I got to finally chat with my Pastor Brandon Capuano... We talk Church Planting, challenges, and Shrimp Tacos.

Brandon grew up in a Roman Catholic home. At age ten, Brandon came to faith in Jesus Christ, following the example of his mom and dad. Influenced heavily as a student by his youth pastor, it was clear that God was calling Brandon into full-time ministry. Following his calling, Brandon spent a year ministering in the projects of New Orleans, was trained at Word of Life Bible Institute, obtained a BS in Biblical Counseling at Crossroads Bible College (Indianapolis, IN), and is in the process of obtaining an MA at the Talbot School of Theology (Los Angeles, CA). After spending two years as a youth pastor in California, God called Brandon to plant a church. That calling came to life in 2016 with the launch of Harvest Bible Chapel in Rochester, NY, which is now known as Beacon Hill Church.

Brandon and his wife, Shannon, just celebrated 20 years of marriage and have four children.

She does this by educating, coaching, and empowering individuals through powerful training, individual and organizational resources and direction that helps people build a culture of hope everywhere that they go. Gloire Emmanuel Ndongala was born in the Capital of Democratic Republic of Congo, Kinshasa. When he was a child, the tyrant Mobutu came after his father, which put his whole family in danger. By the grace of God, they all escaped and came to America. At the age of 15, his father abandoned his family and he was taken in by a Hispanic family in Colorado, the Lucero’s. Overcoming all these odds, Gloire managed to make it through college graduating with Bachelors in Church Ministries (Leadership), an Associates in Psychology, and an Associates of Arts in Bible. He is married to his lovely wife, Katie, and has two children: Dóxa (son) and Penayel (daughter).

He founded Commoners Communion in 2017 to explore what it means to become a deeply prayerful people in our times.
