eating, and it's not just anecdotal evidence that shows the benefits of this diet. Thousands of people have tried it out and phenomenal results. And these are real, before-and-after photos! You might be sceptical, but these transformations speak for themselves.
Is the Carnivore Diet right for you?
If you're looking to lose weight, eating a zero-carb diet might be best for you. A study published in the Journal of Obesity found that participants who followed a zero-carbohydrate carnivore diet lost more weight than those on low-fat vegetarian and vegan diets.
How do I start? You will need to eliminate all carbohydrates from your diet, including vegetables and fruit. Stick with high-fat meats like beef, pork and fatty fish as your main sources of protein; eggs are also an effective source of protein and fat.
Can you melt fat & lose saggy skin with an all-meat diet?
Yes! A carnivore diet will lower inflammation, which can cause weight loss, and also release toxins and adipose fat that's been sitting in your body for years. Your skin will tighten over time as a result of these two things.
Yes, you can lose weight with the carnivore diet!
The carnivore diet is a zero-carb diet, so you'll eat high-fat (especially saturated fat) meats. According to Dr Shawn Baker, who practices this way of eating, it's not a low-carb diet -- it's a no-carb diet.
Raymond's 90-Day Fat loss Program
If you need a structured program, Raymond Nazon has a 90 Day program, here are the highlights to get you started:
1. Eat three Carnivore meals per day
2. Coffee as dessert
3. Eat until you are full
4. After 2 weeks start 2MADs then OMADs
5. Begin rolling 48-hour fasts
The results of the carnivore diet speak for themselves. Not only are you able to lose weight, but also improve your health and overall well-being. This is not just a fad diet that will eventually fail you. The key is to make sure you choose high-fat meats to feel satiated and heal inflammation.

Dr Anthony Chaffee is a strict carnivore, who insists that all his patients try the carnivore diet. However, this has led to some mistakes from newbies on the "all meat" diet who don't understand it fully.
While it may be tempting to eat dairy, especially if you're craving that creamy goodness, it's not worth the health risks.
Dairy products are high in lactose, a sugar that many people can’t digest well. If you have trouble digesting lactose, eating dairy products will cause bloating and gas—not exactly what you want to do when trying to impress someone at dinner. Dairy also contains hormones that can increase inflammation throughout your body and even affect how your body stores fat (and no one wants to be an angry blob).
Coffee is a stimulant, which means it can increase your heart rate, blood pressure, and alertness. This makes it a bad choice on the carnivore diet because you want to keep your body calm and alert.
So how do we replace our morning cup o’ joe? Black tea! Black tea contains polyphenols that have been shown to have antioxidant properties (antioxidants reduce free radicals in our bodies). Plus black tea has less caffeine than coffee – about half as much – so this swap shouldn't disrupt your sleep cycle too much.
Alcohol can cause inflammation and liver damage. And alcohol consumption has been linked to weight gain, especially when consumed with sugary mixers such as soda or juice. Alcohol also contains calories that can hinder your progress toward fat loss goals if you drink too much of it on a regular basis.
Dr Anthony Chaffee is a strict carnivore and avoids plant toxins and all fruit. He is not a fan of the ketogenic diet and prefers to eat high-fat foods that he believes are more easily digestible.
Dr Chaffee recommends eating mostly meat and water. If you want to go out occasionally and drink that's okay but over 95% of your diet should be animal-based!

Avoid all fruit as it contains fructose, a sugar that is absorbed by the body in large amounts and causes the liver to work overtime metabolizing it. As a result of this over-exertion, your liver becomes fatigued and cannot do its normal job of filtering out toxins. This leads to brain fatigue and poor cognitive function.
You might be thinking “fruit is healthy!” but you would be wrong if that fruit contains fructose. Fructose is an unhealthy sugar found in many fruits such as apples, peaches and even berries (think blueberries).
Fructose is metabolized differently than glucose, which can cause many problems. The liver breaks down fructose and converts it into triglycerides (a type of fat), and these fats are stored in the liver as fat. This can lead to fatty liver disease and inflammation.
Fructose also has a unique metabolic pathway that produces uric acid, which is associated with gout and other diseases
Fructose can be quickly absorbed into the bloodstream, so it spikes blood sugar levels and insulin production more than glucose from starch. This causes a lot of damage to the liver, which converts fructose into fat that’s stored away in your body.
Fructose also causes brain fatigue and poor cognitive function by damaging our gut microbiome; though this may seem like it has nothing to do with vegetables, we are what we eat!
There are many doctors who promote the carnivore diet, but none with as much clinical experience and knowledge of the brain as Dr Anthony Chaffee. He is a neurologist with over 20 years of experience in treating patients with neurological disorders, including multiple sclerosis (MS).
Dr Chaffee believes that humans are not designed to eat carbohydrates or any other foods besides meat. Not only is it good for your health, but it's also good for your waistline!
Eating meat is not only good for your health, but it's also essential. Meat and fat fuel your brain, which has the highest energy requirements of any organ in the body. If you're not eating enough animal products, you're putting yourself at risk for developing Alzheimer’s disease or heart disease.

