इदं शरीरं कौन्तेय क्षेत्रमित्यभिधीयते |
एतद्यो वेत्ति तं प्राहु: क्षेत्रज्ञ इति तद्विद: || 2||
śhrī-bhagavān uvācha
idaṁ śharīraṁ kaunteya kṣhetram ity abhidhīyate
etad yo vetti taṁ prāhuḥ kṣhetra-jña iti tad-vidaḥ
🔴 The Blessed Lord said:
This body, O son of Kunti, is called the Ksetra, the field (because the fruits of action are reaped in it). He who knows it (as his property) is the Ksetrajna or the Spirit who knows the field. So say those versed in this subject.
🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 13 Verse 2:
क्षेत्रज्ञं चापि मां विद्धि सर्वक्षेत्रेषु भारत |
क्षेत्रक्षेत्रज्ञयोर्ज्ञानं यत्तज्ज्ञानं मतं मम || 3||

Desireless, pure, resourceful, unattached, unworried and without any sense of self-centered agency -- a devotee thus endowed is dear to Me.
🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 12 Verse 17: यो न हृष्यति न द्वेष्टि न शोचति न काङ् क्षति | शुभाशुभपरित्यागी भक्तिमान्य: स मे प्रिय: ||17|| yo na hṛiṣhyati na dveṣhṭi na śhochati na kāṅkṣhati śhubhāśhubha-parityāgī bhaktimān yaḥ sa me priyaḥ ||17|| 🔴 He who is free from elation, anger, sorrow, and craving, who neither seeks the pleasant nor shuns the unpleasant -- dear to Me is the man who is thus devoted.
🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 12 Verses 18 -19: सम: शत्रौ च मित्रे च तथा मानापमानयो: | शीतोष्णसुखदु:खेषु सम: सङ्गविवर्जित: ||18|| तुल्यनिन्दास्तुतिर्मौनी सन्तुष्टो येन केनचित् | अनिकेत: स्थिरमतिर्भक्तिमान्मे प्रियो नर: ||19|| samaḥ śhatrau cha mitre cha tathā mānāpamānayoḥ śhītoṣhṇa-sukha-duḥkheṣhu samaḥ saṅga-vivarjitaḥ ||18|| tulya-nindā-stutir maunī santuṣhṭo yena kenachit aniketaḥ sthira-matir bhaktimān me priyo naraḥ ||19|| 🔴 Alike to friend and foe, alike in honor and insult, alike in heat and cold, alike in praise and blame -- unattached, contented, homeless, and steady in mind -- dear to Me is a man who is thus devoted.

Now I desire to see Your divine cosmic form, O Greatest of persons. || 3 || 🔆 Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 11 Verse 4: मन्यसे यदि तच्छक्यं मया द्रष्टुमिति प्रभो |योगेश्वर ततो मे त्वं दर्शयात्मानमव्ययम् || 4|| manyase yadi tach chhakyaṁ mayā draṣhṭum iti prabhoyogeśhvara tato me tvaṁ darśhayātmānam avyayam 🔴 O Lord of all mystic powers, if You think I am strong enough to behold It, then kindly reveal that imperishable cosmic form to me. || 4 ||

This series of talks unfolds the highest truths of Vedanta through the study of "The song of God". 🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 10 Verse 4: बुद्धिर्ज्ञानमसंमोहः क्षमा सत्यं दमः शमः। सुखं दुःखं भवोऽभावो भयं चाभयमेव च।।10.4।। buddhir jñānam asaṃmohaḥ kṣamā satyaṃ damaḥ śamaḥ sukhaṃ duḥkhaṃ bhavobhāvo bhayaṃ cābhayam eva ca ।।10.4।। 🔴 Intelligence, wisdom, non-delusion, forgiveness, truth, control of the external organs, control of the internal organs, happiness, sorrow, birth, death and fear as also fearlessness; 🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 10 Verse 5: अहिंसा समता तुष्टिस्तपो दानं यशोऽयशः। भवन्ति भावा भूतानां मत्त एव पृथग्विधाः।।10.5।। ahiṃsā samatā tuṣṭis tapo dānaṃ yaśoyaśaḥ bhavanti bhāvā bhūtānāṃ matta eva pṛthagvidhāḥ ।।10.5।। 🔴 Non-injury, eanimity, satisfaction, austerity, charity, fame, infamy-(these) different dispositions of beings spring from Me alone. 🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 10 Verse 6: महर्षयः सप्त पूर्वे चत्वारो मनवस्तथा। मद्भावा मानसा जाता येषां लोक इमाः प्रजाः।।10.6।। maharṣayaḥ sapta pūrve catvāro manavas tathā madbhāvā mānasā jātā yeṣāṃ loka imāḥ prajāḥ ।।10.6।। 🔴 The seven great sages as also the four Manus of anceint days, of whom are these creatures in the world, had their thoughts fixed on Me, and they were born from My mind.