The Carnivore Diet focuses on consuming only animal products. It was popularized by Shawn Baker and has gained a lot of attention from the media and people who follow it. The Carnivore Diet consists of eating only meat, eggs, cheese, poultry, and fish. While we know what to eat on a zero-carb diet, what are some approved drinks to boost fat loss and energy?
Tea is great but it contains tannins
Tea is a great beverage to have on the Carnivore Diet because it has the same benefits as coffee, but without negative side effects like caffeine. The only drawback is that tea contains tannins, which can cause constipation and reduce your body’s ability to absorb nutrients from other foods. To avoid this problem, drink herbal teas instead of black tea like English Breakfast or Earl Grey. There are many types of herbal teas available on Amazon and at most grocery stores, so find one with a flavour that you enjoy!
Benefits of Coffee
Coffee is a great drink to consume on an animal-based diet.
Caffeine has several benefits, including improving mental performance and helping to lift your mood. You might also notice that it helps you feel more awake and alert, enabling you to stay focused on the task at hand for long hours. If you're interested in trying coffee as an alternative to soda or other sugary drinks, we recommend drinking it with some heavy cream.—this can make the taste much smoother for those who aren't used to strong flavours like black coffee.
What is raw milk?
Raw milk is milk that has not been pasteurized. Pasteurization is a process to kill bacteria and make milk safer to drink, but it can leave some nutrients behind. Raw milk contains probiotics, which are beneficial for your immune system. The FDA has recently relaxed its policy on raw milk sales in states like California where people are able to buy unprocessed milk from local farmers directly from the farm through a vending machine or stand on site. This makes it easier for those who want to consume raw milk because now they don't have to go through a middleman—you can simply visit the farm directly!
Drink spirits on Carnivore
On Carnivore, you should use alcohol sparingly. It can lead to dehydration (which is dangerous on the diet) and is high in sugar. Avoid sweet drinks like soda pop or fruit juices; these are also very high in carbohydrates, which will make it harder for your body to burn fat.
If you do decide to drink alcohol while on Carnivore, stick with vodka & soda with no lime juice (this at least lowers the carb count). You may also want to consider low-carb beer if we’re talking about a night out with friends.
The benefit of electrolytes when starting Carnivore
The main benefit of electrolytes is they help with hydration and loss of minerals, but they also work as a natural diuretic and have many other benefits. Sea salt, for example, contains potassium and magnesium—two minerals that help with muscle contraction and relaxation. The recommended daily dose for these two minerals is 2-4g per day each; sea salt has about 2-3g per teaspoon!
I believe that starting the Carnivore Diet with a drink, such as coffee or tea, is a great way to get started on this lifestyle. Remember that you don’t need to follow the rules of someone else's diet; everyone has different needs and preferences when it comes to eating. If you prefer coffee or tea over water, then go for it! Make sure your drink contains no sugar though because this will cause insulin spikes which could disrupt ketosis if done regularly enough.

In this interview with Sally Norton, we discussed how a certain chemical compound called Oxalates can be extremely damaging to your health and cause neurotoxicity, anxiety, arthritis and chronic pain.
Oxalates are naturally occurring compounds found in plants, including wheat and beans. They can cause inflammation, pain and kidney stones by forming crystals in the kidneys.
The only way to eliminate oxalates is to follow a low oxalate diet, or even better a Carnivore Diet. As you remove all these chemicals and nasties from your diet, your body can heal.
The carnivore diet is a zero-carb high-fat diet that has been used to cure autoimmune diseases. The carnivore diet can also cure inflammation, as well as pain and other symptoms of autoimmune disease.
Carnivores are people who eat only animal products such as meat, eggs and dairy products. They don’t eat any plant matter at all. Plants contain anti-nutrients that can be toxic to the body over time, that's why as we age we start to suffer from chronic illness and fatigue.
The carnivore diet is an effective way to treat chronic pain caused by inflammation because it eliminates all sources of carbohydrate intake that would otherwise contribute to systemic inflammation in your body. Therefore removing them from your diet will help reduce inflammation caused by autoimmunity or injury because there won't be any excess glucose floating around in your bloodstream causing distress signals on demand.

The carnivore diet is a meat-based diet that eliminates all carbohydrates from your food intake. This means it's recommended you eat meat, poultry, fish and eggs with no vegetables, fruits or starchy carbohydrates.
This approach is similar to the ketogenic diet in that it also relies on fats for fuel, but there are some key differences: no sugar or fruit allowed! The carnivore diet was popularized by Shawn Baker and Steve Phinney in 2016 when they published their research paper “Atherosclerosis: A Potential Risk Factor For Obesity” which highlighted many benefits of this type of eating pattern.
Find out why Dr Kevin Stock started the carnivore diet.
Dr Kevin Stock wanted to know if a meat-only diet would help him build lean muscle and improve mental clarity. Kevin had done my research, and it seemed like this approach could be the best way to get lean. A lot of people have started doing it because they feel like they’re not getting results from other diets.
You may be able to lose and gain muscle simultaneously, or ‘body recomposition’.
You can gain muscle while losing fat by increasing your calorie intake, just as you can lose fat while gaining muscle by reducing your calories.
You could have more energy throughout the day.
When you are on a carnivore diet, your body is not getting any carbohydrates. As a result, your body no longer has to process carbs and can focus more on fat burning. This means that you can potentially have more energy throughout the day than you did before going zero carbs.
Carnivore diets also help with brain fog by improving insulin sensitivity in the brain. A study done by a team at the University of California Davis found that low-carbohydrate diets were effective at reducing inflammation in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). The researchers concluded that "dietary interventions may be useful for managing symptoms associated with [MS]."
There are lots of reasons that people choose to go on the carnivore diet, so find out if it is right for you!

The carnivore diet has been around since the dawn of time, but it's only recently been gaining traction in modern society. Some people are choosing to go on this diet for health reasons, but many others are doing so for mental health reasons. In this interview with Natalie West, we'll discuss some of the ways that going on a carnivore diet can improve your mental health.
A morbidly obese man named Shawn Baker was able to lose over 100 pounds in a matter of months by going on the carnivore diet. Baker is a former bodybuilder and he's now a carnivore diet advocate. He lost over 100 pounds on the carnivore diet and has suffered from depression for most of his life.
Some people have experienced a reduction in anxiety due to the removal of carbohydrates. Eating carbs can cause blood sugar swings, that's why you can have lots of energy when you eat carbs and after a few hours you feel angry. Examples of foods that are high in carbohydrates are bread, pasta, and rice
How to identify if you are experiencing anxiety due to carbohydrates: If you feel better after avoiding these foods for a few weeks, then it's a good idea to continue avoiding them.
People have reported feeling happier and more positive.
The carnivore diet can also improve your mental health by reducing anxiety, improving focus and concentration, and increasing energy levels. Natalie West suggests eating purely beef as it contains important amino acids to build lean muscle and feed your brain. Many people report experiencing greater productivity as a result of eating this way.
One of the main benefits for mental health is the improved mood caused by not having to deal with sugar crashes, caffeine withdrawal, or stomach aches. You might feel happier because your body is finally getting the nutrients it's been craving for years.
Key nutrients from eating a carnivore diet include:
⌲ Vitamin D can help with depression, anxiety and sleep disorders.
⌲ Vitamin B12 is essential for a healthy nervous system, as well as for healthy skin and hair, bone formation and blood clotting. It may also improve memory loss, fatigue and mood swings associated with aging.
⌲ Zinc helps regulate neurotransmitters — brain chemicals that carry messages between nerve cells — which are involved in mood control. Zinc supplements may help prevent relapses in people who have recovered from depression but are at high risk of another episode.
⌲ Iron deficiency can cause anemia (a lack of red blood cells), which could lead to fatigue or low energy levels that affect your moods as well as physical performance during exercise or work activities.
While there are many studies that have been done to determine whether or not this diet is good for your mental health, the results seem extremely positive. If you're interested in trying out this new approach then it might be worth taking a chance on yourself!