But beyond it, O mighty-armed Arjun, I have a superior energy. Intellect is even nobler than the mind. Free from attachment, do work as sacrifice. 🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 10: सहयज्ञा: प्रजा: सृष्ट्वा पुरोवाच प्रजापति: | अनेन प्रसविष्यध्वमेष वोऽस्त्विष्टकामधुक् || 10|| saha-yajñāḥ prajāḥ sṛiṣhṭvā purovācha prajāpatiḥ anena prasaviṣhyadhvam eṣha vo ’stviṣhṭa-kāma-dhuk 🔴 Bringing forth creatures together with sacrifice, the Lord of creatures said of old: Multiply by means of sacrifice; let it yield whatever you seek. 🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 11: देवान्भावयतानेन ते देवा भावयन्तु व: | परस्परं भावयन्त: श्रेय: परमवाप्स्यथ || 11|| devān bhāvayatānena te devā bhāvayantu vaḥ parasparaṁ bhāvayantaḥ śhreyaḥ param avāpsyatha 🔴 By means of this sacrifice nourish the Devas; let the Devas nourish you. Mutually nourishing, may you win the supreme good. 🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 12: इष्टान्भोगान्हि वो देवा दास्यन्ते यज्ञभाविता: | तैर्दत्तानप्रदायैभ्यो यो भुङ्क्ते स्तेन एव स: || 12|| iṣhṭān bhogān hi vo devā dāsyante yajña-bhāvitāḥ tair dattān apradāyaibhyo yo bhuṅkte stena eva saḥ 🔴 The Devas nourished by sacrifices will give you the enjoyments you seek. Verily he is a thief who enjoys without giving back to the Devas (a share of) the gifts given by them. 🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 13: यज्ञशिष्टाशिन: सन्तो मुच्यन्ते सर्वकिल्बिषै: | भुञ्जते ते त्वघं पापा ये पचन्त्यात्मकारणात् || 13|| yajña-śhiṣhṭāśhinaḥ santo muchyante sarva-kilbiṣhaiḥ bhuñjate te tvaghaṁ pāpā ye pachantyātma-kāraṇāt 🔴Good men partake of what remains after offering sacrifices are liberated from all sins; whereas the sinners who cook for their own sake live on their sins. 🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 14: अन्नाद्भवन्ति भूतानि पर्जन्यादन्नसम्भव: | यज्ञाद्भवति पर्जन्यो यज्ञ: कर्मसमुद्भव: || 14|| annād bhavanti bhūtāni parjanyād anna-sambhavaḥ yajñād bhavati parjanyo yajñaḥ karma-samudbhavaḥ 🔴Living beings are born of food; food is produced by rain. Rain is due to sacrifice. Sacrifice is the offspring of work. 🔆Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 3, Verse 15: कर्म ब्रह्मोद्भवं विद्धि ब्रह्माक्षरसमुद्भवम् | तस्मात्सर्वगतं ब्रह्म नित्यं यज्ञे प्रतिष्ठितम् || 15|| karma brahmodbhavaṁ viddhi brahmākṣhara-samudbhavam tasmāt sarva-gataṁ brahma nityaṁ yajñe pratiṣhṭhitam 🔴Know that this work is born of the Vedas, and that the Vedas are born of the imperishable Reality.