The carnivore diet has gained incredible popularity for its healing and fat loss benefits. The carnivore diet focuses exclusively on consuming an animal-based diet, prioritising ruminant meats.
What is the Carnivore Feasting and Fasting Method?
The Feasting and Fasting method was created by Coach Raymond Nazon, master coach of the Steak and Butter Gang. With this method, there are three stages:
1. Priming - A 2-week period of over-satiating your body with nutrients, consuming 3 meals a day.
2. 2MADs - moving to a 2MAD diet should be quite easy at this stage.
3. Fasting - moving to an OMAD approach or rolling 48s
How does this method help with burning belly fat?
When you start a carnivore diet, there can be an adaptation phase. Getting used to eating a zero-carb diet should occur over a few weeks or months using the Bulletproof Carnivore Method. After this transition phase, you can enter the feasting and fasting method which allows for intermittent fasting and prolonged fasting to occur.
Where the magic happens! In this fasting state, your body will use its own body fat as energy via a process of ketosis. When you are consuming a Standard American Diet, your body runs off glucose most of the time, which is a short-acting form of energy. That's why you feel the blood sugar swings, and energy crashes from carbohydrates. When you stick with an animal-based diet paired with natural fasting, you will notice a lower body fat percentage, flatter stomach and more visible abs.
What about mental clarity?
Another benefit of the carnivore fasting and feasting method is mental clarity and sharpness. Typically the human brain runs off ketones and fat as its prime energy fuel. When you are fasting you will notice more mental clarity, easier decision making and less need for distractions. Some carnivore experts have called it a zen experience. When the brain is hyper-focused and clear.

It is a well-known fact that dairy products are a great source of protein. But there's more to it than that: dairy can also provide benefits for your body and mind.
In this interview with Dr Bill Schindler, we discuss the benefits of raw dairy and how to eat like a human.
Let's go into detail about what makes raw dairy so special, how it can help you achieve your fitness goals and why it's an important part of a balanced diet.
Raw milk, like all other dairy products, is the best form of milk you can consume. It is more nutritious than conventional milk because it contains beneficial probiotics and enzymes that are destroyed during pasteurization.
Raw milk also contains higher levels of beneficial minerals that are lost during the processing of other types of dairy products. For example, raw cheese has higher levels of calcium than pasteurized cheese. These factors make raw dairy much easier to digest than conventional forms of dairy such as pasteurized or homogenized cheeses which may cause bloating or indigestion in some people.

The OMAD diet is a form of intermittent fasting that allows you to eat all your meals in just one meal. The idea behind this diet is that you can get all the benefits of fasting and calorie restriction without actually restricting your calorie intake.
What is OMAD?
This form of fasting has gained popularity in recent years, but it isn't new: Eating one meal per day has been practised for centuries by religious groups like Christians, Muslims, Hindus and Buddhists (though not all religions permit or encourage fasting).
How to start One Meal A Day?
You can start with a 2MAD diet. This means you eat 2 meals per day. These meals should both consist of animal-based foods that are high in fat and protein. When you are only eating one or two meals a day it's important to eat the most nutrient-dense foods, which is a carnivore or keto lifestyle.
Pair a Carnivore Diet with eating OMAD
A carnivore diet is a high-fat, zero-carbohydrate diet. It's become more popular in recent years, thanks to stories of rapid weight loss and increased energy.
You may have heard that the carnivore diet can be combined with intermittent fasting — and you're right! Fasting is a great way to increase autophagy (the process where your body clears out old cells).
Why should you start?
OMAD is a great way to lose weight, get into ketosis and improve your mental health.
There are other benefits too:
Is OMAD healthy and safe?
If eaten in moderation, OMAD is a healthy way to lose weight. It's very effective for burning fat, and it can also be used as an appetite suppressant.
However, if you're trying to lose weight with OMAD, remember that some people may not need as much food as others. If you're one of those people who don't eat enough on OMAD (like me), your body will start storing fat again because it thinks there isn't enough food coming in. You should add some extra meals if this happens to you so that your body won’t keep storing fat unnecessarily!

What is the Carnivore Diet?
It's a zero-carb, high-fat diet that consists of meat and water. It made headlines in the United States when Dr Shawn Baker appeared on the Joe Rogan podcast and advocated for it as an effective treatment for autoimmune disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn’s disease.
Why you should eat nose to tail?
You're probably familiar with the nose-to-tail eating trend, which is all about consuming all parts of an animal. Nose-to-tail eating has been practised for centuries and is a sustainable way to eat because it utilizes every part of the animal. You can apply this same principle to an animal-based diet by incorporating organs into your meals:
Dr Bill Schindler has some advice for you: eat like a human. Being an omnivore, humans have evolved to eat the whole animal, so there's no need to be afraid of getting protein from meat when it's done right—you can enjoy your steak in all its glory!
But don't forget that there is plenty of nutrition from eating whole animals, including muscle meat, organs and blood.

B1 vitamin deficiency is an underrated yet overlooked condition that can lead to serious chronic disease. In this interview with Elliot Overton, we discuss vitamin B1 Thiamine and why the carnivore diet may not fix all health conditions.
What is vitamin B1 (Thiamine)?
B1 is a very important vitamin that regulates energy metabolism, it's important for brain health, memory, cognition and neurological function. Typically we do not hear about the importance of B1 for overall health, rather the focus is on B group vitamins and B12.
Why is B1 deficiency so important, and how to treat it?
A deficiency in B1 can cause some major side effects, the main one being fatigue. It can also cause brain fog, peripheral nerve dysfunction, and brain diseases like Parkinson's Disease, Alzheimer's and other neurological diseases.
The best way to treat it is through supplementation of high-dose vitamin B1. Elliot discusses what to look for regarding quality.
Is the Carnivore Diet the best diet for health?
Elliot Overton believes the carnivore diet is great for overall health, but may not treat serious underlying micronutrient deficiencies that may have been present for years. The carnivore diet is great as you get most of your nutrients from fatty meats, eggs, seafood and butter. However, if you still don't feel 100% after a carnivore diet or lion diet, further investigation may be needed.

Kelly Hogan has been a strict carnivore for 12.5 years, eating mostly beef, some salt and water. Like many of us she experienced binge eating disorder and sugar addiction and has cured this through the carnivore diet.
What is a binge eating disorder?
Binging eating disorder is a pattern of overconsuming typically processed carbohydrates, then restricting and binging again. It is a repetitive cycle that causes physical and mental distress. Typically binge eating comes with body images issues, and childhood trauma and the pattern keeps happening until you solve the root cause
How can the carnivore diet help with binge eating disorders?
The carnivore diet is a zero-carb diet and is packed full of nutrients. Typically when we binge, we overeat on sugar and carbs; that also makes sugar addiction worse as well. This was my experience in my 20s. Over-consuming carbs and restricting what I was eating, over-exercising, and calorie counting as well.
The carnivore diet takes away the addictive nature of many processed foods. Meat is truly healing and somewhat benign when it comes to addiction.

How meat can heal autoimmune disease
The most exciting thing about the carnivore diet is that it can help with a variety of diseases, including autoimmune diseases and chronic illnesses. The meat contains nutrients that heal the body, support proper immune function, and promote good health. In fact, many people report that they have experienced an improvement in their overall health once they started eating this way.
The best example of this is chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms associated with CFS sufferers. Dr Shawn Baker suffered from fatigue and pain, which was not going away until he cured it with nutrition.
The cause of autoimmune disease
Autoimmune disease is caused by a misdirected immune system. The immune system is supposed to attack pathogens, but in autoimmune disease, it attacks the body's own cells and tissues. This can result in inflammation, tissue damage, and other symptoms of illness. Any organ or tissue of the body can be affected by the autoimmune disease — including your skin!
Eating only meat can help with fatigue & chronic pain
Fatigue is a complex and multifaceted problem. It's caused by a combination of factors that can include:
⌲ poor sleep quality
⌲ stress and anxiety
⌲ nutrient deficiencies (including iron and vitamin D)
The carnivore diet, which is essentially eating only meat, may help with all three of these issues. For instance, the high protein content can increase energy levels by improving the balance of neurotransmitters in our brains. The lower-carbohydrate content allows us to avoid spikes in blood sugar that can make us feel tired or sluggish after meals. And lastly, the lack of processed foods means there are fewer chemicals interfering with how our bodies work—including artificial sweeteners that some believe contribute to fatigue.
So, if you're having any of these symptoms, maybe consider giving a carnivore diet a try! Carnivores are not just for people who want to lose weight or cure their candida infections. Carnivores are for everyone who wants to feel better and live longer. It might sound crazy at first, but I promise it's not as hard as it seems. Just start slow by eliminating grains from your diet and slowly adding meat until you find yourself getting all the nutrients necessary for optimal health!
